Edit: this place is very good. From the moment you step in until you leave, you feel taken care of. They will let you know upfront how much it will cost you with your insurance. The wait time is minimum. The chair has a heater and the massager! The hygienists are super nice and explain every steps. The doctor came and explained every and definitely try to find ways you can save money. And as you leave, they explain how much your future appointments will cost which was very helpful. 10/10 would recommend to others

When I was unable to get a cleaning appointment for several months, I decided it was time for a change and made an appointment at Dental Health Care of Woburn based on a recommendation...this has probably been the best recommendation I have ever received! I was able to get appointments for me and my children with no wait. I have mainly dealt with Chanel at the front desk and I can not say enough about how wonderful she has been. She is very friendly and knowledgeable about insurance plans etc. All of my questions are answered right away and she is very prompt on getting back to you if there is something she does not know right away. Every staff member I have come in contact with has been friendly and professional. The hygienists do an excellent job at explaining everything they are doing and offer great information about aftercare and follow-up needs.

They called several times to get ins info and to change my appt time. Interestingly enough, they never mentioned bringing in an ID. As I don't drive, I did not have my driver's license with me. Gaslit me and questioned whether I actually had insurance. After I called Delta Dental to re-confirm it, I asked secretary if she'd be willing to call Delta to confirm. She wouldn't even do that. I even mentioned that I was under stress because of having a kid due in a couple days, and they were even ruder! During the cleaning, the hygienist was quite rough and I was poked several times, which hurt. The appointment also ran much longer than expected, so my parking expired and I had to leave to move my car, and overall the visit took so long that I missed lunch and was extremely hungry by the end. After I returned, additional imaging was done by another assistant, which again took a long time and was uncomfortable because she took so many tries. While the dentist apologized and explained new patients usually take longer, it overall wasn't very reassuring. The whole experience felt so poorly managed. I left feeling sore, hungry, and stressed, and came home in tears. Because of this experience, I just can't return.

They are fast, efficient, and the hygienists and dentists are all very kind. However what puts them above and beyond is what they did for my wife who also goes here - she had horrible dental experiences as a child and it is remarkable how little she fears getting work done by Dr. Vasilakis and her team. They are very understanding and supportive such that despite having to wait for insurance reimbursement (I do not blame them for this insurance companies are bastards) I don't think I'll go anywhere else.

We got there got seen almost immediately. We did not wait long. The whole team is exceptional, from Gel at the front desk, to Lisa the hygenist. Brachowicz at her Belmont office (another $200) that the tooth now had to be removed. And while that news was stunning...when I was told I should have deep scaling done TODAY, I about lost my grip. He assessed that he couldn't do the root canal bc the crack in my tooth was too deep, so they got me an appt immediately with an oral surgeon. All through the process they were always putting my needs first. My experience overall with Excel (who I've been seeing since 2012) has been similar -- they genuinely care and they never try to sell you on procedures you don't really need like some other dentists I've been to, and don't try to run up the bill with unnecessary procedures. Also the receptionist is amazing -- she was the one who got things moved around so I could be seen quickly, and she even called after the tooth extraction to see how I was doing. When I reached the office's voicemail at 16:50 on a Friday, I left a message requesting a return call. Since the following Monday was a holiday, I didn't expect to hear back until Tuesday. When I didn't, I called and reached a young woman who asked me if I was hoping to make the appointment for myself. Dr. Hanna only treats children, she informed me. However, MassHealth's dental directory search data lists him as a general dentist who works with patients aged 18 to 65. In my experience, dentists who treat adults also see pediatric patients, with the only exception to this being children who need to be sedated during treatment. She made no mention of having received a voicemail from me that she hadn't gotten around to replying to. I made sure to tell her to have MassHealth correct its directory data. The receptionist's Spanish accent and use of "aks" instead of "ask" made it seem like she might be an imposter, part of a group who stalk and harass me, preventing me from getting medical and dental care, being treated fairly in job interviews, etc. They intercept my calls to businesses and have their overly-regionally-dialected or unusually-surly people give incorrect information to ensure that I can't get whatever service I'm in need of. If you know who they are, please let me know. But, you may also want to avoid Dr. Hanna because his office staff doesn't return calls from prospective patients, and he may only perform pediatric dentistry. Also, a Yelp ad for a Dorchester office location he supposedly practices from was missing a comma that should have been placed after the D.D.S. suffix.
