Chicken Bacon Ranch, Double California Classic, Poutine

Service was very nice and came to check up us while dining and was happy to get additional stuff like napkins. The food was so good, some of the best burger and chicken sandwich I have ever had. The chicken bacon ranch was so good, the chicken was so moist and juicy and the breading on the chicken was so flavorful. Some of the best ranch with lots of flavor and paired well with the sandwich. The California classic burger was one of the best burgers I've had. The patties had a really nice crust that added a lot of flavor but was still thick with a really nice angus beef flavor. The buns had a toasted bun on the exterior which was incredible, shattered when biting into it with a really nice buttery taste. The nirvana sauce balanced the richness of the burger so well. Amazing burger. Some shaded eating area would have been nice. Overall, an incredible experience and would definitely return. Can't give this place enough praise.

Best smash burgers in Austin! I usually don't like saying something is the "best". But this is the best smash burger I've had in Austin. It is everything I want in a smashed huger. The cheese is melted, it looks simple, the meat is seasoned and smashed properly, and the buns are soft!!! It didn't take long to get my food. The truck is clean and ordering was smooth! I have officially found my "burger spot". !

Came today after a scooter ride down by the creek. Is super easy to get to from the trails. Food came out fast and fresh. I got the chicken strips onion rings and the mango tea of the day. Omg so good. The staff were super friendly and gave great rec's for the sauce. The space is in the parking lot of a gas station so it's kind of busy but it's super local and very friendly. All in all I'll be back for sure to try the burger next time.

We got the basic double cheeseburger with Cajun fries. It was very very fresh and very very good. While we were waiting a Buddha Burger Enthusiast let us know that the Cali is the best option. If you don't get the Cali, she said to definitely ask them to ghee your buns. We got some kind of chocolate chip toffee cookie. OMG. I'll definitely be thinking about it later. The service was awesome, but ambiance isn't the greatest. It's in a gas station. But don't think about that. It's good. We'll be back for the Cali and the chicken sandwich ASAP! And the cookie!!!

Didn't expect this place to be a food truck but to my surprise it was pretty good. The burgers were made quickly and survived the drive home. The patty had good flavor and didn't feel overly greasy. The poutine was an interesting item on the menu and the staff suggested we try it. I thought it was great. The cheese was melty and the fries weren't too soggy. The toffee cookie was a sweet and crunchy dessert. Overall definitely give this place a try if you're looking for a new burger spot.

I was enticed to try Buddha burger as result of their natural approach to their burgers. For example, I was told they ground their beef every day. The cali, according to the server, was one of the top 3 food items. As a general principle, I usually order the most popular menu items. The Cali did not disappoint! First, the bread was buttery delicious...larger than a slice of bread but smaller than a standard bun...toasted. Then the inside drippy good - a thick, fresh piece of beef, perfectly grilled onions (sweet & soft), lettuce, cheese and a special sauce. The burger was super filling. Buddha burger on metric is a food truck. They have a free standing building in Pflugerville. There is no seating outside. Therefore, it's a grab and go food truck.

I first discovered this business after attending a grand opening Yelp event for them. Some things you need to know before you arrive is the fact that the seating that they do have is outdoors and mostly not shaded. There's some covered seating directly across from the car wash, but there are no tables there. One of the drawbacks of coming here is ascending the rickety steps to place your order and to pick it up. This is definitely more of a get it to go operation unless you like sitting at a picnic table under the blazing sun. I got the double cheese and fries and they do give you a good helping of fries, but they were very stingy with just two packets of ketchup. The meat they use looks like fresh smashed beef, not previously frozen. They do a decent job in the burger business and a double smashed cheese combo will run you close to $20 (and you will face the tip screen with your credit card for that added expense). I think Buddy's burgers are of better quality and value, but they are better than In-N-Out, especially their fries. My order took less than 10 minutes to get. Informative photos/video included.

Food truck in north austin with burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes. A surprising addition to the menu is poutine down here in Texas. I didnt order it this time since we did a to go order but will have to try it next time. We got the Little Buddha burger with nirvana sauce. Burger was good! I wouldn't say it is anything super special but it is solid. The prices are comparable to shake shack or other burger places. If I were rank the burgers in the area though, this place would be in the middle of the pack. Mainly due to the high price for a good burger but not a great burger. Overall, We will be back to try some some other menu items but will probably go somewhere else to grab a burger

We really love their food. The location is pretty close to home so it's one of our go to meals if we're not cooking. The have a great mix of fusion flavors and just straight up classic burgers. I like to get the California classic burger sometimes lettuce wrapped (which is messy but still delicious. We also love the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and the tenders are massive. We love their sides, but my favorite are the onion rings which have a bit of an unusual but definitely not unpleasant kick. Really delicious toffee cookie too. They have a line up of house sauces but my go to is the sauce 6, it's a mix of thru bbq and nirvana sauce and I love it. Food always takes a bit to come out, but it's because you know it's fresh and very much worth the small wait. Not much seating is available but across the parking lots there's another few food truck with tables if you need it.

