I've been going to Dr. Robin since 2019. He is the chillest guy and a truly magnificent dentist! I've had cracks in my teeth that he fixed and he also removed all of my Mercury fillings which I had wanted to do for a long time. He's extremely reasonably priced and what's more, fast! I never wait for more than ten minutes for my appointment and he gets things done efficiently without sacrificing thoroughness or quality. He's also super great at telling me what I can wait on and what needs to be addressed now - kind of like a great mechanic! Haha. Right before the lockdown he told me we couldn't wait any longer to redo the one crown I have and so he redid it and it came out lovely. I'm so glad he pushed me to do it as the old one would have fallen apart during quarantine and I would have been screwed. Unlike many Beverly Hills dentists, he's not caught up selling you exorbitant cosmetic things you don't want or need. He can do all those things well if you want them, but he likes a natural smile that's maintained and as beautiful as it can be with minor and subtle adjustments. That's exactly my taste and speed. Buuut....I broke the tip of my fang on a damn gummy vitamin and when he fixed it, I asked if he would make the fangs extra sharp so I could look like a vampire! He was like "I have done that, but I'm not doing it for you! Your teeth are naturally so nice." But he did agree to do it if the Zombie Apocalypse happens, so here's hoping! Lol. Maribel, the office manager, is a true gem and a super smart person that helps you stay on track with your dental plans. She runs things so well. Everyone at Dr Robin's is so lovely and great at what they do! I'm not sensitive to dental work or bothered by it, but if you were, this would be a great office for you as the bedside manner of everyone is superb. They also have TVs in each room with Netflix and more. One tip/negative is parking in the late afternoon is horrible during commute time and Pico is a parking lot. You can park on sub streets below La Cienega parallel to Pico. In the meantime, floss your damn teeth and don't eat gummy vitamins! They're bogus anyway...right?! :-) read more

After years and years of so many bad experiences with oversell and hack Dentists that ruined my teeth, I finally found a practice that I could trust. I have such intense dental PTSD, it has been a struggle. Every DDS I saw there was kind and didn't try to upsell or fix something that wasn't broken. They understood my limitations and did what was in my best interest. No fearmongering. The wonderful lady at the front desk was always helpful and got me in when I had a dental flare up. I can't tell you how much weight it took off my mind knowing I had a good DDS practice to go to I could trust. I didn't have constant anxiety about it. But now they don't take my insurance anymore, and I can't afford or don't qualify for the kind they take. I am literally in tears and having panic attacks, scared if any dental issues come up. I wish they still took my insurance. I have no idea what I will do. I am so distraught and full of sadness. read more

I really like this office because the dentists are very gentle and honest. I've had both Dr Robin and another doctor work on me for a crown because I had a massive 30 year old filling that needed to be removed and I had a great experience. I came here because they accepted my insurance and I'm assuming many others which is why wait times are so long. I've waited at least an hour every time I've been. The reason for my review however is a root canal I had done here. This was my first and only root canal and It was still bothering me a month after it was completed so I went in to have it looked at. Dentist said the root canal was so deep it was going to take a long time to heal even up to a year...oh, didn't know it was deep okay. Fast forward over a year, I don't have dental insurance anymore and had to go to a different dentist. Root canal tooth still bothering me. New dentist showed me the tooth on the x ray and the cap is crooked at the top which is why it is still bothering me. $800 down the drain, I will have to have it redone at some point. read more

I first came to see him in serious pain, needing a root canal. Dr. Songhorian was able to alleviate my pain completely! He also did my teeth cleaning! His staff is excellent. I found Smile Design Dental because they take my Delta Dental Insurance, and I am very happy to recommend Dr. Songhorian and his fine staff. It's easy to book an appointment with the friendly receptionist, get X-rays done by an efficient technician, and get your teeth cleaned with the latest technology. I had a wisdom tooth extracted yesterday. After the 2 gentle shots of painkiller took effect, it was amazing how a few short tugs by Dr Songhorian had the tooth out with no discomfort. The office is hygienic during this time and I felt so comfortable! I came in for a dental cleaning and x rays which was actually a new machine I haven't experienced before. It was much more comfortable than the usual procedure.
