This place has it all. The smash room was not too hot, not too cold and had a variety of equipment we could hit things with and a wide range of different pieces we could destroy. We chose to do the middle package and add a TV to destroy. (It's an option to add an electronic to any smash room) We then decided to stay and have a few drinks and throw axes for an hour. The owner showed us how to throw the axes and some fun games to play while we were hanging out. While chatting with the owner we tried their signature cocktail, the habanero jalapeño lemonade vodka. We called to make a reservation and they offered us an even better deal, so we got to try the smash room and axe throwing. It was so much fun!!! The owners are hospitable and social, with great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. We enjoyed having a drink in a quiet location and getting to have fun. They even took video of us in the smash room and sent it to us afterward. We're visiting family in the area and we came to Smashin' Good Time and it was great! They have Axe throwing, smash rooms, billiards, darts, and the full bar was impressive. Our Axe group had ages 16-66 and we were all able to get the hang of it and the owners even watched us throw to give us some tips to throw better. This place is AWESOME!! Always wanted to throw axes but the smash room was sooo much fun! Me and the hubs came in for date night and started with the smash room. We got to use a variations of hammers, wrenches, crowbars and baseball bats on a smorgasbord of dishes, electronics, and a bunch of random ceramics and wooden objects. The safety gear we had to wear was on point because small pieces fly everywhere and I felt totally protected. It became a game to see who could completely obliterate the next item with one hit. After we completely destroyed the smash room, it was on to the Axe boards. It took a little bit and some expert coaching by the Axe pros and we were actually not only getting the Axes to stick on the board but a few were actually bullseyes! I'm now fully interested in participating in their upcoming Axe leagues. I would have never thought I would enjoy this sport this much. I cannot wait to come out and play here again! Went on a date night with my girlfriend. Needed to let off some steam as we've had a tough year like everyone, and we had a great time! We did the purge smash and axe throwing session. This was a great local axe throwing bar to find in the Sparks area. Located in the Smith's shopping center on baring. The inside of the bar is great, and has a good atmosphere for the location it is in. It may not look like much from the outside, but you won't be disappointed when you go in. We tried axe throwing on a date night and had a lot of fun. It was 25 dollars a person for an hour, and one day we will visit again to try out the smash room or play some pool. What a fantastic location for socializing with friends and trying out different activities. Due to the smoke, my husband's hopes for an outdoor birthday celebration were dashed so I quickly booked a lane here instead just a day in advance. I prepaid online but I believe there were options to pay at least a portion in person, as well. When you arrive, you sign the waiver forms on the tablets to the right of the doors and then head over to the bar to order your first drinks. We sat at a table near the bar and played a couple of bar games before the rest of our crew showed up. Then we all headed into a double lane area for axe throwing. The owner explained what made their axe throwing experience different from the others in town and also gave us some tips to try when throwing and some ideas on different games to play, then we were off! I felt perfectly safe the entire time thanks to the safety speech at the beginning and really enjoyed that the music wasn't too loud and that the place wasn't overly crowded like some other locations in town. It was also a fun bonus to watch people smashing things in their smashing rooms. This might just become a regular hang as things begin to cool off more for the season. 5 stars for excellent service, fair pricing and excellent drinks plus a bar food menu. read more

This is such a unique bar for the Reno/Sparks area. This is the only smash room in Nornthern Nevada and its so much fun. Its not too far from Legends and is good for all age groups.
