Based on my experience with SMART PICK LOCKSMITH last evening, August 31, I can only give them the highest five star rating. My Mustang car key with remote fob had been lost somewhere in my house during interior renovation, and as yet, had not been able to find it. The young man with this company arrived at my house just after 6 pm as promised, was personable, sincerely friendly, and duplicated my key and remote fob perfectly. He replaced my key expertly and in a very timely fashion. If ever I have the misfortune to replace keys or locks in the future, I will most definitely contact this company first. I just wanted to share that I had a great experience today with this company. For about a year both of my key fobs for my car have been dead, not need a new battery dead, but dead. A few months ago I ordered after market ones from amazon for $25 for the pair. Unfortunately I was unable to program them myself because my car didn't support it. After a couple of failed attempts at a local dealership I called this company for just a quote to program my key fobs. Within 15 minutes of my phone call I had a professional locksmith at the shopping center I was already at. He not only made me feel comfortable, but safe with my girls and my money. After losing my keys , I found out that the only way to replace my smart key was to get my vehicle towed to the dealer ($190). Then i would have to pay for my new smart key ($330) and the manual key ($23). Then for programming it was another ($80). They probably would have charged me another fee to break into the vehicle too since I had no keys at all. All in all it would have cost me around $650 with all the fees and taxes. These guys came to me and unlocked my car, and turned my alarm off. Then within 15 mins I had a new smart key programmed and he gave me 2 free manual keys as well to keep. I lost my key fob while travelling over Thanksgiving. First place I started for a replacement key was the dealer whose price was $260.00 and I had to tow my vehicle to the dealer. I guess it happens to everyone... But losing your car keys is stressful! I drive a Volkswagen bug, so when I lost my keys I thought for sure I was going to be out hundreds of dollars to get the key replaced... My vehicle smart-key with remote broke and I contacted the dealer for a replacement. It was going to require two trips to the service dept and it wasn't cheap. After calling the dealer and getting the price of buying a very small milk cow, I decided to go to YELP! I messaged through yelp to find Smart Pick Locksmith and within minutes got a response and scheduled an afternoon appointment for the following day. He came on time as scheduled and I think the process took less than 20 minutes if that. They also accept credit cards, in case you're at work (like I was) and can't run out for cash. Incredible service! If you need a key for a car these are the guys to talk to. I lost my only set for my '04 VW R32 and they came out the day after I contacted them on time and had a new key for me in half an hour. If you need a key these guys can do it. Had a great experience with this company. They were extremely helpful and polite on the phone. They told me they could get a tech out to me in about an hour to and hour and a half and then about 20 min later a tech was texting me telling me he would be at my house in 10 min. Lost my 2nd Autostart Key Fob for my 2012 Toyota Highlander bought a refurbished one on Ebay. Smartpick was able to program it and cut a new valet key for basically half of what the dealer wanted. Overall great experience. My appointment was at 10. I got a text of a delay, no problem. Upon arrival, the tech explained he was doing a lock change for an eviction, which explains the delay given such a precarious situation.
