I completely understand the hesitancy to prescribe narcotics in these times. However, they should at least be an option as a last resort. I got all four wisdom teeth surgically removed this morning, and left the office with nothing to help for the pain but ibuprofen. I suffer from migraines so OTC pain medications do absolutely nothing for me. For the first 8 hours after my surgery I was in absolutely agonizing pain, as I have a low pain tolerance and sensory processing issues. I couldn't move my mouth or ever my head/neck at ALL. I couldn't eat or drink like you're supposed to after sedation and surgery. The pain is finally starting to go down a bit but is still severe, and not i'm dehydrated from not being able to eat or drink at all, all day. My grandmother called the office to tell them just how awful it was and they basically said "oh well that's your problem not mine." I have no history of drug abuse, I've never even taken narcotics before. I did disclose to them that I smoke marijuana to help with my migraines. The stigma around that could have possibly contributed to this but even then, they are medical professionals. They should be more educated about cannabis and the stigma surrounding it. If you're autistic/ADHD/have any sort of sensory issues that mess with your pain tolerance, don't go here. At least not for oral surgery. He had an appointment for a consultation for tooth extraction, o e of his workers accompanied him so they could read the forms for him. "Dr. Jackson" decided that I need to be his legal guardian. I am not his legal guardian nor does he need one. so next time I accompanied him along with his worker, this is a second 2.5 hr trip. We discussed the fact that he did not have nor need a legal guardian. He also stated he needed a a healthcare proxy, a legal document. This was a surprise to me, a long time nurse who has done hundreds of hcp's in my career without benefit of legal certification. Now we have an appointment for extraction. I called 3 times before making another 2.5 hr trip that we were set. Surprise!, he wanted a consultation - not that day because he did not like his signature. I would never recommend this place for anything, especially for a tooth removal. For my surgery, I had to find all the pre-surgery information myself. They were supposed to give me a paper listing all the instructions for before the surgery but they didn't. They lady on the phone apologized and told me that "they would give me a call before the surgery to go over it anyways," which they never did either. I had to go with what I knew because my husband had this surgery at another place before. I mean, I would say that not having anything to eat after midnight and bringing someone to drive you home after surgery is an info that comes handy (just saying). These people also never called back to check on me see if I was okay after surgery or to provide further instructions as other hospitals do. Trust me, I have had many procedures so I know what I am talking about, and FYI, I had not only one, but four wisdom teeth removed at the same time so I believe this is not to be played with. When my husband had it, the hospital called the next day to find out how he was doing with medication etc. On top, they prescribed me a medication that was doing nothing for my pain so I was in real pain and did not know what to do. Also, after two weeks I was still experiencing severe pain on my jaw and behind my ear and called in for a followed up. Not only did they scheduled me for the end of the following week, but also on my way to the appointment (FYI I had to use my break from work to go to this apt and I work in another country), I found out by my GPS they are closed at the time my apt was schedule, so I called in and they informed they had moved me to 30 mins before my apt. and no one informed me. This is how professional they are! After I had to pull off in the middle of the highway so I didn't go any further, this lady informed me that the next apt for me would be a week after (remember, I'm experiencing severe pain from a procedure they performed). They scheduled me for that next available day, and a day before my appt. they called and left a voicemail saying "unfortunately the doctor is not going to be here until next week so call us so we can schedule you again" oh really? So basically, the pain that I explained was experiencing was not important for them. Mind you, my husband had just a little discomfort after his surgery in another hospital and as soon as we call the doctor wanted to see him and make sure everything was fine. This establishment is bad!!!! It took me over a year to get a set of dentures through them. Very difficult to schedule appointments and EVERYTHING took at least 3 weeks. They took advantage of people that need help that are on Medicaid! People are down on their luck and they just step all over you! PLEASE do yourself a favor and never go here!!! I didn't learn my lesson the first time, I recently dropped my top denture on the floor and cracked 2 teeth. The lady that does their dentures told me that it would take 1-2 weeks. I was kind of ok with that. I walked out to schedule my appointment and they told me she was wrong. The people that sir at the desk told me 3 weeks. I was really unhappy about this but made the appointment. This was on Friday towards the end of the day. They then called me and told me that they changed my appointment and now it's going to be a month. I listened to the message at 6pm on Friday. My son was supposed to have an