We do not live anywhere near Smoggers, and there are 20+ providers between us, but we will never go anywhere else. Last year, we had an absurd, extremely negative experience with an auto repair shop owner (one of those sketchy businesses that uses inexpensive smog check services as a loss leader to upsell and generate business), so I was determined to find a new provider, no matter the cost or distance. And from my extensive research, this is the only business in the valley with consistently glowing reviews, and for a very good reason! There are four clearly-marked bays in a large building; the two on the left for window tinting, then smog check services in the third bay, and the fourth and final bay for tires. This made it very easy to locate smog check services upon arrival. I am not sure if there is an indoor waiting area, but there is absolutely no shade until later in the afternoon. That can be challenging during the hotter months, but if you're here for a smog check, it's barely an issue since they're so quick. There was only one other vehicle that had just pulled into the third bay when we arrived on a Thursday at ~10:30AM, so we hung back. We were immediately approached by an incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming employee who began the smog check service promptly. The entire service was completed in approximately three minutes; that included the smog check itself, when they retrieved the print-out and card processing machine, and finally, payment. We were there for a total of FIVE MINUTES from the moment we entered the lot to our exit. Smoggers delivered fast, friendly service and more importantly, absolutely no nonsense. This was the best smog check service experience EVER. FYI: The smog check cost $25 and we were charged an additional $1 for using a credit card. read more

I live in 89128 and needed a late night smog check to renew my vehicle registration asap. At 9:25pm, I decided to roll down to Smoggers. They close at 10pm. Arrived by 9:40pm and one vehicle was ahead of me. Got smogged by Eddie, the nicest guy working at this time of night. This was the fastest and most pleasant and cordial smog check I've received in my entire adult life. We even chitchatted about our mutual love for Priuses and discussed window tinting ideas. $5 discount for checking in on Yelp also. What a fantastic deal and service. I came here for my smog test based on the great reviews, even though there were closer places near my home, and it was 100% worth it. Super awesome location and service, just purchased a used 4Runner (private party) for road trips and needed to get smog asap as my DMV appointment was the next day. Worried as it was later in the day, a quick Google search and I was there. Pulled up, super friendly Staff, we chatted about the vehicle and a whole lots of things. I felt welcomed. No queue as well. I was told to pull up, they popped my bonnet and ran their tests and visual inspections which I passed, paid and was on my way. Whilst all this was happening I should remind you that I got nothing but smiles and good, healthy, professional conversations. Now for the icing on the cake, this was about 6pm or so in the evening. Fast and great service. I had to fly down from Reno to get a smog check. I research all the smog places in Las Vegas, and this one appeared substantial and professional. I called in the evening and they were still open. They were open on the weekend. Charged me, I think $22. Automatically inputs my smog result into the Nevada DMV system.
