Delicious food and friendly service. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and seasoned fries. The fries had a little too much seasoning for me but overall it was great

The RR Donut burger was def worth the hype and the wait. The service was great even though they were visibly swamped and overwhelmed. The manager had to come out to direct traffic because the line was wrapped around the building. Hopefully management sees this and makes it a regular menu item, I literally went 3x the week of the special.

Ambiance: The service is incredible! You feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door. I also like that you can see them preparing the ground beef, which makes everything feel fresh and transparent. The food comes out pretty quickly, and the prices are standard. Mango Lemonade: This drink is really great. The mango flavor is light and not overpowering. It's so refreshing and not too sour or too sweet, it honestly has the perfect balance. Classic with Cheese: I loved the sauce inside the burger. The patties are pretty thin, so it might not be filling for some people. However, the burger tastes super fresh and high quality. Regular Fries: The fries were great! They had the perfect crisp and were nice and fresh.

Very good burger. The double classic was cooked to perfection. Nice juicy patties, soft bun, fresh veggies, plenty of gooey cheese. The seasoned fries were excellent. Service was ok.

I was passing by this area after picking Thing Two up from ACC. I had no idea there was a Buddy's location this close to me. Therefore, this meant I had to stop immediately and get a burger. For those who aren't aware, this is Buddy's third location. The original location is in Austin, the second in San Marcos and the latest location is now in Round Rock. This is a locally owned burger shop that specializes in made to order Angus hamburgers. For this visit, I went through the drive-through as opposed to going inside. It should be noted that those who desire libations as opposed to lemonade and soda, dining in may be the best option as beers on tap may be purchased inside. Spicy with cheese & fries This is my go-to burger when coming to Buddy's. Aside from the burger being fresh, the added jalapeños, "spicy smack sauce" and pepper jack cheese really gives this burger an edge over the stereotypical burger place. This burger is savory, slightly spicy and lean. I added bacon to this burger for an additional $1. As these burgers are made to order, items such as grilled onions, grilled jalapeños and bacon can be added for an additional price. If purchasing a meal, fries come with the meal but it is possible to go with the seasoned fries, which is what I did. The seasoned fries are slightly salty, crispy and have a slight crunch. If you are feeling really froggy, you'll put your fries in-between your burger and enjoy the burger and fries simultaneously! Drive-through experience I developed a rapport with Isaac who took my order in the drive-through. He was pleasant, funny and upbeat. When in the drive-through I advised Isaac I had my kids in the car and wasn't trying to "order the whole menu". With my meal, I ordered one chocolate shake but to my surprise, when I pulled up to the window to pay, Isaac gave me two shakes as opposed to one for The Things to enjoy. Needless to say, the extra shake went over well with all of us. The burger, fries, sweet chocolate shake and positive vibes coming from Isaac made this expirence 5 star!

This place is amazing and one of the best things that make this place is mr.John michael, the manager that they have on site here. At the end of the day, it's the best burger's fries in shakes, just like he says, he just had such a presence about him and made everything taste so much better here. Very casual ambiance, kind of like your hometown burger joint, I would highly recommend anybody to go to this location in specific things. Just so you can see the aura that john michael has inside of this restaurant.

I finally stopped in to try a burger. I read all the reviews on how they had a great burger. I was a doubter but no more. The double spicy is excellent. The sauce makes it a bit messy but dang it is good. I'll ask for extra jalapeños next time. The seasoned fries are good. Nothing spectacular but still good. I can't decide if it's better than Whataburger. I still rate Top Notch's Longhorn Burger as best in town. The price is reasonable and it definitely is a very good burger. I am a believer and will be back. Fast service at counter and not a long wait after ordering. Definitely a great experience!

You cannot go wrong with Buddy's!! The service is outstanding, and the menu isn't huge, but when you have the perfect burger, it doesn't need to be! This new location is perfect for grabbing lunch or dinner on your way home or heading to practice!

I'm not really a burger person unless I cook them at home from scratch but Buddy's is definitely a great option when you're drained and don't feel like making them. I absolutely loved my burger and fries. These burgers remind me of a hole in the wall back home in Missouri. The burger was sooo good and it didn't take long for us to get our order. I didn't try a milkshake but my daughters did and love them. This place is clean and customer service is great.

Super disappointed in this place. The burger was messy and meh. You can see them hand forming the patties, but they had zero flavor. The fries were all clumped together and weird texture. Not one clean table in the place. Customer at the table next to me was telling he husband that the restrooms were dirty and gross. The best part was the friendly cashier- she was super nice.

