I've been going to my previous barber for years , then all of a sudden he was gone and went back to his home country , for 2 years I've been hopping form barber shop to barber shop sometimes having good results sometimes not , but I kept looking and looking , until I moved to Dorchester and found mike, he was in a different location on Adams street hands down he is the best barber in the Dorchester area, kind , pleasant, respectful, and very professional . He makes you feel welcomed and at home each time anyone walks in , although he is the only barber right now it's worth the wait and I never mind waiting, the wait is never long and his service is quick and professional and he always leaves you looking sharp. Went to get my haircut today from Mike based on a recommendation. I could not be happier. You can tell as soon as you walk in that Mike knows what he is doing. The place is clean and they have a large waiting room to hang out. He gets pretty busy, so it's a good idea to call ahead of time to make an appointment. Mike was really friendly and personable, and he definitely knows what he is doing with hair. I had my hair and beard done, which at $27, is super reasonable given the time and care he provides. I came out looking much better than when I walked in (my wife agrees). Anyway, I attached a before and after pic. For years I searched for a barbershop in the Dorchester/Quincy area but I was never happy with with the outcome on consistent basis. I've been to pretty much all of them. Then I walked through mikes door. He knew exactly what to do when I wasn't sure with what I needed. Every time I walk away from his shop I feel like a million bucks for weeks. Got another great haircut today at Smitty's barber shop in Dorchester Lower mills. City Legends moved right on the other side of the lights in Lower Mills and Mike changed the name to Smitty's. Great location lots of activity coffee shops restaurants and ice cream shops nearby. Absolutely worth the drive from Braintree Holbrook line.
