So, the Smoke Depot is under new ownership. My most recent visit felt different. The new lady/owner eyeballed me like there was a bad check and picture of me posted behind the register. Unfortunately, this fed into and gave validity to the stereotype of Indian from India people treating Black folks poorly. I tried to engage with questions (how I found out the place is under new ownership) and show some familiarity with the previous management and the store, but the fear/caution/disdain was palatable. I probably won't be returning to the Smoke Depot again. I'll get my gear online or at the headshop on Fitzgerald near Planet Fitness. Why three stars? Smoke Depot still has accessories and YMMV, especially if you aren't Black Like Me. Why bring race into it? Why do y'all nice folks always question the Black Experience when it comes to race, and a woman's experience when it come to rape. Do better. We said what we said and know from firsthand experience. EXTREMELY weird people around here , some lady just parked behind us blocking us ( around 7pm February 26th ) and then wouldn't even leave, the whole road to get into the parking lot was blocked by this twack of a human that thinks it's okay to block people in then not move... if I want to leave do not block me in you'll get my blood boiling . She literally got in her car to sit there.. i was waiting a good 5 minutes she went into the store came back out and just sat there never budged... Not their fault in the store that the location brings out the weirdos. Had to back up with my back up camera practically screaming for dear life she was so close, was able to get out with no issues whatsoever but that's not the point. What were you thinking person ? Obviously you weren't. It's very dangerous doing that especially in the area people don't play . You're lucky I'm one with patience you might not get so lucky next time with someone else in this area sweetie. Be careful & be respectful of other peoples boundaries and next time maybe park in a damn parking spot you lunatic! OH AND TO TOP IT OFF EVERY OTHER PARKING SPOT WAS AVAILABLE YES YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT AVAILABLE FOR HER TO PARK IN. Yet she chose to block me in. Always have the things my household needs for tobacco products, bongs , everything a weed smoker / blunt smoker needs here ( most of it anyways ). Pipes , bongs, papers, blunts, clothes , so much stuff to choose from come see for yourself ! :) would definitely recommend! ( I never purchase anything my mom does but I just come along with ) Frank used to own this he's no longer here but there's a very nice lady that works in here now. Very sweet to my mom me not so much they kinda just treated me strange compared to how they always treat my mom. Said hi to the younger lady and she just looked at me ? So I don't know what that was about ... the more I thought about it the more it puzzled me. Maybe since I don't go in there as often as her.. shouldn't be that way to your customers though. But they lowered the prices of my moms products she buys and all ! Recommend you to come here if you're purchasing the products if you go in with someone it's not the same. Smoke Depot was full of shit. I was coming there to get my Swishers single Swishers for two dollars each or you can get three for five dollars. I don't know what's going on with their family or whatever it is but one brother sells you three for five one day, I came in the next day for the same thing and the other brother told me no more three for five I had to pay six dollars. I come in again the next day and then he tells me no more single Swishers my son comes later on the same day and got me a single Swisher later on that night. So quit with the Fuckery. read more

Man oh man this place is terrible. First off It just Looks terrible, inside and out... Cheap signage, the storefront is a blight on the neighborhood...then you go inside and its just a hodgepodge of random crap... seems more like they just buy overstock and counterfeit stuff from overseas and throw it anywhere they want... Then talk about counterfeit, their vape products are cheap knockoffs that won't last you a week. There are better, more reputable shops where you can trust that the products will be authentic. In my opinion go elsewhere! read more

Bought an aloe grape Flum and opened it just find that the flavor wasn't similar to what I'm used to. After analyzing it I came to find that it was a counterfeit Flum. The packaging was slightly off and there was no manufacturer logo on it. I contacted Smoke Depot to let then know and the moment I said who I was and that I had been there the night before the woman who answered the phone hung up. I called back and she had disconnected the landline. I waited and called again and she finally stayed on the line and when I explained that it wasn't an authentic Flum she said it wasn't possible and then accused me of not buying my Flum at her store. I informed her that I had just bought it the night before and I had even called ahead of time to confirm that they had them in stock. She insisted that it wasn't possible and I let her know I have been vaping Flums for half a year and can tell the difference and that I just wanted her to check her inventory because someone else could experience the same problem. She refused to refund me and at that point I wasn't really looking for a refund I just wanted her to acknowledge that she had knock off inventory. Smoke Depot you lost me as a customer and I am appalled by your customer service and the shadiness of your staff. Smoke Depot has what the discerning smoker--of weed, tobacco, or cigars--needs to get the job done with style and effectiveness. Frey the proprietor can answer the questions of a novice and provide guidance to the aficionado with equal ease. The store is a cornucopia of goods (clothing, Christmas gear, charcoal, etc.) that ultimately makes sense in a random way and makes spending time there more likely than you'd think and very worthwhile.
