If you need a Smog test this is the place to go. Located in the east end of Ventura, between Johnson Dr and Victoria Ave. I live in Oxnard and it seriously just took me a few minutes to get to Smog 4 Less. Just exit Johnson Dr and make a quick left onto Ventura Blvd. It is right next to a BBQ place. The service here was second to none. The price was much lower then i paid for my last Smog Check. They gave me a couple of coupons that i will pass to family and friends. If you need a smog test this is the place to go. Plus they have ALL types of magazines to read while waiting. Also there are no hidden fees..the price I paid in TOTAL was $48 for my Escalade.. Well worth it for the service i got...thanks for all your help smog 4 less.. read more

i drive on ventura blvd almost daily for work when i noticed a smog test only shop that i hadn't noticed before. it is right next door to marshalls bbq. since i needed a smog test and go to marshalls pretty regularly i figured i would just have my car smog tested while i had lunch at marshalls bbq.. the customer service was top notch. about $15 less then my last smog check. If you need a smog test seriously look no further. This place was very friendly and organized. I have another car I need to have smog tested next month and i will definitely be going back to Smog 4 Less!!! read more

Recently visited Ben and his wife on behalf of my sister, whose car was in need of smog check. Ben and his wife went out of their way to accommodate our tight schedule (sister from Malibu; I was visiting from Oregon). Retest was needed after some minor adjustments. Ben was unflappable throughout, demonstrating kindness and patience rarely seen anymore. Cannot say enough good things about Smog 4 Less on Ventura Blvd. You will not find a kinder, more efficient, more conscientious, more ethical business person than Ben. well i hope my review actually shows up. after getting my car smog tested it was brought to my attention that yelp filters out most of the reviews if the business doesn't advertise with them. As for the people who complain about this business I think the problem is with your cars and not this business. and to robin who left a bad review if the service was so terrible why didn't you take your car to one of the other 17 shops. just saying was it really your car that was the problem and maybe not the business. I was recommended to this business by a co-worker. First let me say this is for a smog check, so right away most people aren't happy. But this business is ran professionally. The owners truly care about customer service. They are doing the job that State expects of them, while respecting the customers. Seemed really honest. Listening to them talking with other customers it is clear they have the customers best interest at heart. Very helpful smog test information. I was fortunate that my 2001 bmw passed,( it is getting older and things start to go bad) but even if it hadn't i would still give the positive rating because I listened to them explain to another customer why their car failed..they were very helpful. I received a coupon in the mail from Coupons & More and needed a smog test and decided to give this place a try. First of all the price was much less then other shops I got prices from. The people at the smog shop were helpful and friendly. They sent my smog tests results to the dmv for no extra charge. So the total price for my 1998 dodge caravan was $42.00.
