Efficiency at its finest. Roger had me in and out of there in probably 10 minutes tops. His room is ac'd so you can wait in there away from the heat. Inherently there's not a ton you can say when reviewing a smog check place since it's only a few minutes a year you even need to visit one. Honestly, I mainly started coming here because it is close to my home. However, I like this location because it's not just a kiosk, they also have an indoor waiting area. The service is friendly, and the couple times I've been I have always been offered water while waiting. On my recent visit, they were having connection issues with the DMV, so I unfortunately had to go elsewhere this time round, but they were really good at letting folks in the line know, and they tried multiple times to get mine to go through while providing water and some good conversation. read more

I left this experience feeling hurt and shaken. A worker treated me with noticeable hostility and dismissiveness, and as a disabled woman wearing an anti-ICE shirt, it felt like I was being judged and singled out rather than treated with basic respect. No one should be made to feel small or unwelcome for who they are or what they believe. This was deeply disappointing. read more

He did everything done less than 10 mins in and out and also if you got a yelp check in he will have you a free touch less car wash. I will coming back every year to this location and. Failed my car smog because of engine light, but My car always had Engine light on. If engine light is the REASON TO FAIL smog, then This rude Lady should have told me that My engine light will fail the smog PRIOR to running a smog test, INSTEAD OF the smog and telling my engine light failed the smog. I felt like I got scammed. I would avoid this shop because of this Lady who works in this shop, she is not very customer friendly. read more

The smog place at Desert Pit Stop delivers in spades. Always the friendliest people, and rarely a wait. Plus, you get a free exterior car wash at their car wash located right next to the smog check! Made the mistake of going to Haddie's smog express check since I was shopping at Lowes...Never again! They failed me because I was "missing" a piece that connects my car to their computer. Came to see Jenner at this shop and he confirmed that nothing was missing and the tech didn't do his job properly. Thankfully Jenner knows his car! We were checking YELP reviews and found this gem of a smog shop right in the neighborhood. We didn't need an appointment and Cody was so fast and efficient getting both of our vehicles smogged An added bonus was he also completed our renewal online with the DMV for an extra $10. They give you a complimentary car wash, so we thought why not get it out of the way. We also needed to bring our RV in and he offered to come in on a Sunday to get that done and work with our trip schedule. I don't think I've ever had such great service. They keep the office nice and cool, so no waiting in the heat. So glad we found Desert Pit Stop Smog. It really is a customer focused business. read more
