First time here. Prior to lunch hour. About 4 people ahead of us and after 10-15 minutes 3 or 4 behind us. Took about 20-25 minutes for our order. By the time it got to our order, the woman was so disoriented by the kitchen staff just throwing orders out on the window that she didn't know what was what. At first they tried to give our order to the woman behind us and thank goodness she asked for a side of honey mustard as it triggered the kitchen staff to say that wasn't hers. The other thing, a phone call came in during our wait. I watched the guy preparing food behind the counter as for the phone and with his gloves on that he already was handling food with, picked up the phone and when the call was over, continued to prepare food. With the same gloves. Personally, for the price, $18 for a burger, fries and a salad, it was sub par and nothing special. Given we've waited almost a year to try it, I would like to think the kinks of ordering, preparing food, etc would be worked out by now. I don't believe we will go back again. Not impressed. Burger just OK and fries did not seem fresh cut, more like run-of-the-mill frozen fries like you get at any mediocre national chains. However, given that they really only do burgers and fries, I'd expect both to be really good. Two very similar restaurants, Five Guys and Elevation Burger, are both better. read more

Food was okay, definitely a notch above your regular fast food burger. The hay fries were delicious, but I didn't care for the sauce it came with. I also wish they were a tad bit thicker. There seemed to be a bit of confusion in the kitchen and with the staff, but I chucked it up to being a new establishment. They don't seem to have gotten their "rhythm" yet. That aside, the ordering process was kind of annoying. You can't just order 2 burgers and 2 fries. You have to order a complete entree, i.e. each burger has to be ordered with the side item. This is ridiculous because what if you have a large order? You then to have to take your time to figure out what is paired with what. They can't place the order any other way. This was annoying. I waited in line for nearly 15 minutes simply because the woman in front of me who had a very large order had to have it organized for the cashier. Smashburger truly needs to work on this. I am not sure what all of the buzz is about. The food honestly is solid. Tasty and hot. I ate a chicken sandwich and my family had burgers. We all agreed it was good. Not certainly amazing. The Fries are average at the very best. Have to say, big crowds and long lines might say I am not in the norm. Those lines and lack of tables make it not worth it to me as well. So I tried it, I liked it and I doubt I will be any more than an occasional customer. read more

I went here the other day for a late lunch around 3 and it was pretty much dead so i haven't really seen it packed or even experienced if that makes a difference in quality of service but my food was amazing I ordered a Baja burger and sweet potato fries and i couldn't get enough. I read reviews on the fries being shoe string but the sweet potato fries are cut a lot thicker than that and they taste sooo good. The place was clean and i got my food very quick so maybe its just better to go when its dead read more

Never heard of Smashburger until it opened. I order from here usually when I'm at work on break. Sometimes the lines are ridiculous but you can order online so it's ready when you get there. read more

I was very disappointed with this location. I had the Avocado black bean burger and the avocado was minuscule need a microscope to see it. I ordered the Salted Caramel Shake while it was delicious as always however they gave it to me in a to go cup instead of a shake glass. They didn't even give me the rest of it in the shake container. Ok so in order my food at 830 pm I finally had to go up to the counter again at 900 pm and ask where my food was. My number sat on the table in plane view the entire time. The excuse was the girl put the number on wrong on the receipt. Good excuse but not flying with me. Finally after my wife had to go off the the girl we got our food at 910pm I am sorry yes people make mistakes but some one needs to be held accountable at this establishment. Not once did they call our name what is the reason for giving them a name And then they gave is free entree coupons that expire in a month. Thanks but no thanks you had your chance. I will not return! And the food not worth it! I should have just waited to go to the hour long wait at the brew house adjacent this no so fine establishment. Went for dinner since it's new and the line was to the door. They have two registers but only 1 was being staffed which made the line twice as slow. Two burgers, two drinks and two sides came to $25+. For that price you could hit a sit down place for a better quality meal. Wait wasn't too bad, but food was disappointing. Meat was dry and tasteless, fries were decent but the portion was not in line with the cost. Will not be returning and will instead continue to go to other fast casual burger joints in the area. read more

