I've been taking my kids for the past year when it was originally Kimodontics. When the change came to Win, Doctor Mai has been a great Orthodontist to both my kids, but between the office messing appointments, and claiming my wife's insurance isn't accepted and we would be forced to go to their South Rainbow location. Upon hearing this I admit at first I was alright with it, but then I kept being given wrong times and forced to re-schedule and when I had to re-schedule during my kids Spring Break, the inconvenience of being told I could bring them in Monday the 24th at 8:30am due to them already being seen by Doctor Mai. Overall I will say Doctor Mai is very understanding and straight forward, but I just don't feel it is right to be forced to another office location due to insurance when it is the same exact Doctor. 4 Stars is due to the office staff making mistakes on scheduling and yes I had to personally re-schedule, but I always called in advance to re-schedule if needed. I just do not think it is fair to tell me I have to bring my kids to the Rainbow location and then come to find out they do not open until 9am. I was sitting in the parking lot at 8:20am and when I saw 9am I was upset and left. The office attempted to apologize and even said they did not understand why I was being told to go to the other location just yet as I had not started phase 2 of any treatment plan. read more

Dr. Kim, Terry, Irma and the rest of the team are so very patient with my always behind schedule schedule, they still always squeeze us into their busy schedule. I have three girls that all needed braces and all needed phase one at an early age due to crazy alignment issues. Two of my kids are done with phase one and with lost/broken retainers and other issues that are kid created, the Dr and team have been amazing and overwhelmingly understanding. I've been going to Dr. Kim and her wonderful staff since around seven years ago for all my alignment needs. They are by far the most caring and professional group of people that I have had the pleasure to meet and be helped by. I initially began going to Kimodontics in middle school for braces and received nothing but the best care. In the span of some three or four years, I ended up with an amazingly straight smile. From Day 1 going to my consultation about 2 years ago, Dr Kim and her staff have been the best medical professionals I have dealt with in Las Vegas. I was referred to Dr Kim by my oral surgeon as my surgical plan was to have braces for about a year, surgery somewhere in the middle and then braces for another year or so. Terry made multiple calls to my insurance company and went out of her way to coordinate my coverage. I have never waited more than 5 minutes (if that long even) past my appointment time which is a HUGE plus in this town! It seems any other doctor I have to go to for myself or my kids has me in the waiting room for an hour because they double & triple book! Dr Kim has been excellent through the whole process going the extra mile communicating with my surgeon and reaching out to other surgeons for their opinions regarding some post-op issues I've had. Every time I get in the chair she remembers exactly where we left off last time and I feel that she's truly invested in my care. I could not recommend Dr Kim and her staff more! I'd give 10 stars if I could. My only regret is not knowing of her when my kids got their braces on almost 4 years ago. Dr. Kim is amazing! I originally got my braces years ago in high school by a different orthodontist. I am a freak about wearing my retainers every night but while renovating my bathroom, my retainers were thrown away by mistake. I couldn't remember who my original orthodontist was so I frantically did a google search to find a new one. I am so happy I found Kimodontics Orthodontics! I called and asked about a retainer consultation. They were able to see me the same day. Coincidentally, Dr. Kim's dad is my dentist! What a small world. They are such wonderful people. The office is located in Summerlin. A bit far for me but totally worth the drive. The decor is awesome! I'm a big fan of purple and love the fact that the walls are that color. The furniture and wall art was great too. She has a lot of nicknacks laying around that are super cute! Totally child friendly but not overdone. I've been to some offices that make me feel like I am walking into a kid only zone. I am totally in love with whoever designed her office! When I came for my first visit, Dr. Kim explained the different options I had along with insurance and financing. She had me sit down in her therapy style consultation chair where she examined my teeth. I chose to get the clear retainers (top and bottom). They did the fitting that day and I came in 2 days later to pick up the retainers. They did a great job. The retainers fit perfectly and was comfortable to wear. Dr. Kim and Irma went over instructions on how to care for them and set me up for follow up appts to make sure everything was okay. I came in for my 1 month eval and then again for a 3 month evaluation. I still can't get over how nice Dr. Kim and everyone there is. From the moment you walk in, they greet you with such kindness. Dr. Kim gave me a huge hug and wished me the best during our last evaluation. She is so sweet!!!! Oh and they also have fresh baked, warm cookies at the front desk! Let's start back in May 2018 when I initially came into the office for a consultation... I expressed my concerns