We'll, back to Dr. Ramin Homenfar, DDS, I truly understand all his continuing education throughout the years to be able to loffer, only the very best to his patients. For myself & my family he & his staff have been more than incredible. And always, the best~of~the~best. I understand that some people are probably on a dental plan that only covers teeth cleaning & perhaps on a fixed incomes. So, I consider the source, with both empathy & compassion. The recent process of dental work that I have had recently has left me looking for another dental office. During my visit in September 2025, I was informed that my bridge was 'failing' and in addition I had a cavity underneath a crown, and in addition to that, an adjacent tooth had to be removed. To me, as a lay person, this sounded like a tremendous amount of work and cost. I felt the office manager or Cercek should have sat down with me and gone over various options. However, I was only given a referral to an oral surgeon for implants. Implants did not seem to be a good option for me after having an appointment with the referral dentist. Aside from the exorbitant cost, the x-ray showed that I would need a 'sinus uplift'. The oral surgeon did not even bother to discuss the fact that I have periodontal disease and how that can sometimes complicate issues and even having the implants 'fail'! On my own, I researched other options such as a partial denture. I was very disappointed that no information or options were given to me by the office. I, again, had to research on my own what would potentially be my reimbursement from the insurance company because Cercek is out of network. I only had $825 left for 2025. In 2026, the maximum reimbursement would be $1,500. Because I did the research, I decided to split the dental work that needed to be done over December 2025 and January 2026. I made an appointment for December 17, 2025 and another for the partial on January 14, 2026 shortly after the September visit. I later found out (at the 17th appointment) that a minimum of 6 weeks is required for healing. From the 17th of 2025 to the 14th 2026 is only 4 weeks! My appointment was moved up one week to the 10th of December, but even still that is not 6 weeks! From my researching, yet again, I found out that healing can take up to 3 months. The fact that the office didn't take the time to help me in scheduling is a gross neglect! Back in 2011 I had the adjacent tooth pulled, the oral surgeon packed the gum with cadaver bone and put in a couple of stiches. The tooth that Cercek pulled had bone loss, and I even asked if there would be bone filled in, and the answer was no with no explanation. No stiches either. Why would I go in for a measurement for a partial denture when my gums/mouth are not completely healed. That makes no sense. So, I called to cancel my appointment for the 14th and to relay these complaints to your office manager. I was told she was in a meeting. Did not receive a call back, so called again and was asked if I could be put on a 'brief hold', which I did. 10 minutes after being on hold, I hung up. Called back yet again and was asked 'what is a good time that the office manager could call you back.' Very, very poor customer service. And this is not even the whole story, but that would require a very very lengthy review.

The young adult just got rolled out in a wheelchair 15 minutes ago. Another parent just came in with their child (1110am) and they advised them to come in 45minutes ?! This is absolutely ridiculous ! Finally at 1127am... Follow up response owner asking me to call -- Why should I waste more of my time for you to improve ? It's called communicate with your patients honestly, better scheduling and don't stack appointments back to back. No one apologized for the extremely long wait or offered us to leave and come back as someone offered that option to the patient scheduled after us.

I had crown work done that has caused ongoing discomfort and repeated issues. Crowns have come loose/fallen off, and I have difficulty flossing due to excess cement between and behind the teeth. After seeking a second opinion with new X-rays and a CBCT scan, I was informed there were concerns regarding the crown placement and cementing, including that one crown had been placed incorrectly. I was also informed that two root canals previously completed at Gentle Dental showed abscess/infection  and I was referred to an endodontic specialist for possible retreatment of work I had already paid to have done. I have spent months trying to resolve these issues directly with the office and resolution department. During the resolution process, I was presented with an agreement stating that in exchange for reimbursement, I would agree not to post negative reviews or pursue complaints with the Dental Board. This was difficult for me because the amount offered was far less than the estimated cost to correct the dental issues, including treatment estimates provided by their own office that were more than double the reimbursement amount offered. This entire experience has been physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting. I am still hopeful this matter can be resolved professionally and fairly.
