My first review and I'm glad it is a good one! From my experience, most smog shops have workers that are unattentative and seem shady in the way they do business, not this shop! I was welcomely greeted by the inspector, Haik, and in and out of the shop in less than 10 min. Apparently they have the newest tech in smog and didn't need to put my car on the rollers, so that speeded up the process. Haik was friendly and seemed very knowledgable when asked questions. He genuinely cared to leave a good impression and has a good sense of what good customer service is. Great service and a yelp discount, there's no reason to go anywhere else. read more

Professional, fast and friendly. This is the best smog check I've ever been to. Haik was the one who performed the check on my car, he finished the job in less than 15 minutes and made sure I had all the documents I needed to renew my registration. Next to the smog check place they have an auto repair shop and oil change place. I'm definitely coming back if my car has any problems in the future. Took two cars here today back to back, evidently President's Day is a slow one for smog checking so luckily there were no lines. The staff was not only fast and professional (they did two vehicles in perhaps 15 minutes total), but also helpful and quite friendly. What more can you ask for? Yes Sir, This is the place to go. I brought my 2006 silver ford escape to my man and he hooked me up. I sat down to look at a sports car magazine and in 5 mins he was done. Didn't ask me 1 question about my ride. All I heard was you passed, pay for the certificate and your keys are in the your car. If you bring a sandwich he'll probably be done before you finish it. Normally I am skeptical when I need a service done for my car because I have had some bad experiences but I am so happy I found Haik's auto shop on yelp!!! I went to go get a smog check without an appointment and he was very welcoming when I first walked in. Thankfully they weren't busy and there was only one person ahead of me so I didn't wait long at all. When he was doing the smog check for my car it only took about 10-15 min. They were great! Finding them is pretty hard, you have to keep your eye open since its located in an area where every other building is a car repair shop. I went on a Tuesday at around noon. There were 2 people ahead of me. I only waited for half an hour before they got started on my car. The guys working there were super friendly! It took about 20 minutes for them to test my car. It passed and all they needed were a couple of my John Hancocks and I was out of there. If you need a smog check, go here! Simple, cheap and to the point. read more

Based on other reviews I brought my RSX into Smog Zone this afternoon. It's first-come-first-served, but fortunately there was no other car in the bay. The operator is a very personable and polite young man who wasted no time getting my car inspected. This was by far the cleanest smog-test station I've ever been to. It's still a garage, but there was no dirt or the usual scraps that you find stuck to the bottom of your shoe at the end of the day after being in a garage for any length of time. He's been there 11 years, gave me $10 off on the service to boot. It's a little dicey backing out onto Oxnard, so the operator went out to the street and let me know when it was safe to pull out. That kind of service is very rare. Definitely the place to go. read more
