If you are referred to Shorter Settlements, DO NOT USE THEM. Kharee was very unhelpful and unresponsive. We did not get the damages we needed covered. He told us back in September that our claim was under appeal and we haven't heard from him since October. We've tried phone, text, and email and no response. We have been in touch with our insurance company and they have no record of an appeal. We are going to research to see if we can still recoup any of the cost but we will absolutely not be working with Shorter Settlements or Paid Fairly. To be fair, Paid Fairly has been responsive, they just aren't handling our claim. They did, however, refer us to Shorter.

In a room that had some unevenness to it that looked like the building could be sagging, he could see that, no, there was a small bulge in the floor due to uneven support beneath it when it was installed. We called with a follow-up question relating to something unexpected a contractor was doing, and he gave us an incredibly helpful second opinion. I filled out the request at 4pm and got a response from this company immediately! They also were available to come next day, that's what I wanted. There was a guy and a girl who showed up ready to work. They took their time and did a GREAT job. A bit pricey so I could not afford s monthly cleaning but maybe once every 4 months.
