Copenhagen is the most unique, cool bar in Reno/Sparks. If you find yourself on west prater, stop in for an inexpensive cocktail and check it out. Say hi to Doug for me.

Wow what a cool old bar! We got the yummy shrimp scampi on a Friday and had drinks and smokes with the locals. The owner and bar tender were wonderful people with great service. We love this old bar that hasn't changed in what seems like 70+ years when it first opened. Can't wait to go back.

Best bar/museum I've been to in Reno/Sparks. So much history oozing from the walls. The place is owned by Cub but originally owned by Bear.

So, when I…read moresaw their booth at the Labor Day, weekend barbecue cookoff in Sparks, I decided to give them a try. I was not let down at all. I chose a platter with three ribs, hot link, cornbread, and for my sides, I chose their "porky beans", and coleslaw. Everything was amazing The ribs were succulent, and fall off the bone, tender, and the barbecue sauce was rich and tangy. The hot link had a good flavor, and had just enough of a "zip" to it, that got my attention. There was a good amount of pork in the beans, and I'm not sure what was in the sauce, but it was rich and delicious. The coleslaw was nicely, dressed with a little bit of pepper in it. The cornbread had just a little bit of a "sweet" to it, which I really like. It was also very tender. It didn't need any butter, or anything. This amazing meal, they only charged me 20 bucks. Worth every penny! Next time, I want to head into the restaurant to try some more of their offerings. Thanks for a great meal.

I went in big like a starving hostage and ordered a half rack of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, a Habanero Jalapeño Cheddar sausage link and a side of mac and F'n Cheese! My wife, she had the pulled chicken and a salad. First taste was the brisket, gotta go in for the brisket. The bark was so flavorful and there was the distinct smoke flavor. Unlike another place I've been to, this place was smoke forward and that's the vibe I like. Not bitter, but a good smoke. The pulled pork was out of this world and the ribs were just about perfect. Not fall off the bone but a great clean bite through. I know, I know everyone wants fall off the bone but hear me out, THAT'S JUST OVERCOOKED! Now let's talk about this sausage. If you aren't prepared for some serious heat (I should have known by the name) don't be a hero here. That link is damn hot. Like satan's b-hole hot. Flavor is amazing but it's hot as pawnshop wedding ring. I gotta say this place has got my attention. Not that it need my attention particularly, but you have it anyway. When I go to a BBQ restaurant, I want to taste smoke. That's what I'm there for. Butcher's Kitchen did not dissapoint. THEN!! the best part of the night was when they brought me and my wife back and showed us the smokers!! Like wizard of oz, ruby slippers, man behind the curtain sh*t, they showed me the damn smokers! Gave us the full tour of their amazing pits. Top notch man, top notch! You have a forever fan here. I will not rest until I've tasted everything on that menu twice over. One thing we noticed right away was that the bonchon was already set on the tables before guests arrived. It wasn't a large spread--just a small tin of cheese corn and a divided tray with kimchi, bean sprouts, and fish cake--not sure how long they were left out and did look and taste dry. The servers seemed to work well together. Different team members checked on us, cleared dishes, served food, and helped other's tables. Once it got busier, they also used robot servers to help deliver food. We started with the salad with house dressing and the popcorn chicken. Both were good, and the chicken was nice and moist. For the BBQ, we ordered the Chardol, Ju Mul Luck, Hawaiian Steak, Tri-Tip Bulgogi, and Galbi (short ribs). Having eaten at quite a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Las Vegas, we noticed the portions here were a bit smaller. They also limit each round to three appetizers and four meat selections. Overall, the service was good, and we especially appreciated Eurie for being friendly and attentive. The only thing that concerned us was when another server changed our grill. Instead of lightly drizzling oil onto the grill, she forcefully squeezed the bottle, causing the oil to shoot out onto grill. It seemed like an unnecessary safety risk for both guests and employees. Our favorites were definitely the Tri-Tip Bulgogi and the Galbi. Both were flavorful and tender. The Chardol was good, but the slices were very thin and the portion felt a little small. The restaurant filled up quickly between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., so it's clearly a popular spot. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back for the Tri-Tip Bulgogi, Galbi, and the teamwork displayed by the staff.
