Thats what you said!". I was speechless. This is extremely unprofessional, & not a good way to grow a business. The reason i stated it was too expensive because i found another place with much better rates, but chose not to go with them because i did not like their attitude over the phone. I chose to call Greg back because after consideration, I thought the service was pleasant on the phone, so the trade-off seemed worth it to me. I work in Fleet with a thorough customer service profile. It is very normal for people to question pricing. But because he chose to feel offended, this resulted in a missed opportunity. Because of this terrible customer service and communication, I strongly advise against considering this company. If they scream at people over basic questions I would not want them handling my personal belongings

They probably should have said so immediately and not have taken so much time to complete the job or offer to help move boxes around when they noticed there was still some time left. They both also lingered after to converse with me, both of them shook my hand and asked me to keep them in mind for future moves. My experience with Crescent Movers was great and it started with Susan the person answering the…read morephone. She was professional and knowledgeable and just had a very nice disposition. I gave her an accurate account of the items I would be moving when and where and I received a quote in about 20 minutes. The day before I received a call regarding the move to confirm and see if I had any major changes that would change the quoted price. On the day of the move the movers arrived a little late but it didn't bother me, my move was scheduled for 9-11 and they arrived at 930 and still I was out by 11, I had a 1 bedroom apt on the 4th flr. My entire move was done by noon!!!! They had gotten to my new place unpacked reassembled items they took apart and put things where they were labeled, ie basement bedroom kitchen etc. The only complaint was that I wish they had told me that they were going to have more people moving me, the paperwork said 3 but it was 5 guys so I didn't have enough money for all the tips, but I guess they worked it out. Clearly this difference made a huge difference though I'm not sure why. Setting up and arranging was easy, they were polite and provided a great quote of $650 for 3 men for 5 hours of move of a 2 bedroom. This sounds great to me and I book. Day of move goes okay however they took a very slow time moving things downstairs, acted surprised I had a flight of stairs when I told them multiple times in the arrangements, and dropped several things one being an inherited framed tapestry from my grandmother. This would all be fine except when we got to my new location they were clearly exhausted (2 of them are not in "moving guys shape") and almost irritated they had to finish the job. Like...that's literally what I am hiring the service for. However, what really tipped the scales was by the end, because it took them 2 hours longer than anticipated they doubled the price to a bit over $1200 and then had the audacity to ask if I was going to tip! I was, and had the money ready but how dare you flat out ask for it! To add insult to injury after they left and I tipped I found the broken tapestry. Additionally, they put heavy boxes on breakables and though I inventoried and labeled each box with the room it should go in they threw them literally in the almost opposite direction. The littlest mover, was the best. He was friendly, professional and darn strong for being so small. He worked his butt off and if I could've given everything to him I would have. Asking them about the tapestry I inquired if I should go through my insurance or theirs. They suggested theirs and then led me on a goose chase for a week before reverting back and saying I should go through my own insurance. For the fact that I didn't really save any money here by going with Crescent I would say absolutely choose another vendor.

Booking: I didn't…read morestart searching for movers until a week prior to my moving date (yes, I'm a natural-born procrastinator). I had a few quotes from several companies and ACM Movers gave me the best deal so I decided to book with them. They give you a window of time in which your movers will arrive. Mine was between 2-3 PM. They take a $50 deposit at time of booking (you pay the rest after the move is finished). They took my card over the phone for the deposit. Moving Day: On the day of my move, I received a call from them around 12:50 PM explaining their movers will be arriving late between 4-4:30 PM because of some issues with their moving truck. My window of arrival was between 2-3 PM, so although I was a bit disappointed since it was not a short delay, I do understand that sometimes things happen out of our own control. I am not an unreasonable person. I do appreciate that they let me know ahead of time instead of during my window of arrival. Communication is key for all relations and businesses. Arrival: They arrived at 4:15 PM. They wasted absolutely no time when they arrived. I was asked what they should and shouldn't be moving. While Daniil went over my moving information/details and pricing for me to sign, Vlad was already loading up my things to the truck. By the time I finished with the documents, half my things were already loaded. Daniil quickly joined Vlad thereafter. The Move: The move was swift and rapid, but with care. They finished loading up my things within half an hour of arriving. I was impressed! It has got to be the fastest move I've ever experienced and I've moved quite a bit in my lifetime. I am literally a nomad. When we got to my destination, it took them roughly 40 minutes to complete the move. I had a small storage space and I honestly didn't think all my belongings could fit but they magically made it happen and I was very happy because I really did not want to rent another space or go through the hassle of changing my storage unit. From time of arrival to time finished, it took them about 2 hours with some minutes to spare. My quote was for 2 hours and it was spot on with the information I had given them. Payment/Quote/Completion: $129/hour x 2 hours $129 for distance/mileage Total $387 If you go over your time slot then an increase in price will obviously take place. But, with how fast these guys work I don't think you'll see any surprise additional costs, so just make sure everything is in order on your end with scheduling elevator reservation at your designated properties to avoid any unforeseen circumstances. This is just Moving 101. You can pay with cash, Zelle, or Venmo. I'm not sure if they take cards, but I paid through Venmo with my remaining balance. I would inquire about acceptable payments if you don't have any of the options mentioned above. Overall Experience: Although there were some mishaps with the arrival time, these guys were diligent and professional with their work and made up for it with their brisk and smooth move. My things are still intact and not damaged, which is most important to me. All other miscellaneous issues I can overlook. But, that's just me. These guys take their work seriously and you can just tell. I am planning to use them again for my next move and hopefully I can request for the same guys (Vlad and Daniil), but I'm sure everyone in their company is just as good.
