Quick and easy! Simple as that... nough said....okay I'm done.... Well, apparently what I said isn't enough to be considered a review. The place is a small establishment that has a few chairs that you can sit on while you wait for your car to be serviced. The woman who was working behind the counter was friendly enough. Smog 4 Less has been my go to spot for years now. They are are always so nice there and so quick!! I'm always out of there in less that 15 minutes. There are no appointments and it's a first come first serve basis. I don't mind that because I go during the week when all you suckers are working haha. read more

Picked this smog test location based on reviews here on Yelp. The owner/manager was polite and helpful. Price was comparable to other options around, but he was able to get my car and my wife's cars in and out fairly fast with no appointment. If you need a smog check, call first to ask about the line, but based on my experience you will have quick and professional service and be on your way before you know it. Now when you get to the DMV... that's a whole different story :) read more

I choose here because I wanted lunch at marshals bodacious bbq! I was told that there were two cars infront of me and to wait in my car. I thought that was a conscious suggestion because of covid. But then I waited over an hour. Finally he told me to bring my truck around. When I got in the bay he told me that his computer was off and the program was down. I waited for nothing. He turned me away and I went to Ace smog around the corner to get passed. This place is a waste of time. read more

I've always hated going to get my car smogged. It's usually such a hassle and inconvenience...until I took it to Smog 4 Less. They are awesome! Very accommodating, quick service, and they actually know how to treat customers. Joann, the owner is very nice and helpful. My SUV passed but they do offer a free re-test just in case. Check out their website for a coupon which will save you some $$$! FYI I had my SUV smogged and I paid way less than what my sister had to pay for her car to get smogged at another in town. If your car is unmodified (like untouched) and less than 5 years old -take it here, don't go there with pre-2000 vehicles (he wont do it) or even the slightest of modifications like aftermarket exhaust /air intake or shit even an aftermarket hood (where body shop didn't place engine ID sticker back on hood) he will fail it or not inspect it, save yourself the trouble and take it elsewhere. read more

Easy in, easy out. I have been going to Smog for less for almost 2 years now, I am an independent car dealer and will only go here for all my smog checks. It's great to go to a business that is operated by the owners and dealing directly with them for all services. Best prices in the area!! $42 for smog and certificate, in and out in approximately 15 minutes. The process is relatively simple: 1. Pull your car up the driveway. 2. Greet the owner and confirm what you'd like done. 3. Leave or give them the key so he can move it to the inspection area. 4. Walk to the waiting room or go take care of other business and return to a completed smog check. 5. When your vehicle is ready, the owner will read the report results to you and ask you to pay for the services. The smog test results are electronically sent to DMV. 6. Your vehicle will be brought to the front entrance. Simple enough? I WILL NOT GO TO ANY OTHER SMOG PLACE!! read more

We have been very isolated during COVID due to family member being high risk and so I was nervous to have a smog done. When I called to see how they handled things currently, they were very kind, didn't make me feel silly for taking extreme precautions, and explained their process. When I got there, there were two cars ahead of me, staff came out and explained where to park, etc. Things moved very quickly, I was in and out within twenty minutes and felt very safe, was able to sit outside while car was being smogged and I was the only one in the lobby when paying. I needed a Smog certificate and had been here previously a few years ago and had a good experience so went back. It was a rare rainy afternoon and after dropping off my car and going to get lunch they called me to let me know that my hood would not open for some reason. I went back and attempted to open it myself to no avail. They came out and helped me for at least half an hour but no matter what we tried couldn't get it. I was really happily surprised at how they were willing to help and do so happily even apologizing that I had to deal with this stuck hood latch. This is not something they get paid to do, and certainly did not have to help, but they did. I took the car home worked on it for some time and finally got it working. I brought the car back, they smogged it and sent me on my way. They were extremely nice about all of this and went above and beyond for me. Ok seriously, car guys don't come any nicer than Mohtaram. I get there and I'm immediately greeted with a smile and a "good morning". Invites me in to have a seat in the clean office after I walk through the clean and orderly shop, asks if I have any coupons (yelp gave me one which saved like $8 off his already way low price) and then says I'm next up and it'll just be 10-15 minutes. Good service, I needed my car smog tested, and they did just that. Decent price, friendly receptionist, and I was in and out in a timely manner. Tons of easy access parking, and a really good BBQ place next door. What I really liked seeing is that they support local artists. They have a bunch of large canvas printed photos decorating their walls from local photographers, which is something I love seeing. read more