appointment in December. In November, we were told they were no longer taking his insurance and we had to switch to another provider, which we did. The office only has appointment during school (and work) hours. My mother took him to his last appointment, in which they sent my son home with a HANDWRITTEN invoice, stating he needed to come to his next visit with over $1,000.00. In December he was to have another appointment, however, the doctor would not be in and they needed to cancel. The office informed me they would call me to reschedule once the doctor returned. Weeks past, no call. I reached out to the office, to my surprise it now only goes to an answering service. The answering service let me know the next available appointment for my minor son to be seen for the braces in his mouth would be 6 months later! I let the person on the phone know, he has broken pieces in his mouth cutting him, and I was also calling to inquire about the handwritten bill. I was to get a call back about the broken pieces, never did. I called over, and over again. The fourth or fifth time I demanded to have a call back within 24 business hours or I would go to BBB to let others know how my sons been treated.... No call - that was April. My son's appointment is June 15th. TODAY (June 6th) I get a text message from Smile Krafters informing me his insurance (they had me switch) is no longer covered. I called, again going to the answering service to only be told, he DOES NOT have an appointment AT ALL! Again..... I let Smile Krafters know my son has BROKEN PIECES CUTTING HIS MOUTH SINCE JANUARY. He was to get his braces off this month, and now NO APPOINTMENT. So, no broken pieces fixed, no adjusting done, no cleaning, no even glance from a doctor. He has had metal in his mouth unattended for 6 months, and now no record of the upcoming June 15th at 2pm appointment I have a reminder for..... They called me this morning telling me the dental hygienist wasn't going to be in and that I had to re schedule my appointment for my teeth to be cleaned when I have major tooth pain and need cavities filled. I've been trying to see Ursula for an adjustment to my bottom dentures and not once, not twice, but three times after being on hold for 30 + minutes to speak to someone about confirming my appointment I later then get a phone call with a receptionist informing me tha Ursula's schedule is "changing" was from Thursdays going to Fridays then back to Thursdays then once more to Wednesdays and today I got a bit so surprising phone call claiming that once again Ursula's schedule is changing and my appointment that's been made for well over 2 weeks is once again going to have to change! Imagine the frustration and irritation that none of the receptionists seem to know what the availability is for the ONLY dentist that is specialized in dentures! I've had such an awful experience with this office. I had been trying to get an appointment with them for so long, it was ridiculous. Finally they set an appointment for me for oral surgery. I went in and had six teeth removed by IV sedation. The pain was unbearable after the procedure and when trying to call the office multiple times they never ever answer. They had given me an instruction sheet and what to do after the surgery and if it was an emergency to call the number that was listed. I called the number and it's not in service. My gums are throbbing so bad and this is 4 days later, migraines everyday and my jaw hurts so badly. Terrible, terrible experience. Had a consult scheduled for my son. My appointment was scheduled for 3 pm. The day before, I was called to see if we can come in earlier because the doctor had to leave early and asked if we can come around 2:15-230. I pulled my kids out of school and came to the office. We arrived at 2 pm. I didn't get paperwork to fill out for 30 mins. 5 minutes after that we were called for x-rays then brought right back to the waiting room. I am now STILL here waiting to be called in for a CONSULT! We are now 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment and waiting one hour and 15 minutes with no answers!!!! Finally got in at 332 and the consult was 3.5 minutes. So came back a second time... This is the only place that accepts my sons insurance. Of course had to come for consult again. Explained to them I was hesitant due to my previous experience. The woman assured me changes were made and I wouldn't have the same problem again. I made the appointment for noon the following day. I did arrive early so I will not include that in my wait time I waited 1 hour and 13 minutes for a consult. I repeated asked the hold up was and was told the doctor had an emergency. We finally get brought back and our consult was 2 min and 52 seconds. Needless to say I was pissed I scheduled for the oral surgery in a couple of weeks for 9 am. Well here I am now at 930 and the doctor just showed up. This would explain the delays in patients. This is a 25 min or less surgery. I was just removed from the room so they can start sedation. How do you schedule appt if the doctor doesn't plan on showing up on time?!!!! Let me guess he had an emergency!?!!! The worst part is it's a really clean, nice office. It's unfortunate the office staff have to end up dealing with angry people like me. The funniest part is they called me the day before to confirm and let me know there is a 48hour cancellation policy or you would get charged $150. I WOULD NEVER PAY THAT. I have lost more Money sitting here waiting here and should be charging them all my waiting time. We are up to almost 3 hours in total of waiting time. read more

