I am an independent delivery driver. I am not employed by this restaurant, I am not part of its food-service staff, and I am not trained or supervised under its food-handling procedures. My job is transportation of completed orders--not food preparation. This was a miss for me. I was just going to get a single smash burger and mac & cheese. The cashier mentioned a combo meal, with the smash burger mac & cheese and a drink. So I said sure, I'll do a combo. I paid, and was given a numbered buzzer. Filled my own Maine Cherry Coke soda , and found a seat near the door. Didn't take long before the buzzer went off, picked up my order at the window. Burger is a smash burger. Thin and just a single patty. Pickles and fresh jalapeño slices, slice of cheese and their sauce. Also I got a small container of their sauce. Which wasn't needed. Mac & cheese was basic. No cheesy stretch, it was actually kind of dry. Flavor was fine. Nothing exciting. I was turned off by the Febreeze room spray that the cashier sprayed around the dinning area while I was eating. The smashed burger was a flavor explosion in your mouth. I actually prefer French Fries that are not so crispy on the outside, however, they grew on me. Can't miss the place, though it's right behind DQ on FM620. Just look for the giant sign. (That's actually a smart move by the owner.) I went with a group of 6 guys, and the one of us that picked it is a known burger guy. I had the smash burger, and I gotta say as smash burgers go, they pretty much nail it in terms of purity. Perfect level of onions, and the sauce did not overwhelm. The fries were just fine and well-executed, fluffy and hot, but not exceptional. The burger guy in fact ordered wings, and it's worth noting that one wing contains both the flat and the drum, and so if you order 6, you're getting a healthy order. But they're breaded and rather heavily, which is not my favorite. The sauces were spot on, though. read more

The edges of the burger patty are super thin and crispy while the bun is soft, but I maybe would have preferred a larger bun instead of the patty edges drooping outside of the bun. The price is right though. The inside of the restaurant is pretty small, and the line to order bumped up against the patrons already sitting to eat. It was pretty warm in there also. Their fries are way better than any other fries out there. The oil they are using makes the fries taste so fresh compared to their competition. Ambiance of the place is unique and gives it thay amazing look and feel with the red and black coloring. I chose to order a six piece lemon pepper and loaded beef dog. My lemon pepper wings were amazing with their unique wet sauce. These lemon pepper wings were unique ut definitely had the lemon pepper flavor that gave these wings the best my taste buds were craving for. My loaded dog was like a like a spicy beef frank, not too spicy but just right amount of spice. My wife chose the their three piece tenders with peach flavor habanero sauce. I talked with the owner today and he said they have only been open barely for two months. I was amazed, because this place was so busy that it seemed it had been open for a while. My daughter ordered the same and added jalapenos. The fries were crispy and fresh but the burger wasn't too impressive. A little seasoning salt can go a looooong way. I also felt the fries were a little under seasoned but I was ok with bc I added salt. I also tried to add salt and pepper twice to my burger but it still seemed to lack flavor. Granted I didn't have the sauce added to my burger and I swapped it for ranch. Even so, a good burger patty that's well seasoned doesn't need sauce to make it a hit. That's easily fixable as long as they're willing to listen to feedback. Also, I would love it if they offered regular bacon that would've enhanced the flavor profile as well. I ordered the 4 tender combo, Cole slaw, fries, and lemonade. The fries were crispy and seasoned and went perfectly with their ranch dressing. Cole slaw was Cole slaw. Now the tenders, they were HUGE, I could have gone with 2 but then I wouldn't have extra for lunch today (made into a sandwich and salad). The flavor I ordered was the lemon pepper wet, it was absolutely delicious. A lemony spicy kick that stayed crispy even with the sauce. Went here on a whim because the kids were craving burgers and we really hit the jackpot. I don't love burgers so I got chicken tenders. They were well seasoned and juicy not dry. I did try the smash burger though and... that's the way to go. The burgers were sooo good!! The fries were delicious. The smashed sauce is so good and the Nashville hot sauce isn't particularly spicy despite the staff member recommendation but it is so good which is saying something given that I don't like Nashville hot chicken usually. My only complaint is that they stock Maine Root as I prefer coke products and my chicken sandwich, while very tasty, featured a piece of chicken that didn't fit great on the bun so a few bites were nearly meatless. I imagine that's a fluke more than anything. The fries are great as well. I'd definitely recommend coming by if you're in the area. read more

My girlfriend wanted to go out to eat elsewhere but I wanted to try this place out so we went. We both ordered our food and took a seat then our food was ready after a few minutes. Alex told me that one of our orders was messed up and that he'd gladly gives us another plate. At first I didn't think much of it and I didn't mind because the food was great and we were hungry. But after a few more minutes Alex and Jose come over and give us two more plates!!!! And a red velvet cake!!!! For our first time there they surely made a good impression and took care of us. I loved the food but I loved the customer service far more. Jose and Alex apologized for the misunderstanding and were so polite. First of I would like to mention that the brothers who own this spot own the spot next door and are absolutely the greatest guys. Huge smiles, genuinely care and put out amazing food. Now the food - unreal. This absolutely demolishes the competitors in Austin .. all of Austin. T22, Hatti B's, all of them. It's like not even remotely close. The portions are massive, the sauces are unreal (get the Nashville wet). I am not trying to write a novel but honestly I can't speak highly enough about this place. We needed this. The quality of the chicken is really nice. It's like actually juicy and doesn't have that weird fake chicken texture and flavor. Oh - get the ice cream too. The best part - everything. EDIT: the manager personally called me and apologized, offered a remake and refund and listened to my complaints, was very understanding. I have changed to 5 stars because of how quickly and nicely he was able to remedy the situation. I would give 0 stars. Ordered chicken and FRIES when I got home I realized it was macaroni, called the store and offered to bring it back and they told me no and that they would remake my order. When I arrived they only gave me a side of fries refused to remake my order and claimed their machines rang up as macaroni even though my receipt says fries. Searching high and lo for a smash burger spot where I'm from and couldn't find one. Lucky to find this place thanks to my wife and Google. I must say it was a great burger to go along with some great fries. They give you some type of fry sauce(which is also on the burger) that is also superb. Everything is cooked to order. Hospitality was top notch. It is a very popular place as word of mouth must be getting out. Only word of advice is, if you plan on dining in, it's hit or miss. The establishment is pretty small and you will have to wait for someone else to leave(there was a group of four that were done eating when i got there and were still hogging the booth when we left).
