I ordered the Double Smash Burger deal that came with fries and a drink. I found this restaurant when I was looking for a smash burger on Yelp. A friend I was with hasn't had one before. I placed our order in the parking lot. You can inside on a tablet. Our order didn't take long and I received a text with the box number to pick up our order. You take your phone and get close to the pickup boxes and tap that you are there and the box opened up. The burger looked delicious and I was surprised on how good the tomato was. Overall the burger was very good. The bun held up and it had a good teast. The fries were okay, nothing special. I'll definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Burger was kind of dry. Double patty. Grilled onions and pickles made the burger taste better with the buttered bun. Did not really taste the sauce. The burger has an umami flavor to it. I'll start off by saying I love the concept here! You order online or on a tablet inside and get a text when your order is ready. You check in either on the tablet or through the text to unlock the locker your food is in and you go on your merry way. Here are the issues, firstly they are located in an industrial area and there isn't a sign that actually says smashed out, I assumed I had incorrect directions until I saw two other cars drive by me and I followed them. Second issue is the instructions are not super clear. I initially ordered online and got a 40 min estimated wait which seems like an insane wait time at 3am. As I waited I read though some reviews and someone mentioned checking in when you arrive so I went inside and checked in on the tablet. The tablet then said 7-14 minutes until my order would be ready. From that point it was 13 minutes and my order was ready. I can only assume they do not make your order when you place the online order but rather A) plan it to be ready at the time the online app states or B) they make it once you check in. Either way that's not clearly conveyed at all. When the online order was placed the text sent said the order was being prepared. It would make more sense to have the message read "order placed, please check in upon arrival" or something if that sort. Looking back at reviews this seems to have been an issue for a year now so I'm not sure how invested the owners are on correcting this. If I rated solely on the experience it would have been one star but the food wasn't bad. I got a double smashed out with fries and smashed out sauce. You can pass on the sauce it's nothing to write home about. The burger was a good burger with a nice amount of cheese and the fries tasted fresh and not overly seasoned. My only criticism which is a big one is it wasn't a smash burger. That's what I've been craving and with the location and item name it led me to believe I would be getting a smash burger. It was a normal burger that had been slightly pushed down but no signature char/crispness you get. It was a decent normal burger and fries that I would consider getting again but also is not worth the $13 it costs. read more

When we were driving to the location I thought I must have the wrong address because it's an industrial park and it was jam packed but we found parking. I ordered a double cheese smash burger with fries on their tablet screen. Once I received the order from one of the lockers I had to request more ketchup because I only received two small packets. No sauce, no toppings, just meat, cheese and bun. Even ordering extra sauce for 0.75 cents I received absolutely nothing until I had to drive back to ask for sauce because it was that dry. The fries were very soggy and cold. The sauce is a mix of mayo and ketchup. It's giving absolutely nothing to the burger. We waited 35-40 minutes for cold food and our order to be wrong. Hmm... very mediocre food. I've been wanting to try a Smashburger for quite a while. Found this place as we were leaving Disneyland! When we drove into the parking lot, we were a bit confused. But we saw people entering the building and leaving the building to get food. No human contact, order on a pad they will text you when your food is ready and you will go pick it up in your little cubby. We got our food right away and ate it in the car, so it was pretty fresh. But it was very very soggy. Like the bun was just mushy. I wouldn't say it had any good flavor either for the meat patty. French fries were just standard nothing special. I definitely wouldn't be back, I'd probably recommend you skip this place unfortunately. read more

Came by before going to the golf range down the street. We ordered online and received a text to go to a certain locker to retrieve our order. The food came out faster than was stated on the time they said it would be done, not complaining though since we were hungry. I think I messed up with the inside out and didn't realize there was nothing in my burger so don't do the same thing I did. The fries were okay to me but the burger patty itself was amazing. I've been lately on a smashed burger phase and found this one closer to my home. I was looking at the pictures and also interested in how these open food kitchens worked. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of this method and unsure how successful these will be but only time will tell. I imagine rent is good but there really is no service. Ordered a smashburger and fries. The food I received did not look like the pictures. The patty did not have the charred outer crust and the patty was seasoned decently. My boyfriend and I were in the area and were craving a burger so we decided to try this place out :) I thought the pick up operation was cool and unique! Furthermore, after we paid on the phone, we just had to wait for our order, and it said that it would text me once my order was ready. Almost 20 minutes later (we were waiting a bit just because we knew a lot of people would be ordering at the time), my bf went in and i guess you have to go in and check in on the tablet too? We wish we knew that so maybe more direction online for it? :-) On the plus side, this would be good for people who can just pick up quick after work or something but honestly I think McD's would be better and faster. I got the single burger and my bf got the double. I wish there were criss cut fries on the menu when we went! When my bf bit into his burger, there was a really hard white piece maybe a bone of some sort? Not sure but it hurt the inside of his mouth when he bit into it. the buns were super soggy. I saw in previous yelp reviews people had the same problem. They were super mushy and felt super wet, in the end i just ended up eating the burger and not the buns. This hit the spot. Have been craving a smashed burger like this and they really delivered. It's take out and delivery only so they have their limitations with how big their menu can be; so I won't knock them for that. I wish they had shakes and other sides besides Mac and fries. Maybe some onion rings or something like that. The one thing about taking it to go or delivery is that it'll never be as piping hot as you want it. Their crinkle cut fries did sog up quite a bit so I had to throw them into the air fryer for a few minutes to re-crisp. The burgers themselves were very good. Love the contrast of the soft bun and the crispiness on the outer layer of the patties. Cheese is perfectly melted in there and really gives it that classic burger taste. Rarely give reviews but I feel this place warrants a review. First and foremost the burger patty is off the charts good! Embrace the fact that this place is different as you order off a tablet, then you move to the other tablet to check in & then you will receive a text when ready. Embrace this - as it will likely become the way of the future. The bun was uniquely soft with the perfect amount of lettuce, tomato and sauce. However, this 2nd time, everything felt microwaved.  I also liked the flavor so much the first time, I ordered an extra side of sauce this time, but this is where it gets confusing. I tried this place because it's one of many that pop up on Uber eats since this area has many kitchens. I was unimpressed with the burger it was cold and I live less than 5 minutes away. The fries were fine but the burger left a lot to be desired. I did like the bun but the meat was cold and the system they have for pick up is interesting to say the least. The people working the counter are just working no personal skills which is fine but I would honestly rather just check in and not have to talk to anyone. There order times are wrong and when it says it's done it isn't so you have to wait even longer for them just to put it in a cubby that you go and grab your food from.
