Recommended them to several of my friends. Boy was I wrong. My air conditioner stop working on a hot Friday night. So I called for service. They responded on Saturday, Their repair man took apart the entire system and after he checked inside and out he realized that we still did not have power. He then checked my circuit breaker panel and realized that one of my circuit breakers were loose. He made sure it was all the way over. His bill was for over 500 dollars. 150 for the service call. 200 dollars for Saturday and 175 dollars for electrical work??? What's worse was was the air conditioning system still didn't work. The owner Ward called me Sunday to let me know he would only send a repairman if I was willing to pay another 300 dollars for a part that his repair guy noted could be a problem plus another service call fee. Incredible A top notch Electrican came because the part his repairman said it probably was I could not buy in Home Depot or True Value. He required this piece to fix my unit (it is only there for the air conditioner company to shut the system from outside) Not needed My Electrican retired and could not fix it. He got a friend of his who knew air conditioning. It turns out that a wire inside the unit was disconnected. How did that happen? My wife has called BAM three times with no answer. Do not use them. Of course parts are under warranty but labor is not and their technician did not even find the problem, another company did. They have come and misdiagnosed my unit and another at a property I manage next door. They never own their mistakes. Even with a service contract they claim to have done a service when I was present and they did not do any scheduled service, only replaced a thermostat that cost $72 for $700. I have tried to speak with them and get a run around of rude people. I will admit my mistake, it was sticking with them for as long as I have.
