Cushy chairs; side tables; water, coffee and tea available while you wait. They even have a high top table and chairs if you want to work on your laptop. The service was too fast for me to do any actual paperwork, but that's fine by me. If you need a locksmith for your home, car, boat, RV, etc. this is the place to go. We were in need of a locksmith when our vehicle would not start and the anti theft light was flashing. We found Lady Locksmith through a search on our community FB page. After reading additional reviews on yelp we called and Stephanie told us it would be about an hour for someone to contact us with an ETA. It was my first time walking into the location the Lady Locksmith's office on Western Branch Blvd/High St., but it was not my first time having the Lady Locksmith fix a key for me--she used to work out of a quaint house in Portsmouth years ago. Every time she does something for me, I am always grateful for her experience and professionalism. My car keys--both of them we "wonky". They would beep for no reason; they would unlock the door if they felt like it. I was a prisoner to a remote key as I never knew if my own keys would even let me drive my own car! In less than 15 minutes, the Lady Locksmith fixed all that. She did a little of this, a little bit of that and $30 and 15 minutes later, my keys (both of them) work! I have retold the story of her work to at least 4 people today alone. Take you key back to a dealership and you will pay a mint to have done what she can do in 15 minutes. Called this morning after going to the gym and locking my wallet in the glovebox of my new to me car. The key worked to lock the glovebox but the car decided it was going to hold on to my life inside there forever. Stephanie was very professional and quick to get my wallet back free and didn't even have to go to any extreme measures or cause damage to the car (which at that point I would have been okay with to get my wallet out). In August of 2023, I had Lady Locksmith come to my home because I had locked my keys inside my car. They were there in a reasonable amount of time and got my car open quickly, but that is where the good service ended. One employee got the door open while the other came straight to where I was sitting on my porch and began writing up the bill. They were there less than ten minutes and charged me $185.00. I feel this is a grossly inflated amount for the work done. My main issue, however, is that I later discovered that whatever the employee did to open the door caused some type of damage to the door of my car. That corner of that door now leaks when it rains. Two letters to the company have gone un-answered. I don't want to go that route, but it is beginning to appear that I have no choice but to consult an attorney. read more

I recently lost a key FOB and wanted to get it replaced. I purchased a used one on line but still needed to get it programmed and have the internal emergency key cut. I went to Lady Locksmith on a Saturday morning and she took care of me. She is super friendly, very knowledgeable and had me out the door in less than 30 minutes i with a newly programmed FOB and a new key. In the middle of this tropical depression (remnants of Hurricane Ian), my side security outer door slammed and locked shut with me on the outside in moderate rain and 50mph wind gust. Contacted Lday Locksmith, having never dealt with them before, and Bruce was at my home WITHIN 30mins. Additionally, had to go back to their store to get more parts: but had it all fixed within the hour. Their prices are reasonable, and their response to my crisis was immediate. Gave them 200 dollars for a key fob they couldn't get it to work an tried to keep my 200. I actually had to file a claim with my bank to get my money back. This was after they wasted 4 hours of my time letting them try to doit. Tried to get me to leave with a key fob that didn't work about 3 times but I said why would I need a fob that doesn't work? Never mentioned givin me my money back then would read my messages askin for it back an then reply a few hours later with no offer of a refund. I thought I was savin money with these ppl but dealer was actually cheaper wish I would have gone that route instead. When they were tryin to key my car they were pullin YouTube vids on how to doit. Definitely not a legit lock smith imo an real unprofessional. Also seen another guy come Up an they couldn't get the guys trunk to open so he eventually got annoyed an took the car without the trunk button working. Now he's got a key fob that doesn't work 100 percent. Smh. Save your money an call a legit lock smith. This place is far from that. Response to call was excellent. Sending a technician excellent. Here are where the problems started, and I blame myself for 1. I broke a key in a deadbolt lock, called for service and a technician arrived claiming he knew "everything". He took lock apart, he lost a critical piece in my house, he then left with lock and lost another piece. By the end of this "business transaction" I was livid. I will not deal with incompetence in a situation such as this, because your life can depend on it. I cannot attest to type of training received, but apparently it didn't sink in because he was clueless - albeit to say, if this is the quality of their technicians, I certainly won't call or use them again. read more
