I love this shop and I've been going to this shop for at least 10 years. I'm a little bit older so I'm not in the younger generation of like 20 or 21 years old. Customer service and personal interaction between staff and customer is definitely something that impacts patronizing the business. I really liked the previous staff l but the current staff is very friendly and very nice. I find the management to be a little bit rough and a little bit unapproachable and act entitled. I'm not sure why they can't keep staff, but I think that maybe the management is part of the reason. I've purchased a lot of different product from glass pipes, sex toys,detox products, insence and kratom over the years (just a quick plug-in that The Point is my place and I've been going there for like 15 years and I get my tattoos at Providence Tatoos.) I've been a customer since 2018 and I'm not sure what the deal is, but I hope that the current staff stays on and is consistent because the previous staff and the previous manager were awesome. I'm not sure what happened but I became very friendly with them and they were very nice and super knowledgeable and helpful. I came in so much that we became friendly, talking about our plans we had and what we've been up to and things that you would just chit chat with people that you become friendly with. The current staff is awesome, I just wish that they would stay and there wouldn't be so much turnover. Came here to purchase a new water bong as a treat for myself. It's small but has an amazing selection. I was greeted warmly by both ladies tending the store; very nice. Real chill atmosphere. Although, when I mentioned why I was there, the sales lady got a touch pushy. I kept smiling and ignoring so I could look around but, she just kept placing pieces in front of me proclaiming how much she loved it. She obviously enjoys her job and that's awesome but, she really needs to dial it back. Since all the shelves went basically floor to ceiling and were packed with rows of products, it was a tad overwhelming. This was a rare treat for myself and I wanted to take my time on my purchase. I cannot lie, I felt rushed. I would've like to just look a little longer. Can be expensive on what you buy but, I left with an extremely cool, well made piece for a good price and I'll certainly be going back. Thus far, I have not found a place close to home with their selection and prices. Also, not a huge deal but, it would've been cool if they mentioned their credit card fee. This review is long overdue but I love Smoke Zone! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I was the first customer on Black Friday and got to choose between two $100 goodie bags. Incentives and things like this + the shops great prices will definitely have my business. I have 5 pieces of glass from Smoke Zone and they all hold well, clean well and are made very well. The quality is solid for the price. DEFINITELY check this place out if you're in the Providence area... especially since they offer cool deals and raffles. read more

This is such a good place to pick up a piece that is large and also cheap. I've gotten all but one piece i've ever owned from them because they are just so affordable for the quality that you get. I have only spent $130 at most there and got a 2 footer (which is our current piece) for that. I've now bought 4 from there in the past 6 months. People have broken them A LOT! I don't blame that on them obviously I blame that on the people who don't know how to care for others pieces. In conclusion if you are looking for a quality piece for a cheap price then I'd recommend them for sure! read more

Great little shop. It's in my neighborhood so I pop in once in a while. Prices are more than fair for the area and they have a lot of stuff, given the smallish space. The first experience I had at this shop I got the owner and he was super knowledgeable of all the products and he gave us some tickets for 7/10. very predatory i walked in and they immediately started trying to push their most expensive product on me. i felt incredibly pressured to buy things they made it seem like they were giving me a great deal but they totally upsold everything. then we tried to go back and return stuff but they only offered me store credit so i walked away with more stuff i didn't really want or need. read more

Never had a problem with their customer service, or making returns with defective products, been going there for years now.

Horrible business. Horrible customer service. They treat their regulars like trash. They won't let you make returns on defective items they sell (even with receipt the day after). I will never go back and if you don't want to experience horrible service, I recommend you don't go to this place either. read more
