This place is open, BUT I went in to get a puff bar and she had me try the puff bar in the store…read morejust to make sure it works. I hit it once and it didn't work. I tried once more and it worked. I was just hanging out at Cutters Point just a few shops over and when I stepped outside to take a smoke break from homework it no longer worked. I went back to the store no more than 25 minutes later and the cashier refused to exchange it even though I bought it within the hour, was only next door, and it didn't work the very first time I tried it. The store had a sign up next to the Puff Bars saying no refund or exchanges after purchase. So take my advice and do not purchase your puff bars from here. They obviously do not work if they had to post a sign. Otherwise, the shop has a wide range of products to choose from. I just so happened to buy the only crappy thing in the store.

I haven't written a review for it prior and…read moreafter going in there it didn't seem familiar even though I remember it very well when I used to live in the area but I guess I passed it each time. So I guess I haven't been in every shop on 6th after all. The Hippie House has an impressive selection of glass pipes which I really enjoyed looking at and their gallery which was really impressive but that wasn't my purpose for coming in. I was looking for incense sticks and they indeed had some. It was brands I was not familiar with and that made me excited. The loose sticks was what I was looking at and they had a good selection of them with different fragrances and so I purchased a dozen of them. In addition I purchased a box of incense of a different brand and some Palo Santo, the incensed wood that you burn. I really get into burning incense lately and have a nice collection of it but try to burn the oldest first because it doesn't burn as well(depending on the brand) if it sits too long but still smells nice. I look forward to getting to my incensed purchase from The Hippie House and enjoying the variety of fragrances I purchased and take in their scents one stick at a time.