Maybe the hype set my expectations higher, but i was not impressed... their sweet tea wasn't even giving me cavities... Burger was ok, but the buns look like they bought the cheapest available, fries were ok.. the veggies were fresh and crisp.. Not saying they're bad, but definitely had much better for the price The employees were very friendly and coming around asking if everything was good. I came here before thee lunch rush, so it was nice to order and get my food within a few minutes. The restaurant itself is nice, big windows to let the natural light in. I will have to try their shakes, but will not be fighting the crowd to eat here again.

So, I finally caved and checked out Buddy Burgers, because nothing says "live a little" like chasing a burger hyped harder than a Marvel movie trailer. I went with the #2 -- the Spicy with cheese -- because I enjoy living on the edge... and apparently, suffering. Let me tell you, "spicy" wasn't just a suggestion -- it was a full-blown lifestyle. This burger came in hot, literally. It had enough grilled jalapeños to make me question every life decision that led to this point. My tongue was sweating. My ancestors were sweating. Somewhere, a fire alarm went off and I'm pretty sure it wasn't in the restaurant. Now, the seasoned fries? Let's just say the seasoning team went a little Tony Montana with the salt and spices. They were good, but I had to dig for the potato like I was on an archaeological dig. Was it the best burger I've ever had? Nah. But it was solid -- flavorful, juicy, spicy enough to be illegal in three states. I'd definitely come back once the opening-weekend madness chills out and the line isn't halfway to the moon. Final verdict: Good burger, fun experience, and I'm now on a first-name basis with the fire extinguisher in my kitchen.

Yum yum! GO GET THE NUMBER ONE AND THE NUMBER four!!!

YALL GIVE THEM A RAISE or a gold star . I loved the burger . I had the number one with extra pickles and a land shark . I'm so happy. I'll be back again! Thanks guys !

When we found out, we rushed over for a Father's day meal. The atmosphere was pretty cool, interesting pictures on the walls, someone put a lot of effort, time and thought into the decorating of this establishment. All men running the joint, we told the guy who took our order(who was very nice), it was our first time here. They have been in business for 16 years(not at this location)! So lets get down to the food. My Husband ordered the two dog combo, one a Chicago dog, another a sauerkraut dog, it came with fries. He sad the dogs were amazing, they hit all the marks. The fries were ok, a little room temp(but to be fare we came there 30 minutes before closing). The soda's were really great, not two sirupy, not too carbonated, we enjoyed them. I ordered a pizza with Italian sausage added. They gave us our drinks for free, which was awesome. I didn't know what to expect with the pizza, but I was blown away by it. They should be very proud of the recipe they created. Most places over season/spice their sauces. The flavor of the tomato gets drowned out. This was absolutely not the case the sauce did not sow out the crust whatsoever it held its crisp the whole time. The sausage was wonderful. The cheese was everything you wanted on a pizza. I can say it's the best than crust pizza I think I've ever had. My husband tried it and we fought over who was going to be eating it for lunch tomorrow. It was huge. I wasn't expecting it to be that big. I will be dreaming about that pizza, and craving it. This is my go to place to get good pizza. It blows Nikki's out of the water. If you are craving some good then crust, pizza, or hotdog I suggest you go there. They also have chili fries, cheesesteaks, so much. They have one of those menus, where everything looks good, and it's hard to decide. Just try it. Warning, this pizza is 14 in(seemed bigger), and it being thin crust, and tasting so good, you might find yourself eating the whole thing. Wish we had pics to post, but we did not think of doing it, will do next time(which will probably be later this week, it was that good).

They offer two sizes, and we ordered the smaller regular Americana Cheesesteak, the Cartel, a shared order of fries, and two fountain drinks. Our total came to about $35, which felt like a good value for the amount of food. Service was friendly and they served our food to the table very fast. The fries were your typical frozen fries and came unseasoned, but that wasn't a big deal. We added our own seasoning. One thing to note is that they only serve Pepsi products. That's a big bummer for me because I'm a Dr Pepper girl, but it isn't a complete dealbreaker because they also offer tea. Now let's talk about my sandwich. It was loaded with so much meat that I couldn't even fit it in my mouth! I ended up taking some of the meat out and adding it to the fries, which turned out yummy. The steak was well seasoned, and the lettuce, tomato, and mayo ratio tasted perfect. If you're looking for a hearty cheesesteak that will definitely fill you up, Wise Guys is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back!
