I can't say anything about their cleaning services since I ended up cancelling, but I will say that their customer service was 1 star. The only reason they have 2 stars is that Sam was quite responsive in the evening when I reached out to schedule a cleaning for the following morning. So when I first reached out, Sam said their earliest availability was 10 AM, I said that was okay, but if they could come earlier, it would be even better. As you can see in the attached photo, Sam then offered 9am, which I agreed to, and even confirmed a second time that my appointment was set for 9am. The next morning, it's a bit past 9am, and nobody's here yet. I called Sam and he tells me that he never changed my appointment to 9am, despite me asking him a second time for confirmation. He says that the earliest someone can get there is 9:45 (not sure about this because this was a few weeks ago, but the point is that the cleaner does not come by that time). I ask him to please confirm that the cleaner will be here by then, and he says yes. A few minutes later, I get a text from Sam saying that the cleaner won't be there by 9:45 after all. At this point, I couldn't risk them being any later since I had other things to do that day, so I called Sam to say I had to cancel. He then tries to absolve himself of any blame and said something nonsensical like that the appointment was supposed to be for 10am. Anyways, the call ends because he hangs up on me while I'm mid-sentence, so there's that. Unprofessional behavior. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Terrible. Hired these people to clean an EMPTY 1 bedroom apartment. I'm a real estate agent and my client found them on yelp. We had just had the bathroom renovated and it was pristine.They claimed to be here for 6 hours (doing what I do not know). No surfaces had been cleaned, window sils and built in book case still had construction dust. The oven was gross. The fridge hadnt been cleaned. My client complained and they came back for two hours. Total of 8 hours paid work and this is what the oven looked like. Ridiculous. Outrageous really. No wonder they were more affordable. Less than one star is what they deserve...for coming back and still not doing it right. read more

Can't recommend smart cleaning's services enough - I've used them 4 or 5 times now and every time I'm left extremely satisfied with their work. They are always thorough, and have an amazing attention to detail (dust behind tv, they clean surfaces I wouldn't even realize needed cleaning), they take the extra mile to take trash and recycling out and clean dishes too. They are friendly and always have same week availability. I'm amazed at how clean they leave my apartment especially given that I have a chocolate lab who sheds A LOT. Booked one day in advance and got easily accommodated. Sam is very responsive. I was in a time crunch so did not have I limited time. I got a promotional offer in which I got a 5 hour cleaning service and paid for 4 Even then the first cleaner who arrived took almost three hours to do our kitchen. He did it extremely well. Since I did not have unlimited time Sam offered to come and join. He was extremely fast on his job and within 30 more minutes our living studio was done. Amazing job! I recently had floors and sheetrock /patch work done in my apartment by a family member. Clean up was brief (and not part of the deal) so there was still a ton of fine, powdery dust. On every surface! I spoke to Sam and was able to book Greg the next day. The day of, I was late getting home but Greg patiently waited outside the building. Once inside, I showed him a few areas that needed cleaning. He did way more than I expected and went above and beyond!, wiping off all surfaces, books, game boards, etc. He was extremely thorough and worked fast! My bathroom looks amazing!! BUYER BEWARE -UNPREPARED CLEANER AND AGGRESSIVE OWNER We just had a VERY STRANGE interaction with Arminev, our cleaner for our apartment. He was disheveled and unprepared.   When he arrived he had only a dirty cleaning rag and a spray bottle, no real cleaning materials and was using our TOILET PAPER to wipes down the bathroom. He placed my toothbrush FACE DOWN on the toiled. He was in our apartment for 8 minutes total, when I asked him to leave. In response to the owners inaccurate response below. An adult was at the apartment while your 3rd party person was there. Your person did not have supplies nor asked for paper towels. With all 5 star reviews I decided to give them a try for deep cleaning a vacant apartment focusing on kitchen and bathroom. All communication with Sam was and seamless. Unfortunately the cleaner (Sergei) not only did not meet our expectation, he was rude and defensive. He did not bring the appropriate cleaning supplies to conduct some basic cleaning tasks and argued how we expected him to clean, "with my fingers." Although Sam was apologetic and did not charge us for this cleaning or rather lack there off, we would caution others. It was important to us to have the cleaning done timely and although Sam offered to send some the same night at 7pm I was too afraid to risk another debacle. Update: I have read this yelp response from the company. Just to be clear: I absolutely did book a cleaning with this company in March. I am not confusing them with another company. I did not confront the cleaner because she was at the end of her time and quickly leaving but I did privately email the company the day after simply to let them know about my experience before this review. I did receive a reply from Sam Pastukhov, which didn't say very much except to tell me that they were sorry but based on the pictures he saw, I clearly needed four hours if I wanted my one bedroom apartment to be fully cleaned, which it was not. Like I said in my email to them, a breakdown in communication is a way greater issue than an incomplete cleaning. Further update: The company just responded to me again and completely mixed me up with someone else. I certainly did not book four hours for my tiny apartment. I did not refuse to pay for extra time. In fact I was not offered extra time. I did not ask for a discount. I was not offered a 10% discount. Sam provided a move in cleaning of my two bedroom/two bathroom apartment. It had been recently renovated and never thoroughly cleaned after the renovation. Sam cleaned inside every cabinet, closet, windows (inside and out plus tracks), and the floors. The apartment is approximately 1100 sq ft. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time of 10am. Terrible and aggressive owner. Do not use them, period. Just read the other reviews, buyer beware! My situation: 1. I booked for Sunday but the confirmation showed a Saturday. Their website is also confusing and may have caused the wrong scheduling. 2. I called to tell Owner I had an emergency and need to reschedule 3. Owner says "I'm playing games" instead of trying to understand my situation. I assume he thought I was trying to get out of the schedule cleaning but I genuinely had an emergency situation at home. 4. Owner wanted to charge $40 fee for rescheduling which I thought was odd considering I scheduled the cleaning for Sunday (24 hour advance notice). Additionally, I wanted to add more scope to an already $400 cleaning bill for a 1 bedroom! 5. Overall, the owner jumped to conclusion and did not try to understand the mixup. As a fellow business owner, words matter and don't attack people for reaching out with legitimate concerns! 6.
