    Smash 2x2 extra cheese
    Hamlet O.

They're still work in progress, they just opened up been about 2 weeks. Give them a try, new establishment, nice owner. I think for the time being it's a one man show till he hires some workers. Ordered the 2x2 with extra cheese - good decent burger, a bit over cooked since it's a thin smashed pattie. Make sure you get 3x3 Fries - crispy seasoned Jalapeño poppers - I think he forgot to either throw them in the fryer or reheat them because it was cold. They're close by my house so I will return back give them another try for sure

These guys are super nice, very generous, friendly and welcoming. They've been open about 3 weeks in this location. It's close to the high school and the rec center/park, so hopefully that is good news for foot traffic. This is in the plaza with Popeye's, so there is a parking lot and usually ample free street parking nearby as well. Burger was a real smash burger, thin and lacy with good seasoning and crispy edges! Probably our second favorite of all the smash burgers we have tried in LA. The fries were solid, well seasoned, thin cut, crispy. The mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers are made from frozen but they'll do! Could use some salt/seasoning, so hopefully they will consider providing some salt & pepper shakers at the counter for use when eating in, in addition to ketchup, mustard & mayo bottles. At the moment, they have ketchup packets behind the counter on request. We got a 2x2 an a 3x3, both with extra cheese. This may be sacrilege for me, a cheese lover, but I don't think these needed the extra cheese! The normal amount is well balanced with the meat and sauce. The bun was nice and soft, the boom sauce was good and there was enough of it to provide good flavor without making a total mess everywhere. We both got added grilled onions, which they graciously offered us as a free upgrade instead of the $1 they normally charge. I would definitely get those again in the future. There are a few tables inside so you can consume your burger at maximum freshness. The space is chill and comfortable. No restroom, but I hope they consider some hand wipes or something of the sort in the future, since this is all finger foods. We will definitely be back! It's nice to have a real smashburger option here in Burbank. Thanks, guys!

New business in the area so decided to pop in with the fam. We ordered the 2 x 2 which is pretty much what it sounds like. Double patties. We split fries and mozzarella sticks. Everything was well seasoned and freshly prepared so it was hot. Bread looks dry but it was grilled and soft. The service was great! Overall we'll definitely be back when in the mood for burgers.

I ordered the 1st Ring Master : 2 by two; 2 burgers w/ 2 cheese's surrounded by Onions. Served on mix greens & Wine

She loved it so much that we ended up ordering a second plate of the regular French toast. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. The ambiance was calm, the aesthetics were beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the outdoor patio. Random, but the women's restroom was stunning. I personally hate using public restrooms because they're usually the forgotten space and not very well kept. That definitely wasn't the case here -- it was absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully designed.

As always, the food was great, portions are generous, the restaurant was busy and our server was nice. My friend and I came in for breakfast, ordered our entrees and both ordered iced tea. The cups our beverages were brought in, were plastic to go cups, but I was like okay whatever, maybe the kitchen is busy and they didn't have time to clean the glasses. My friend asked for a refill, and I don't remember if she was brought over an entirely new drink or if the server took her plastic cup away, and refilled it. About five minutes later when I asked for a refill, we were then notified that they charge for refills. So, the first time we were charged for a refill without being notified, and then when I asked for a refill we were then told of this "refill" charge, which is basically the cost of an entirely new drink. I declined the "refill." So, for 3-20 oz black iced teas we were charged $12.75. I understand that prices are going up, and restaurants may charge for refills, but the way this was handled was off putting and kind of gross. AND THEN, there is something on the receipt called "cash discount", but it is actually an additional line item charge (I paid w/my Visa cc).

It has American, Mexican and Ethiopian food, so there is something for everyone :) I started with the Sambusa with beef and really liked it! The waitress recommended us to eat it with salsa from their salsa bar and it paired perfectly. It was a little oily but great flavor regardless! I also got the Awaze tips with Injera and beef. The injera was a spongey tortilla/bread like carb that was covered with a beef/veggies mixture. We were able to adjust the spice level on this since the waitress warned us the dishes were very spicy but to be honest, it wasn't spicy at all and I would like to try the other dishes with spice next time. The Awaze tips dish was really good and pretty big portion. Excellent service and food! I would love to come back to try more.