Rude, loud, doctors lacking bedside manner but great cleaning... My teeth are great, so all that's needed is a cleaning and I cannot speak to other services they have. My teeth hurt a bit after this last cleaning, but at least I didn't get strep throat like the first time I was there. The staff at the desk (front desk and checkout) are rude and the doctors come off with minimal bedside personalities and seem bothered with my questions. The people who have cleaned my teeth are more polite and conversational and willing to help out with questions and concerns you may have. The waiting area and facility is nice, clean, but loud. I usually have to wait to be helped at the desk and then they throw paperwork at you. When you are taken to the back, there are no doors on the rooms and you can hear EVERYTHING that is happening with other patients- TVs, drills, machines for cleaning teeth and making appliances- this adds to the normal anxiety of going to the dentist. I was also called four times to confirm my appointment. The last call was 30 minutes prior to the appointment and I was driving to it; not to mention I had already called them back to confirm the appointment with the two voicemails they left (like they said to do- when I called they were rude on the phone and asked why I was calling to confirm) and talked to someone the other time). I understand making sure people show up for appointments, but that was annoying and frustrating, especially when they rudely asked why I called them back. They also say they take X-rays every six months, and "we make it work out and don't charge if your insurance only pays for it once a year". I got the X-rays the second time just to make sure my teeth are still cavity free, and I better not be charged for the X-rays. They processed the night guard request with my insurance in a timely fashion last visit. Fluoride treatment is not covered under my insurance and costs less than $50, so I have no problem in doing that preventative treatment, which I requested. A night guard is not covered under my insurance, and I need it, so it'll eventually be another trip there and $500 out of pocket. They make suggestions for treatments, so ask a lot if questions so you can make an informed decision! All in all, I will eventually be going elsewhere. But for now, the location is close. This place is the worst I've ever seen personally. When I had my oral surgery done something wasn't correct on my post op prescriptions and myself as well as the pharmacy had to make numerous calls to them to get the issue fixed and it took them over a week to make it right. I wound up having to go to urgent care to at least get the antibiotics especially bc I am high risk due to a heart condition and the antibiotics were the most important. My daughter also goes here and has had nothing but issues with them as well. When she got her wisdom teeth done they messed up on sewing the stitches and wound up sewing the side of her mouth. We live almost an hour away and my daughter works 2 jobs and it's hard for them to schedule around her jobs so she has to take PTO to make her appointments and numerous times now they have canceled her appointment but didn't let her know that until she got there and they would say they called to confirm but bc no one answered they canceled which we would have zero missed calls from them ! Then of course after canceling her appointments after she had to take PTO they don't reschedule until over a month or more away. They are very rude when we have tried to express our concerns especially when my prescriptions were all messed up bc I finally had enough of the nonsense and respectfully but strongly voiced how ridiculous it was to take that long for something that was a health risk for me not to have especially after it being their mistake to begin with the lady I spoke with was very rude and hung up on me. I do not recommend this place at all. We are currently trying to find somewhere else that takes my daughters insurance bc its nonsense what she's had to put up with . read more

This place has too many rules. Only 1 parent per child in room. ( i have 4 kids so this is impossible for me) they are ok with you leaving your 3 year old in the waiting room by themselves because they are so strict on this policy. The front staff isn't friendly or inviting. I will not be coming back here! The place looks nice but it is very deceiving. Staff isn't knowledgable either. They charge $35 per person if you are late or no-show. Regardless of reason. Don't come here. Not a friendly environment. As for your response, I think it would be beneficial if you inform your staff with what you just shared with me. I asked again and they said no you have to wait for this one person to do it (ok no problem), this person see's everything i have in my hand ( my wallet, my cross body sling , a clip board, loose papers, pen and my phone) and demands me to sit down, i replied i will once I'm done doing what mi doing you see I'm trying to get myself together and these papers she stares at me and say go have a seat i look at her and begin to walk away i turn back and asks for a supervisor the highest one now everyone disburse, i get told that the general manager is in a meeting i said no problem I'll wait, one of the receptionist then say you can leave she'll call you i replied I'm fine i can stay here i have nothing to do i waited 6 months for my teeth to get done and you all are mean lazy