Just had our house cleaned for move out. Was charged over 200$ for a two hour cleaning and the three maids were only able to clean half our kitchen and half our floors. They didn't get to most of the fridge or cabinets. No clue why they're so slow, and it seemed like they might have tried to run the clock. Didn't even clean the bathrooms, wood floors, baseboards etc. Don't use this service unless you have 500$ for a whole day of cleaning. read more

Wow! I found Smiley Maids on Angie's List and thought I would give them a try. They have different levels of cleaning, and I decided a thorough cleaning would be great since it had been awhile. I had 3 cleaners come out to the house and they did an amazing job! I asked them to spend extra time scrubbing my shower and it shined. I also asked them to clean my patio so that it was ready to use for summer and it was immaculate. I am very happy with the first service and look forward to next week when they come to clean again. I set up a contract for every other Saturday at 9:00. They persistently called wanting to reschedule the time or date. Very unprofessional management. But the cleaning ladies were pretty good. read more

Very unprofessional. They will quote you one price and charge you another. The lady cleaning my place did a decent job, but took 3 hours to clean an empty, 350 sq ft condo! And she didn't even need to vacuum. I will definitely not be using their services again, they are misleading and dishonest. read more

I give Smiley Maids a high mark for the work they do at the Animal Clinic I work at. I have been very satisfied with the work they do. I am very pleased to come in every morning and see that the floors in our lobby are nice and clean and free of stains,. Pet hair is no longer accumulated in the corners of our tiles and base boards. Trash is taken out every night and our fridge and microwae get cleaned out weekly. Our previous cleaning company we had was horrible and they are a big cleaning company at that but they did not seem to get the concept the we are a clinic and we require a clean facility. I found these guys through Angie's List where they have great reviews and I did not even look at Yelp before hiring them. I am really surprised there was only review on Yelp and that it was negative my experience was a complete 360 from the person who previously wrote a review.when I called in to make the appointment Regina was super sweet and was able to get in there within a couple of days which was perfect for my schedule. Since my first experience with them I have hired them on by weekly and I have never been disappointed they always show up on time everything always looks great when they leave they are very respectful when it comes to locking up my house and their prices are extremely reasonable. on one of the visits they were done earlier than the time I had requested so they actually asked us what additional work they could complete so that they were there for their entire time. Which I have paid for. one last thing to note is during one of the visits they did have a third person come because of training but they did not just send the third person she called in advance to make sure that I was ok with having additional person in the house which I really appreciated. When we sold our home and a rental property we use Smiley Maids several times; when we showed our home(s) while they were for sale and for a final cleaning when we moved out. They did an amazing job making our old homes looked better than I had ever seen them! These women are efficient and professional and don't miss a thing. Got their name thru Angie's List. Thought the first lady that came out was great! Spoke with her about how "next time" I'd ask for her, & she would know that she didn't need to lug a vacuum-'cuz I have one- & other things-She was PREPARED. But there couldn't BE a next time, 'cuz Next Time, I was told that they can't repeat the "deal" they gave me. They INSISTED that they had a 'Minimum' of 2 people for 2 hours for $80. My problem is that it's just a small studio; doesn't take 2 hours for ONE person to do. I Believe I paid $50 for 1.5 hrs w/the ONE lady. Didn't get ANY satisfaction when I needed them AGAIN. This company has refused to service my home because I have collectible items. It is frustrating that because you have a home that you want to fill with nice items that you enjoy they will refuse to clean your house because of the risk associated with breaking at item. When choosing them I let them know I had these items and that I was selecting an agency that had insurance against breakage and they have cleaned my home three times. When calling to request service today they said they will never come clean again because they are afraid they will break something. This is ridiculous and unprofessional, why should I be penalized for having quality items in my home and expecting reasonable care/reimbursement if something does get accidentally broken. The service of cleaning is adequate and the mother/son team does an amazing job but I'm frustrated by this policy and the change in service standards after 3 different cleanings! read more

As mentioned in another review, I was quoted one price (which I paid) and then after the ladies had already left, I received a TEXT telling me I owed them more $$$ (couldn't even be bothered to make a phone call). I questioned the additional charge and the response was quite defensive, and that I should just go on their web site and pay the additional $. The 2 person team did a nice job, but management ruined this experience for me. Very unprofessional - will not be using them again. read more

I had an empty rental house that needed to be cleaned on a Sunday (in-between being painted and having the new tenants move in.) I called several different cleaning companies only to learn that most do not work on Sundays. I left a message for Smiley Maids on Friday morning and received a callback on Friday afternoon. They were available to clean on that day and even let me know about a special they were having. On Sunday, Lupe arrived on time and got to work right away. She was professional, efficient and thorough, and had the house cleaned in less time than I anticipated. (The cleaning included the kitchen - range, oven & fridge, the bathroom, and the windows & floors.) The total cost of the cleaning was less than what I was quoted from other companies, and was a great value for the work that was performed! I will recommend this company to friends and will definitely call them again the next time I need house cleaning services. read more
