Outstanding, there's not really much more to say! I was late to get to the airport and I wanted something good to eat while I was there so I picked up a brisket sandwich, some mac & cheese, and an extra potato salad and they were all delicious. The people working there were also very nice and helpful. Great experience and if I'm ever traveling through here again I will definitely stop by.

Smoked is an absolute GEM in this city. Their menu and food is amazing! I went with the brisket and sausage, and it didn't let down at all! Place is filled with old signage, and decor but it doesn't let down at all. Service is quick, and it's expected when the sign outside says open from 11am - 3pm or sellout which happens often. Definitely a place worth visiting! Also, pay the extra $1 for the Brisket Mac&Cheese as a side, it's absolutely WORTH IT !!

When in Great Falls and looking for lunch, stop in for some BBQ. Low key relax place with tables inside (no reserving according to sign) and picnic benches outside. Jump up to the counter and order your choice of meats, sides and carbs. The restaurant has brisket, ribs, pork belly and more. You can get it by a pound or as a sandwich. For sides there are Mac and cheese, beans, coleslaw and more. You can also get a side of corn bread and dessert. They also have sweet tea. Great staff! Very warm and friendly. They will appreciate you stopping by. And by the looks of the map posted on the wall, customers have been pouring in from all across the country! Note the place closes early. On a daily basis it closes at 3:30. And when we went at 1:00 ribs were out: so plan accordingly if you desire a certain cut of meat! Enjoy! Wow!! Never been to a place like this. Go early. Lunch line out the door. We got combo w brisket, pork and turkey. Sides Cole slaw, potato salad and Mac and cheese!! Everything was by far the best we've ever had!! Several different types of sauce at the table!! The NCbbq sauce was on point!! AND they had sweet tea! IN MONTANA! We ate slow to savor all the deliciousness!! Wish we had a place like this in NC!!

They have just the Best pulled pork! The husband and I shared a 3 Meat/3 side plate...was enough food that we actually had to take some to go. With a drink, we had a delicious lunch for under $20...now that is hard to come by in this town!! read more

Best BBQ brisket in Great Falls....rivals Bad Betty's in Helena and Notorious P.I.G. in Missoula. Moist, great Q flavor (hate overly smoked Q), and priced favorably. The sauces were both great additions to the meat...especially the spicy option. This succulent brisket needs none, however. Our sides, Mac & Cheese and BBQ'ed beans, were better than the average sides found at most Q joints. Visited with the owner, a manager at a local business who dumped his career to follow his Q passion. So glad he did. We can't wait to try other options here...more to follow. read more

Me and my husband are new to the area and were really wanting some good barbecue. Let me tell you the brisket almost had this grown woman in tears 10/10. The bark on it and the fatty pieces *chef's kiss* The pulled pork and turkey were amazing too. I wish I had saved some pictures of my meal but my husband and I literally destroyed the 3 meats and 3 sides in 15 minutes. Such a great deal btw! read more

This was a meh place. Every time I've gone in there the food is okay, but it's not like the BBQ joints you find in the south. The cost to portion wasn't good, and the food itself was mediocre at best. Now if you want a tiny piece of brisket for $18, this place is great. read more

BEST bbq in town! Make sure you get there early, because when it's gone, it's gone. Brisket, pulled pork, beans, slaw and potato salad are all delicious. There are other meat options as well, and I've heard they are all good. I wish we could get Smoked more often. It's amazing! read more

Absolutely best bbq in Central Montana, briskit was perfect, I will put it up against anyone's. It is a true bbq spot, not some chain restaurant with Sisco food that never runs out. Get there early, if you are expecting cookie cutter, its not for you. They make an amount, when its gone its gone, so you are getting fresh and good. Best BBQ place in Montana (i believe it beats the notorious P.I.G in Missoula). I'm not southern but I've heard it's pretty dang close (from my southern friends). The only way to enjoy the fullness of this restaurant is to do family style--order a bunch of meat & get allll the sauces (& def get the Mac & cheese & potato salad) & pass it around. The brisket is my fave but it's all amazing. You can't go wrong. read more

I'm from Texas, I don't say this often, but damn this is good. They make enough and when it's gone it's gone! Try the white bbq sauce holy mackerel! Amazing Spicy vinegar based slaw, cool Mac n cheese, and great baked beans. Their smoked meats are all worth trying, none of them are bad, no kidding hands down best bbq i have had in Montana! read more

I don't know what to say if you haven't been here yet. You need to get here if you like BBQ or smoked meats or just really good food and awesome people. Get literally anything on the menu and you made the right choice. My favorite is the pork with the Carolina pork sauce and some of those pickled onions they have. Also the ribs are hard to beat. But get there earlier in the day, they sell out quick. read more

YALL as a Texan I am fairly particular about my BBQ and being here in Montana it can be hard to find good BBQ. While it isn't Texas BBQ it is definitely the best BBQ I've had since I moved to Montana. I would HIGHLY recommend their ribs and their turkey. I personally think their brisket is a bit dry, but I've never been a huge brisket fan. They have multiple kinds of BBQ sauce and most of them are really good!! Would recommend Smoked to anyone in town, the staff is incredibly friendly and the owner is a real stand up guy. read more

Trevor retired from managing the sales department of a local Ford Dealership to pursue his life long dream of BBQ, beer and rock and roll music all day. BBQ is our passion. We are in a 93 year old building that will bring you back to a bygone era. Come join us!

If you find yourself off the main drag in Great Falls, this is a must-stop for some of the best grilled cheese you'll set eyes on.