and made it very clear that I wanted my gap in the front as well as my gaps on the side (from previous flossing cavities being filled) CLOSED. I also made Dr. Kim aware that I had braces when I was younger (middle school), & the issues that arose back then, as far as my midline being off centered once my gap was closed & having to wear a rubber and across the front of my mouth to fix it. Before I could start treatment I had a couple of fillings I needed to take care of. In the meantime I was sent a quotation for both Invisalign & clear traditional braces. Fast forward to October 2018, when I returned to the office after getting the necessary fillings before treatment. I was still undecided on whether I wanted to get the Invisalign or the clear traditional braces, because of the midline issue I expressed prior. Dr.Kim actually suggested that I get the Invisalign because she was "positive" that she would be able to correct all of my issues & she would be able to add elastics in the event that my midline was off centered again. So I paid half the cost IN CASH & set up a 10 month payment plan to cover the remainder. December 2018, I received a set of 10 Invisalign trays (with an approximated completion date of early May 2019). I was scheduled out 6 weeks for a progressive follow up appointment. Everything seemed to be moving along nicely, as my front gap was closing more & more.... Fast forward to March 2019, I started to express my concern with my gaps on the side not closing AT ALL! Dr.Kim suggested she'd "put some bumps" (her infamous BS line ) in my trays to help close them up. April 2019, I'm on TRAY 9, still expressing my concerns about my gaps on the side NOT BEING CLOSED & my midline is now off centered like I mentioned earlier.... So this time Dr. Kim says 3 of my teeth weren't "tracking" properly. So she pushed me back to Tray 6 "added some bumps" ‍ & put some slits in my trays to allow me to wear elastics. At this point she changed my progressive appointments from 6 weeks to 2 weeks. I called the office (April 2019) asking if I could be switched to braces, as I felt the Invisalign was not working as far as closing my gaps on the side... Dr.Kim declined, stating she was MORE THAN POSITIVE that my gaps on the side & my midline would be corrected in 2 months (June 2019) & if they weren't, she would put braces on at no additional cost. May 2019, my midline is centered, but my gaps on the side seem to be opening up more rather than closing. I expressed this her at my appointment. She took a look and ACTUALLY AGREED!!! Stating she didn't know why that was happening & once again , she'd "put some bumps" in my last 2 trays to close up the gaps. She's also "reassured" that she'd probably have to go ahead and put the braces on if they did not close by my next appointment (3 weeks out). June 27, 2019 I get to my appointment with (YOU GUESSED IT) the same concerns about my gaps on the side, thinking I was gonna be put in braces, as Dr. Kim stated at my previous appointment. But no, instead, I got a lovely speech on how she's "going out of her way" , I should just "be happy" that my front gap is closed , if she's puts braces on, it's gonna move other things around , she's doesn't think I'll be satisfied even if she puts braces on , I'm taking advantage of her (HA! THAT ONE REALLY BLEW ME ‍) & a slew of other things. All while talking in at an obnoxious volume for her small office setting & then offering to give me a refund so that I could go elsewhere! So I completely agreed to that REFUND, as I had wasted enough of my time under Dr.Kim's terrible substandard inadequate care. But it didn't end there!!! I'm guessing she took a couple of minutes to herself after her pathetic temper tantrum & actually approached me insisting that I have a seat so that she could put braces on me. Of course, I declined & made it very clear that I NO LONGER FELT COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH HER! She bypassed that and still insisted, but I stood firm in my decision to move for with the FULL REFUND! She then stated, "well actually, I have to take my lab fees out & you can have the remainder". I LEFT WITH MY FULL REFUND!!!! read more

Simply put, Kimodontics is phenomenal!! And I mean it! It's been 2 years since I've been seeing Dr. Kim and the staff and they're consistently above and beyond. When I first decided to get braces, I had many concerns because of my age and my job dealing with a lot of guests on everyday basis. I went to several different orthodontists before I tried Kimodontics. They were all very disappointing. They didn't care about me and were only interested in making money. One orthodontist sent me to a periodontist for a treatment before anything which I later found out wasn't as necessary. (They must take commission!) With all the concerns and doubts from my bad experiences with other orthodontists, I decided to check it out. WOW! I wish I had known Dr. Kim's existence earlier! Dr. Kim's office is the best orthodontist I know! Her staff is so friendly and a big shout out to her office staff especially Terri and Irma who are kind, professional and personable. My braces have been out for 15+ years and I still maintain with removable retainers. Dr. Kim replaced my retainer and the experience was great! The quality of the retainer is quality and not flimsy (not like some other ones I've had in the past). I usually dread the mold making process, but it was a piece of cake with Irma's excellent skill.
