Always loved Smokey bones, but Picked up food Sunday March 27 and was sorely disappointed. Chicken was over cooked and dried out. Ambience - Sports Bar feel but kid friendly Noise level- average. There were a couple of little league teams in there at the same time Service- the part you will be upset with Food- to be expected. I have not been here in YEARS almost 10 years.. which says a lot because for 10 years people have been saying it's a good place to eat................. I remember why I hadn't been back in years 20 mins into the dining experience. We ordered our drinks; wait sorry I ordered my drink coz I needed a Stiff drink ASAP. I got the 'Oh La la Lemonade(vodka inside) with a shot of Chambord'... My lemonade appeared 10 minutes later.. again my lemonade because I tasted absolutely NO vodka for my $9 drink and had no shot either. I should have stopped there and said ok let's go after drinks but I was starving. Hubs ordered the Whiskey Flight and it took a whole 40 minutes to get and the pours looked so puny in sample beer glasses... Lord just put it in shot glasses to be more appealing. Food. I ordered ribs and he ordered a steak...he specifically ordered the 'bigger steak' and she repeated it 2xs... We got the food before the whiskey flight... YES 40 minutes LATER our waitress was too busy playing in the (open) kitchen and I saw all the 'bartenders' cleaning glasses.. HELLO where was our flight it isn't that hard! Back on track... his steak came but it was the TINIEST steak ever.. when we asked the expediter if this was the large steak- to which he said 'Definitely NOT'- he quickly grabbed the plate apologized and went back to the kitchen. it took another 20 minutes and my food was on the table.. I was raised to wait to eat until everyone had their food but almost 1 hour! Food was meh nothing to write home about or say 'HEY Let's go eat there!'. I suppose if the service was better and we were actually checked on instead of avoided the whole experience would have been better.. needless to say.. WHY IS THIS PLACE STILL existing! Let me preface with this: I have worked in the service industry for years as a server. I am very fair and understanding. Walked in with my brother to a very slow night, and was not greeted for 11 minutes. Server was unenthusiastic and unpleasant. I tried to order THE SAME THING I HAVE ORDERED EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE EATEN HERE, and the server told me we could only get 2 sauces for 32 wings. When I asked if we could get 16 wings and get 2 flavors and then order another 16 and get 2 flavors, she cut me off and said "it's 2 sauces period." So after this, we decided to leave and I left my keys inside.. they'd already cleaned off and reset the whole table in those 30-45 seconds, almost as if they were eager to get me out of there. read more

I use to love the Smokey Bones in Peacthree City Georgia. It's been many many years since I ate there so was excited to give this one a try. This is a perfect example of a franchise that use to be amazing and through the years, cuts food costs and quality to say afloat. There was a wait on a Friday late afternoon around 4pm. Odd but it was decently busy. All in all the meal was just ok. Burger, ribs....we weren't able to try the brisket because they were out...at 4 o'clock on a Friday. The brisket was a bit dry and the seasoning was a bit lackluster, but Brittani quickly replaced my brisket with a more tender cut. Mmmmmmm aroma when we exited our car. Lovely hostess greeted us and we were seated at a large comfortable booth with padded seats and plenty of elbow room. Server Chris greeted us right away. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had naked wings that were very meaty, a nutty strawberry salad very generous with pecans and strawberries, the loaded baked potato with pulled pork was perfection. The pulled pork bowl was very generous. We all thought the cole slaw was delicious. Of the 4 sauces on the table each of us had a different favorite. Came in for the first time with my gf. We ordered the campfire meal for two. It cost $35. (Thier photo is very misleading, as i'm sure they are showing the $60 meal.) What they brought out looked like a mini sampler for one person. One sausage cut into 6 pieces. 4 chicken wings, 4 baby back rib pieces and maybe 3oz ea of chicken breast and steak. And 4 potato wedges, with 3 grilled peppers. I'd say closer to $20-25 but deff not a $35 meal. It tasted good,just over priced for the amount of food. We ordered BBQ combo for 2. The big grill tray with heating charcol at the bottom came with 5 types of meat . My top favorite was the steak. It was grill to perfect- soft and pink inside and already cut into strip. The pork rib was delicious with some kind of cinnamon sweet dry rub and it was fall off the bone tender. The chicken wing was crunchy outside also with sweetish flavor- very delicious. Sausage and chicken breast were also good. They offered 5 types of BBQ sauces. We have been going to this location for several years, well this evening we have pretty much decided we are not going back at least not any time soon! My dinner of pulled pork was full of fat and gristle. My husband's dinner the smoked sausage was dry like it had been sitting and so was his pulled chicken. While the manager did offer me something else and did comp my meal we just don't have the desire to return. Don't get me started on the restroom I don't think the toilets have been cleaned in months! I like the wings and i have been here before but the skillet cookie was like $8 and came out to be about 3-4 inches wide which for that price isn't worth it. I could have gone to cookie munchers which is next to where i live and spent $8 on a bigger cookie with more ice cream. First time trying Smokey Bones in YEARS! Was greeted with a smile and able to sit down at a table immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive, always with a smile. I tried the new Rocket Bomb summer cocktail and I'm not a huge vodka fan but this cocktail was smooth and flavorful. I had to get the classic pulled pork platter and chose fire roasted corn and coleslaw for my sides. There were a few bbq sauce selections on the table but the classic bbq bottle was running on E. The bottles could use a nice cleanup as they were pretty slimy/greasy feeling overall. The corn was a bit lackluster flavor wise. I wouldn't get it again. We tried the hot donuts for dessert and they arrived hot and fresh with a raspberry and chocolate sauce for dipping. They were mouthwateringly fantastic! We also tried the banana pudding and you could tell it was freshly made from scratch with chunks of banana throughout. Overall a nice dinner, I would definitely return. read more

Been an avid Smokey Bones goer over the years and while I don't expect delivery to look as good as buying in the restaurant, this was pretty disappointing. The wings tasted decent, the pulled pork was very average, the potato wedges were embarrassing & the Mac n cheese looked like it had some Mexican cheese sprinkled on top and never melted due to the noodles' cold temperature.