Do you feel awkward parking at a hotel that looks like a total dump just to go upstairs to this bar? Yes, but you still should. I ended up going on my own, and came back with colleagues the last night of our trip as it's a must stop. As I'm sure we all know, what makes it fun and unique is the dancing Mermaid performances in the pool behind the bar. Such a cool concept to watch them entertain you while you enjoy a good drink. My first time in the bartender was fantastic and giving me all the history of the place, and how the pool used to just be the hotels' actual swimming pool, and guests would swim in it, no Thank you. I ordered the cranberry cherry limeade, not realizing that it was basically a bucket full of booze, equivalent to three drinks (not complaining, just forewarning) also enjoyed chatting with the bartender about how the place is haunted. Definitely gives off that vibe and total dive bar/tiki feel. I'd come back every time I'm in this town or on a road trip. 21+---although they allowed a few families to come in with kids for a minute and get a picture by the mermaids, which I thought was super cool. And yes, you can tip the maids too! I didn't get any food from the restaurant, but I heard from a few it wasn't amazing so I think this is just a dive drinking spot for me.

The ribs I got the first night were fall off the bone (although not really the healthiest). The second night I came back on a Thursday and it was trivia night. The place was packed. I had my heart set on a salad I had seen on the menu just two days before....but they had changed the menu! I ended up with some broccolini and chicken which was also tasty.

It was packed when we went, which definitely speaks for itself! I ordered the hazelnut latte and really enjoyed it- the hazelnut flavor was strong in the best way possible! The downtown waffle was also really good, and I'd definitely recommend it. The sauce paired with the chicken was a solid combo! The brownie waffle with cream cheese frosting was good, but it didn't quite taste or feel like a brownie to me. As for the cheesecake, it was a bit on the drier side for my taste, but I'd be curious to try it again with a sauce next time! Overall, such a lively and welcoming spot- I'd come back to try more menu items!

If you have been looking for some really great barbecue than I'm telling you- SMOKED. is it! They have taken the best barbecue from around the country, learned what makes it great, and brought it to Montana. They do NOT do leftovers- the meats are the highest quality and smoked fresh daily. The smoked turkey with Alabama sauce- oh, so good! Pulled pork on specially made buns from Great Harvest and spicy slaw- meaty perfection! Cheddar brat with #2 mustard sauce- ooh baby! Smoked turkey legs that'll buckle your knees, and then the smoked pork belly that no mere words can describe. I haven't even gotten to the sides yet. The baked beans are flavor heaven. The mac 'n cheese is a true crowd pleaser, but the potato salad is where it's at- all others pale in comparison. Do NOT let the full parking lot or long line deter you from getting your SMOKED because you will not be waiting long. At SMOKED it's the meat smoking that's slow, not the service. Smoked! Few words describe this place," BEST BBQ IN TOWN." This place has everything you want at a bbq joint, friendly atmosphere, amazing smells, and staff that know bbq. When you walk in even if you are not that hungry the aroma instantly hits you and the thought of dieting flies out the window. The lines can be long but the service is quick. Amazing people. Always greet you with a smile... unless they are sold out then its more of a sad face/ I hope this guy don't get mad because he is hungry and we don't have food look on their face. Lol. So that being said get there at a decent time this establishment does do catering and people call in ahead of time to get their grub. You have to be quick to get yours. Smoked has all your options too. They have ribs, links, pork, chicken. And lets not forget about the sides slaw spicy or regular, macaroni, beans, and buns. You wont be disappointed. I have lived in Great Falls for about 14 years now, so I remember when Smoked first came to our town. Throughout the years, every single time I have entered this establishment it has been a wonderful experience. The service is amazing and communitive; the staff is always friendly and goes above and beyond to serve their customers to the fullest extent. The ambiance of the restaurant is welcoming, old fashioned and neighborly. As for the food, I have never had a bad dish. Everything from the simple sauces they provide you, to the melt in your mouth BBQ meat, their delicious sides, and lastly their desert all rounds out to a magnificent dining experience overall. Honestly, I would consider this place to be the best BBQ restaurant in town! 10/10! read more

No rival for BBQ here in Great Falls! I have an extra 45lbs around my middle from living/eating St. Louis BBQ and SMOKED is just as good or better than the masters! My personal favorites are the ribs and brisket.... If you get their delicious brisket on a bun, be sure to put some spicy slaw on it. Yes, it really is good! 2 downers about Smoked...they cook every day and when they run out, they close. So if they run out at 2pm, that's it. Hard to plan a night out. The other downer is their location. Its downtown, close to the nightlife (great), but very little parking and the building is VERY quaint. HOWEVER, if you get there at 11am on a Tuesday, you and the crew are in for an extraordinary treat! I LOVE SMOKED! read more

Smoked is the best place in Great falls for barbecue, possibly the best in Montana! They offer the usual types of things such as Pulled pork, Ribs, Brisket, etc.. but they also serve up smoked Turkey legs, smoked pork belly, and a variety of house made sausages! Everything is fresh and delicious. If your feeling adventurous try the Pig Mac! No matter what you order Smoked is guaranteed to please your tastebuds! An added bonus is that every Tuesday they offer pulled pork on a bun topped with slaw plus a side for $5 for active, retired, reserved, and spouses of Military! Brisket snobs rejoice! Hole in the wall joint with limited seating. High turnover and you move quickly through the line. Staff is AWESOME!!!! The food, OH SO GOOD!!!!! Brisket is tender and juicy, same with pulled pork. YUMMY sides (I love the beans) and sauces. Get there early because they sell out fast. Only cook for the day, so you are getting it FRESH! To be honest I didn't much care for the mac n cheese but only because it was way too creamy for my taste, I'm sure others would love it. Great bbq. Easily best in town. Come early or it will be gone. Only bbq place in town that tastes like it serves you food cooked the same day. Taste like ur eating yesterdays bbq reheated because they dont wake up early to cook you fresh food. Great sides as well. Good job guys read more