So, so good! I always get the basic cheeseburger, and add the fried jalapeños. Gives a nice crisp to it. I haven't had any of their chicken items yet, but they've got great burgers. And I feel like the pricing is fair enough. Most of the guys that work there are very friendly. And I love the string lights they have out at their benches. Nice touch to the ambiance.

This place is incredible! They serve up restaurant style burgers out of a beautiful brand new food truck! It is conveniently located near a gas station for bathrooms, drinks (other than water and tea sold at Buddha Burger), and a bunch of picnic tables! I got a vegetarian burger on the GF quinoa bun. It was delicious! The staff were kind and helpful with recommendations too. Highly recommend a lunch or dinner stop here!

They said it would be about 20 minutes for food since they were slammed, but I appreciate knowing it was made to order, so no problems there. Tried the Kaeng Panaeng and it was good overall. Huge portion size but wasn't quite what I was expecting. Salad was pretty standard but I'm glad they kept it separate so it wouldn't wilt from the heat. As for the chicken, I was hoping by itself it would be more thai inspired/marinated/seasoned but it's effectively just chopped up chicken tenders to be dunked in the curry. The curry is flavorful, albeit a bit watery, which I wish was reduced a bit. But if curry is not your thing, my friend's Kai Zabb was very good: tangy, sweet and heat all at once, so good to really switch up bites. And while I wasn't expecting sticky rice, I can't help but say it's the first time I've had thai fried chicken without it. All in all, I think its a great new place to try out, but if you've had thai fried chicken before, just temper your expectations.

Cousin's Maine Lobster Truck is a weird experience…read more It was fun to do once. I am probably not going to follow the truck from town to town so I never miss a single chance to get a lobster roll. * * * Cousin's Maine Lobster is a franchise of very very mobile trucks that sell lobster rolls. They also sell other lobster-on-top-of-stuff dishes. Their gimmick which I am not sure is a plus is to have no fixed location. They publish a list of places where the truck will be every week - generally one location for lunch and the other location for dinner. The Central Texas Truck could be anywhere from Georgetown to San Antonio. You can't just go there when you want unless you are willing to drive from Austin to San Antonio or San Antonio to Georgetown to get your lobster roll. * * * One consequence of being eternally mobile is that the truck has no regular or guaranteed access to a bathroom. You go to a brick and mortar restaurant - and the health code will require that that restaurant have a bathroom. Most food courts have some sort of bathroom - either one owned by the food court or one in a gas station or convenience store near the food court. Cousin's has nothing. So you not only have to plan ahead for when the truck is going to be within driving distance of you ... but you also have to plan to have done all of your personal business BEFORE you go to order from the truck. I do NOT consider this to be a positive feature. * * * There is also the issue of WHERE you eat your lobster preparation once you have received it. You could eat in your car. (For Samuel C that means a guaranteed necessary trip to a car wash.) There was almost no place to sit near where Cousins was located my day which was in the Yuppie complex of apartments near Oracle near Riverside. The park near where the truck was stationed has no park benches. I found ONE bench on the street mercifully provided by an apartment complex. Without that one bench I would have been scroodled. * * * I am from New England and have lots of experience with lobster. My personal opinion is that the way to eat lobster is boiled with a vast quantity of melted butter for dipping. The downside of a lobster roll is that the bread hides the taste of the lobster. This makes your investment in expensive raw materials kind of a waste. Mixing lobster with stronger tasting ingredients - which is what Cousin's does on the dump-ons - allows the stronger tasting ingredients to compensate for the diminished lobster experience. This is the way to go with Cousins. I did a Lobster On Tater Tots With Sauce concept and was not displeased. * * * Lobster should be boiled fresh from the fishing boat and eaten right on the spot. (For a related concept, see corn on the cob.) This is why people go to Maine for lobster and why clambakes with the shellfish just obtained an hour before the clambake make good sense. Shipping your lobster from Maine to Texas isn't terrible since the lobster is in water. Taking the lobster out of the shell and making raw ingredients for your lobster roll or lobster taco has started the clock ticking. As it happens ... The lobster gets old and stronger. This actually turns out to be a plus if you are dumping your lobster on tater tots. Eating old strong fish is an institution in Korean cooking. They like mackerel and other potent fish that pack a pow ... And aging the fish provides a taste Koreans really like. With lobster, aging gives you an ingredient that can stand up to being mixed with other ingredients. * * * This is all well and good. But it is not fresh lobster straight off the boat boiled and served in its natural goodness with only melted butter for a garnish. Some regional foods just don't travel.

I am frustrated. I called two times wirh no answer or return call. I sent 3 (now) messages. I had…read morequestions before I drove 25 miles to your food truck.