Horrible. I have never ever had such rude, ignorant service before. After waiting an HOUR for our food, the " manager" didn't even offer to fix the issue and proceeded to tell me that they don't do refunds. He finally said "ok, whatever" with a snotty attitude and very rudely refunded me my money. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years and the behavior of the staff was inexcusable. I was intrigued and kind of hoping this would be a better experience than it was. I could deal with the wait and growing pains of new employees...not a problem for me. However, the meal itself did not set itself apart from other burger joints like I had hoped it would. The Smashburger fries were good...yes, I really liked them. The onion strings, however, were way over-seasoned with salt. I ordered a basic burger and it was cooked perfectly for me which I was happy about; super-fresh bun, but it had no flavor...bland, bland, bland...even with their sauce and condiments on it. The chocolate shake was way smaller than I expected and it was not carrying the familiar flavor of Hagen Daz chocolate that I know so well...also bland, bland, bland...not much better than a McD's shake (which I can't stand). So we owed our daughters a celebratory lunch out for 2 aw some report cards. They chose Smashburgers. It was our first time there. We were greeted with a line all the way to the door but figured it was worth the wait. As many other people mentioned there was only 1 register opened... so weird. I ordered a BBQ bacon burger, daughters ordered bacon cheese burgers and hubby got a smash burger. We were impressed that they honor a 10% military discount! Our bill was still $44..The meals came to the table pretty quick... My burger had the smallest squirt of BBQ and about 2 onion straws on it. It was rather tasteless... the burger itself had no flavor. Was surprised it did not ha r lettuce or tomato for that cost. The bacon burgers were simply burger, cheese, bacon, mustard and onion.... nothing special . My husband liked his smash burger and said he would go back. This was my first time at Smashburger and it is my last! My husband and I were the only ones in line at the time, 2:50, and we felt rushed. It seemed the girl taking orders felt we should know what we wanted and was of no help. She was very abrupt when I asked her if her machine took a chip and after I swiped she handed the slip to me and said "Sign" and grabbed it back!! The counter was very wet and I was trying to find a dry place to sign. We sat and our food arrived in a timely fashion except i was missing my blue cheese. The girl that was waiting tables was very pleasant. She brought my blue cheese promptly. When i saw my food I felt it was way overpriced. The gluten free bun was terrible, disintegrating as i ate and totally overpowered the taste of the burger that I didn't think much of either. The sweet potato fries were boring. The restaurant area was littered with tiny pieces of straw papers and the ladies room could have been cleaner. The only good thing was my chocolate malt. Even the bottle of water was overpriced. Went on a Thursday night, line to the door waited a good 20-30 minutes. Ordered 2 burgers a fountain soda and a kids meal $26. My husband went and stood by a table as I flagged someone down to bus and clean it off as the seating area is not very big when its line to the door. Table tents for tables with numbers does not work. VERY Unorganized I had to flag down the lady and tell her it was ours. we got our burgers about 20 minutes later but not our daughters chicken meal. I had gotten a bacon cheeseburger (no lettuce, no tomato and Undercooked Bacon and the burger was not cooked thru on the one side). I took it back up and said I am not eating this as I paid almost $7 for a bad burger and my daughters food still has not come. okay okay we will make it again and bring the chicken tender meal right over. Okay so we wait and we wait and we wait. FINALLY almost 15 minutes later I get my burger still no lettuce, tomato bacon still undercooked and this time its RARE inside. AND STILL NO CHICKEN. my husband perturbed by this point took up my burger and said this is ridiculous we still haven't received our correct food for our daughter almost an hour later and my wife's burger is inedible as im getting grumpy and upset. so the manager came over and comp'd our entire meal.
