Finally a barbeque place in Concord (really in NH) that knows BBQ. Tried the ribs, pulled pork, brisket and jalapeno cheese sausage - all incredible. Oak fired smoker, order your meat by the pound, and get it fast. Even the beans have nice chunks of BBQ pork. You won't go wrong checking out this place - and you'll go back. Soooooooo good. When vacationing in the area for a long weekend, we ate there 3 times between Fri and Sun. If it was closer to me I might eat every meal there. Just had a melt in your mouth brisket sandwich and amazing homemade coleslaw lunch. The owners explained some of the unique offerings, including samples. They have something called Goodness is like pulled pork but mostly beef; yummy but needed to stay clean. Also had a taste of the smoked turkey -- that's not usually a favorite but it was so moist, better than Thanksgiving. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Let's put it this way, my hubby works in Concord and we live more than an hour north. We have a bbq place less than a 10 minute drive FROM OUR HOUSE and we still order from Smokeshow because even after the long drive its still better than anything we can get around here! Just put an order in a minute ago and I don't have to guess if it's gonna be good, because I know its going to be PHENOMENAL. Everytime I call the person who answers on the other end is friendly and confident that what they sell it S tier food. THEY KNOW they do it best and I love that. Easily 4 stars. Been twice. Highly recommend the Goodness, and the brisket (I ask for it fatty). They also carry turkey, sausage, pulled pork, pork loin, Frito pie, etc. Don't care for their mac'n'cheese at all - wish they'd rethink their version and go for a baked product. They now have parts of a traditional TX BBQ fixins bar - onion, pickle, jalepenos - didn't see any bread. Second visit today served tastier brisket than my visit a few months back, but this time I asked for it fatty. Very friendly customer service, they go the extra mile. Alway looking for great quick joints on the way to Lincoln, NH and wanted barbecue, quick search in Yelp brought us to Smokeshow. The gentleman/owner was extremely friendly, gave us a sample of goodness, which was absolute goodness. Some may not like the a la carte but it allowed you to create your own small plate so we got 1/3lb each ribs, brisket and goodness, beans, coleslaw and corn bread. Every item was excellent. Ribs had a great kick, even better with the Spicy barbecue sauce. Don't judge this spot by its outside appearance! Now i typically would never give 5 stars to any establishment, but Smokeshow has stood the test of time and consistency for me. When i am craving BBQ this will always be my go to place not only because the pricing is very reasonable and the food is consistently good. First visit. When you walk in there are three long table on one side and some window counter seating on the other with a smaller Thaler nearby. Total occupancy of diners looks to be about 32 or so. 20 comfortably. The register area is bordered off from the seating area by a counter. You order at the counter like a cafeteria style place. You buy by the pound or part of, like most good barbecue joints. Good sign. I ordered 1/4 brisket and 1/2 lb ribs and one smoked chorizo. For side I had the Mac N Cheese and Creamed Corn (the name may have been different on the menu. The best part: easily the brisket. Delicious. Cut about 1/4 inch thick and falls apart easily. Good smoke flavor but not too much to set your insides up for indigestion. Three sauces at the table, sweet, hot and vinegar based. The ribs were ok, nothing special. The chorizo, I'd pass on, and may e try the chicken next time. Tasted fine. The creamed corn I really liked. Different and haven't seen that as a side before. The Mac n cheese was typical, creamy, not too thick and not too thin. Par for the course Mac n cheese I'd say. Wish a BBQ joint would do baked Mac n cheese with crumbled top. Oh well. Overall, not a bad place to get some barbecue at all. Recommended for a quick stop. Not fancy and not a date place. read more

He provided us recommendations for amounts to order and allowed my husband's father to taste test the dishes to help us make a decision. We got the turkey (so juicy!), the pulled pork, and the brisket; along with cole slaw, baked beans, corn bread, mac&cheese, and tortillas. Every single item was fantastic and went so well together! The delivery of the food was prompt and the Smokeshow team set it all up really nicely in what was probably a more unconventional area for a wedding reception (kitchen bar area). This was some of the worst barbecue I've ever had in my entire life. The man behind the counter was nice enough but the food left a lot to be desired. I got the brisket which was very fatty,not moist, but fatty. Probably a third of my half pound was the fat that I had to pull off and discard. Besides that it was ice cold. This is because he had it sitting on the counter to slice it the entire time and It had no warmth to it whatsoever. The cream corn was hot and very tasty but the kernels were very very soggy. The cornbread was bone dry, and the sauce both the hot and the mild tasted very much of cilantro which is just unheard of for real barbecue sauce. I am visiting on business and if I lived here I would certainly never visit again. read more
