It was my first time there and she made sure I knew how things worked. The machines are really nice quality and don't leave any funky smells on your clothes like some laundromat machines do. I was able to wash my really big bed comforter for ten bucks which is a pretty good value I think! At other laundromats it's cost me $12 bucks just to use the larger washing machine so I'd say this is a steal. The place was clean too and you can use their card system, or pay with cash or credit/debit. Nice location too, just off the highway near Del Monte Shopping Center. I'll definitely be back again!

I probably bought in 3 pounds of clothes in assuming I'd be charged around $7.50-$10. Nothing was sad when I dropped my tiny bag of laundry off. This person could've added a little bit of value to their business seeing I was a new customer by telling me there's a minimum charge order price when I brought in a tiny bag of clothing. When I picked my clothes up on Sunday at noon, the young lady was pretty blah. She told me $17.50. I was surprised, but I gave her a $ 20 and said you can keep the change. She replied "do you want to receipt?" I said "sure and thank you." And then just silence... grab my laundry and walked out. How difficult is your job? Are you that unhappy that you can't be polite?

Case in point? Two weeks AFTER I opted out online of ALL future recurring laundry pickups at my home? And messaged the owner to delete my credit card on file with Del Monte Laundry? This afternoon the owner arrived in my driveway in the company's vehicle out of the blue... And rudely blamed me !! in front of my home for all the world to hear for the confusion. I cannot recommend Del Monte Laundry. ... UPDATE: THE OWNER'S Response? It may serve his new laundry business in the future to fix the "bugs" in the company's online reservation platform; but in no way does it serve as any kind of adequate apology for the disrespect this laundry service owner showed me; shouting in my driveway... nor, for the unforgivable thing he said so all the world -- and my all my neighbors could hear him. Unjustified. Unbelievable. Unforgiveable.

I've never seen any customer complaining at the front desk. Flexible hours six days a week from 7 AM till 7 PM. I just tried to have them re-do my black dress shirt, which came back with a lot of white marks all over the shirt and they quickly said I had to pay for it (at the time, I was bringing in about $60 worth of dry cleaning/laundry) I asked the manager and she said that I had to pay for it because I didn't request a "re-do" within 24 hours of picking up my shirt. I picked up 20 shirts that day - am I supposed to take all shirts out of the plastic and inspect them all that night and then return the ones they didn't do right? I can understand if I was a new customer but 20 years worth of business. I told them I wouldn't be coming back and taking my business elsewhere....no response. They may be the cheapest place in town but after years of being okay with shirts not properly laundered and broken buttons, I am done. Would love it if someone from management replied to this review, but not very hopeful. I know my $1250+ a year is a drop in the bucket, but with policies like this, they will be losing a lot more customers.

And as we all know it takes a while to change behavior and perception. The "New" Carmel Cleaners now owned by a lovely guy- he also owns The Grove Laundry in PG. he was a Commander in the South Korea Navy and that discipline is reflected in his business. Anyway you cut it having a cleaning business serving the public is a tough business. Clothing is personal -we get attached to items and unfortunately sometimes clothing gets ruined. No matter where you go. I look for cleanliness, on time delivery, careful handling of my items, staff attentiveness and support. The New version is spot ( no pun intended) on with the preceding requirements. Soony ( his name shortened) is very friendly and totally committed to customer satisfaction. I bring him high end clothes and don't worry. I can't say that about some other establishments. I am in his store once a week with drop offs and pick ups. He is great with all bedding. Sheets and Duvets are impossible to do at home but he has the equipment to wash and press so they look and feel brand new. In all the times we've used him we had one mishap. I brought back my wife's expensive blouse and showed him the problem that he acknowledged and Took complete financial responsibility for the item. No questions. A very classy business man. If you still haven't tried Carmel Cleaners because you remember the Old Days please give this new version a try. When you pick your clothes up you get an itemized list of all your clothes with a price for each. Never in the old version. Enjoy

For 3 separate incidences they charged me $15, $18, the &16 for all the same item. I understand for the 16 , they charged extra because of a stain. I had pen marks that has always been there , and there were NO changes to pen marks -fine I didn't further discuss that charge. For the charge of $ 3 more , according to the them it was a "longer" coat. I've had the same size, brand of lab coat. I'm 5 ft tall so I wear a short length. They refused to reimburse the additional 3 charge. The owner lady was absolutely rude, going on a diatribe on how hard they have to clean in the heat etc etc . How did the discussion go off rails???? My point was the principal, whether I was charged $1 or $3 more she refused to listen or take into consideration I have been a long time customers bringing the exact same lab coats ever since. She refused to give a credit, when I brought to the attention the 1st time the man said next time he'll give me a credit. I brought my receipts , she refuse to do anything about it . I will not be using their business. They are little more pricier but I use them for convenience since I live close by . Rude rude rude owner.

Every time I come with out fail one machine doesn't do what I expect it to. Today for instance I did towels and some darks. The towels went into a super washer and they got clean. My darks went into a double wash and they did not. The driers are hit or miss. My towels are taking for ever even tho I split the load between 3 driers. My darks dried so fast I thought the drier was a super drier so I put some of my towels into that unit.... As I am folding my darks I smell them and they do not even smell like tide. They don't smell DIRTY but they certainly don't smell fresh and clean. This happens usually with one load every time. I can't explain it. Another thing is they are wrinkled af. In my experience clothes should not come out of the drier wrinkled... I mean I used to put wrinkled clothes in the DRIER to quickly UNWRINKLE them. So I don't know. I will try one more time next week before deciding to go some where else. Reg wash $5.25 for the smaller machines. And up if you want a better wash. $8.75 for the super washer. Drying is $0.25 for like 4-7 minutes depending on temperature. My towels have been in for going on 45 mins now I want to say. Maybe it is just me.... ‍