Featuring about 5 different varieties. No need to go to Fairfax to Little Ethiopia, an hour away. Interior is decorated mostly with all things western cowboy with smattering of movie stars & bit of British royalty. Other menu items are basically American diner breakfast, lunch, dinner, punctuated by standard northern Mexican. Service is polite, understatedly welcoming and subtly aware. My ice tea was refreshed many times due to the piquancy of Dorowot. 1) Dorowot/Ethiopian Chicken: Injera, a hole pocked, spongy, huge "pancake" made from Teff, gluten-free, faintly nutty, earthy grain native to Ethiopia. It reminds me of Indian rice based Appam with many holes from the carbon dioxide given off while the batter mixture is fermented. Dorowot here is not slowly stewed for 3 days to create a rich, dark, thick, sauce demi-glace by the likes of Master Chef Genet Agonafar, but the dark red, paprika enriched thickened sauce may be braised for about 3 hours which is enough to mellow out the chiles so it only leaves a slow burn. Chicken leg & thigh cooked in this red sauce anchor this main dish. The three vegetable accompaniment are: a) Soft, smooth, velvety, sweet cabbage cooked with buttery olive oil b) Chunks of earthy, dulcet red beets that have an initial firmness yielding to cleavable softness. c) Collard Greens are chopped with pieces of garlic, cooked retaining fresh greenness. Ranch Side's Dorowot at $21 may be a good value compared to the more detailed $31 Dorowot by Genet. 2) Awazè Tibs: Sweet, butter aroma hits first, Acidic tomato paste-like, red chile piquancy. Slow burn as well as a subtle smokiness to this complex stew. Owner explained the Berbere was the name of the chile based spice mix. There is a subdued sourness that comes into play along with aromatics from chopped onion and green bellpepper. I ordered off menu so I asked that the mushrooms and cubed beef be mixed together. Mushrooms are soft and cushy while the beef has a good chaw to add contrast in texture. 1-2a) Old Prague Traditional Czech Beer, Bohemian Premium Lager: The art on the can depicts elegant old buildings of the Stare Mesto old town and picturesque Karlov Most crossing tbe Vlatava River on the way to Hradcany castle. Toasty, roasted grain, light fizzy acidity, brown sugar, long lasting sweet, burnt, tingly finish. 3) Peach Cobler has a wheat flour crust that is very moist and plush to the point of feeling almost like a pudding picking up the cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg spicing. Canned yellow Cling peach slices seem suspended in this rather overly sweet, rustic version. I had to take the peach cobbler home since it was so sweet. But glad I did since it pairs perfectly with strong Japanese Matcha, powdered green tea. 4 stars for a taste of Ethiopian international cuisine

(At a rib joint, the nerve) but it wasn't my plate so oh well. First note this is a pick up spot only there is an ordering counter that no more than 4 people can be in at a time. The street is super dark and desolate looking it feels like an industrial area think City of Industry. There's no parking well there's one spot to park for pick up. The street parking is filled with what looked like broken down type cars the four I seen had chalk writing like tow yards do. To the food!!! Ordered 2 two meat meals that come with 2 sides. Not a piece of bread or muffin was included. Please notice the dry @$$ pulled pork? and I got 4 pieces of a rib tip that was the same as 1 maybe 2 real tips ANYWHERE else.the tips were chopped into 2-4 pieces from one full tip. So I really feel cheated and I was frigging hungry -hungry. The pork was dry and couldn't be swallowed without the bbq sauce and drink. She ordered a hot link with ribs and added a side of ribs for an additional $24. The sides came in a small container I had Mac n cheese and greens which every bite I was like wish I had cornbread to add to these greens. While she had greens and the sweet potato (which by the way was the best thing they had going on) the Mac was average I'm about to reheat and toast again before I hit send for this review. Reheated the side of ribs, greens and Mac and it's a bit better than the pulled pork, but this definitely isn't a bbq spot I'd advise anyone to go to nor would I dare try without bbq sauce and a lot of it. Dessert banana pudding last time I was here the desserts were pretty good. This tasted like the yoplait whips yogurts consistency and like knock of Nila wafers I was just sooo utterly disappointed.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I was seated in the very corner, and after my order was taken and my food was dropped off, I was completely forgotten. No one checked on me--not once. No one asked how my food was, if I needed a refill, or if I needed anything else. I sat there watching the tables around me receive attentive service while I was completely ignored. The people behind me were checked on multiple times while I couldn't even get someone's attention. I eventually had to wave down the hostess just to ask for a to-go box and my check because my server never came back. It honestly made me feel invisible. To make matters worse, the food was mediocre at best. It definitely didn't live up to the hype, and it certainly wasn't worth the poor service. I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. Between being completely neglected and the underwhelming food, I have no reason to come back. There are plenty of places that appreciate every customer, and unfortunately, this wasn't one of them.
