I saw inattentive teenage cashiers and a lot of dusty saddles in various stages of rot. There were some weird odds and ends, like a discarded Arabian costume saddle and multiple shelves of crusty bits. I might have bought a couple small grooming supplies but I don't give money to fascists. This store is the kind of place where once-useful equipment and basic human decency go to die.

The employees said they were now not allowed to help me as they have many times in the past. As I was slowly walking down the aisle with my two 65 pound dogs, a young male employee came running out from the cash registers, yelling into his phone as he dashed outside in front of us. He scared all three of us, almost causing me to fall. This is not the first time I've seen him totally out of control. I never saw my groomer who worked on both dogs. She wasn't there at check in or check out. The worst day I've had at Petsmart.

He was kind, courteous, and helpful. He helped me select fish that would work well together in my tank. I wanted live plants, and he helped with that as well. They didn't have enough of the plants I wanted, so he asked for my phone number so he could call when they were available. The next week, the plants did not arrive, so he called to make sure I did not waste time going to the store to check whether they were there. The following week, he called to inform me they were there. Upon my arrival, I watched him closely as he inspected the plants and picked the healthiest batch for me. That's above and beyond for me, and I notice things like that. Thank you, and hats off to "Jed"!

I wouldn't even give them a 1star but it wouldn't let me post with a star... One thing I learned from going through this is, I understand why these people work at Petco as veterinarians because they couldn't cut it in the real world. I believe they are only qualified to give vaccines and nothing else!!! This is the same place that mis diagnosed my dog 5 years ago...I should have known better!!!! Thank God my baby has survived this horrible attack, but she has a long road ahead of her....