and unprofessional i want to talk to the general manager. the receptionist then greets me with an if you don't leave, I'm going to call the cops immediately we don't have to help you... My 13 year old, mute, autistic child was scheduled for a surgery with Jackson Nguyen. I was anticipating them being uncooperative. However, to my surprise, they were quite complacent, but timid about the procedure. However, when it came time for the IV, they were more hesitant. No temper tantrums, no negative behavior, just hesitant about giving the nurse their hand. The nurse left the room after about two, three minutes. Came back with the surgeon, Jackson Nguyen. Well, he immediately started lecturing them on how they had to have the IV and they were an inconvenience to his other patients who actually wanted their procedure done, and that my child's lack of acknowledgement meant that they did not want the procedure done and directed his staff to immediately refer them somewhere else. They start taking off the wires and throw a referral into my hand. My 13 is in tears after being lectured and told that they were an 'inconvenience' by the surgeon. He leaves the room telling us we have to leave. I am obviously upset and trying to coax my 13 into leaving. The surgeon can hear me talking, and turns around and says what? I said, had you been paying attention, you would see they were moving their hand to have the IV put in, but you would not stop talking and actually pay attention to them. He then proceeds to lecture me on how they were not cooperative and we were wasting his time and it was done and we needed to leave. I told him I was not dragging my crying 13 year old, autistic child down the hall and he was going to wait. He continues to go on and on and on. Then yells at one of his staff to call the POLICE to have us removed. He was flat out an uncaring, terrible person. Please save yourself all kinds of trouble and stay away! . am a very calm person, I don't ever recall having been rude to anyone in any way, it just isn't me. I'd rather excuse their rudeness in my mind and keep going as friendly as can be...until today. I'm going to review this place based on 3 visits, using bullet points to make sure I get it all and it's easy to read and understand. The end is way worse than the beginning. * First visit: I took my 23 year old daughter to their oral surgery department for a consultation. We stood at the counter for several minutes while the woman behind the counter performed her paperwork related duties without acknowledging us. When she finally did so, she handed us paperwork to fill out. I was irritated, but polite. My daughter's appointment was with a knowledgeable young doctor we quite liked. We left happy. * Second visit: The surgery appeared to go well. It was not the same doctor who'd given her the consult, it was a much older doctor. That's okay, older means experienced. * Weeks later: My daughter's lower jaw was still completely numb. Our dentist said the doctor probably nicked a nerve and it may stay completely numb for life. Fortunately, weeks later most of the numbness has faded, but some still remains and will probably always be numb. * The tooth that was exposed by the surgery to remove a sideways placed tooth was cracked in half and another surgery was needed. My daughter is of the belief that this tooth was cracked by the surgeon, but we don't know for sure because it did have a cavity in it. *Third visit: Another consultation. She had a 3:30 appointment. On the day of the appointment they called to say that she needed to be there by 3:15. I said that was fine, and figured it was a paperwork thing and hoped her previous paperwork would suffice, but we planned to be there by 3:15. .....*Construction, a missed exit, and more conspired against us and we arrived 2-3 MINUTES late. I sent my daughter in while I parked. When I got to the third floor she told me the receptionist had seen her arrive but had left the counter and walked off. A few minutes later the receptionist returned. My daughter gave her her name and the woman said that we were late. That the cutoff was 3:15 and because we were late we'd have to reschedule. It cost us (according to Mapquest) $10.30 in gas plus $6.70 in tolls and two hours round trip driving for this appointment and we were 12-13 minutes early for the appointment we'd made, and 2-3 minutes late for their new appointment time and THEY WOULD NOT SEE HER! They wanted us to reschedule. .....*I'm sorry, I was rude. I exclaimed (not loudly) that we'd driven an hour to get there, had gotten lost, were a few minutes late and they refused to see us! I turned my daughter around and we walked out, never, EVER, to return. 3 minutes late at the latest for their revised appointment time and they sent us packing. Read other reviews for this place and you'll see what I mean. These people behind that desk behave as if they are entitled and privileged and their station in life is well above everyone else's. I drove home in so angry, apologizing to my daughter the whole time, promising to find her another surgeon quickly. I stopped at my other daughter's home on the way. I'd vented to her on the phone as we were driving and she had dinner waiting, which went well with the grandchildren hugs. After a nice evening and long walk with the family, I was able to calm down enough to write this review without screaming it. The appointment was 3.5 hours ago, it took me that long to calm down. If you are looking at this office for service, I truly suggest you look elsewhere, or maybe take some Valium before dealing with them. And don't be 3 minutes late! read more

Absolutely LOVE this office, the doctors and the staff! We have a big family with big babies - and the dentists and staff there are amazing - from calming our 10yr olds nerves about a simple cleaning to the 37 yr old parent who was just as nervous for a filling! Love Dr. H , Dr. Soren & Dr. Bower! Practice is VERY ORGANIZED and informative - they give you a treatment plan with your co pay information (if u have insurance) so there's no hidden costs! I usually have Dr. Heisler and she has magic hands. I never feel anxious or uncomfortable when she's going to be caring for my smile. I hate needles, but she's very gentle and I have to say she's my favorite. I usually feel anxious about any visit to the dentist and in the last year have had to make multiple visits while fixing another Docs errors. They have helped me get my smile all cleaned up and did it all while making my comfortable and safe. The only negative experience I've had was a doc expressing his annoyance over my anxiety in the beginning days of my treatments with Smile Krafters. I didn't appreciate his attitude. However, one bad apple doesn't ruin the bunch. Every other Doctor that's cared for me has proven that I made a good choice in choosing this office to groom and care for my smile. Worse place to go to! Waited 8 months for an appointment and then I need a fill in for my tooth and she states she can't do it today because she needs to go home.? Like are you even taking your job serious? I would definitely give this place a half of a star not even.. I had a appointment set for two of my kids on Monday and I got all the way there pulled them out of school and my husband left work early and they closed.. didn't bother calling us and letting us know they were closing cuz of the storm coming.. then made appointment for today for 1p got there 10mins before and had to do paperwork which I figured but they never said u aren't checked in til the paperwork was handed in so needless to say we waited a hour til they finally called us back.. then when we got back the surgeon said he is not taking my sons wisdom teeth out they aren't ready.. so I said so his dentist is wrong and the orthodontist wants me to make a appointment after he had his wisdom teeth out.. he kept going on and on about him not doing them since it is not necessary and then saying he is gonna report my sons orthodontist because supposedly he had this problem a lot from them.. I then said ok forgot about my son please consult my daughter and he just kept going on about my son.. I had made it clear to him how unorganized the office was and everything I experience and when I again said ok please just see my daughter.. he plan out told me no.. so that made me mad I got up to take my paperwork for each my children which was not his it was mine and he had the nerve to stand up and pretty much try blocking me and telling me it's not mine and I can't have it sorry but I will take my paperwork that is mine not urs since u choice not to help us.. and I walked out with the paperwork.. To start, their phone system is absolutely horrible. All 3 of their options are useless. Call back option resulted in a call back 1 hour later, leaving a message did nothing at all, and please DO NOT wait on the line. You will never get through. It's so bad, I said to the receptionist, "Your phone system" and she responded with "it's crap. Yeah, we know." I had a 10 am appointment for my 16 year old son for obvious wisdom teeth pain. One hour and 40 minutes later, I ask whats taking so long. The technician says, its like that around here. When the dentist comes in, He sees my son for 3 minutes and refers him to a oral surgeon. I said, wow we waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for a 3 minute visit, and he response "casually and unapologetic", yup that's how it is here. They just lost a few patients. read more

Dr. Anil Shah was amazing with my son. He needed dental work including two root canals at age 6. I was so worried but Dr. Shah worked hard to put me at ease and really connected with my son. He sang to him during his procedure and at no point did he appear to be in any discomfort. I truly cannot recommend him and his team enough! read more

I am here now. I showed up 5 minutes late to my appointment and the office manager is refusing to allow me to be seen. I have an infection that can spread. I called multiple times prior to my visit to say I would be a couple of minutes late. The manager is refusing to give me the number to corporate offices or her supervisor. She only gave me an email to the legal department. She is also refusing to give me her name. This is the most unprofessional experience that I ever had in the medical/dental industry EVER.. Typical medical/dental companies allow a 15 minute grace period. I was under 10 minutes late and the dentist is still with the same client he waa with when I came in. I WOULD STILL BE WAITING. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! I AM A REALTOR & U. S. ARMY VETERAN... I Would like this lady reprimanded. She works for the clients and refuses to provide her name or her managers or corporate's information. I do not recommend anyone come here. This is my worst experience ever. She doesn't have any customer service skills and lacks professionalism and patience. She should be fired immediately!! She is a liability to this business and not an asset. Plan to lose allot more clientele. If she stays!
