This place had excellent pizza in the past so I came back. It wasn't worth it. First, the good. My food was ready in under 20 minutes, and the employee working the phone and counter was extremely friendly. However, when I got home and unpacked the wings from their cardboard fold-up carton something was amiss. The carrots were inside with the wings. This resulted in steamed carrots and watered down, cold wings. I like crunchy carrots and hot, spicy wings. Cold carrots should be packed separately from hot wings (or omitted altogether). The wings looked nice and red from the Buffalo sauce but didn't taste of it at all. Perhaps they were cooked earlier and just sitting around, but there was no wet sauce on them or in the box (just water from the carrots) and they didn't taste hot or vinegary. Very little sauce got on my hands. I put my own Red Hot on to spice them up, but what happened? They were also dry, but I can't say if they were overcooked or not. If they actually had wing sauce on them they might not have tasted so dry. The pizza was good, and loaded... LOADED... with meat. I ordered the "Carne" pizza and it was packed with sausage, bacon, meatballs, etc. The crust was so thin (and not crispy) and floppy that you couldn't pick up a slice to eat without it collapsing. Reheated in the toaster oven, it was better. Surprisingly, it wasn't filled with salt, but for all the meat on it I had hoped it would taste more meaty. Hard to describe, but if my eyes were closed I wouldn't have been able to identify the types of meat that were packed on it. If I wanted subpar pizza and wings I would have ordered from Dominoes. For over $45, I expected better from this place. Very disappointed.

There are, however, stools and a counter along the periphery of the shop. There is no bathroom for public use. It's more a take-out food business. I ultimately ordered chicken with mofongo (a Puerto Rican staple made from mashed green plantains). The woman who assisted me spoke Spanish and I don't. We managed to agree on the order by pointing to the item on the menu. Kinda funny. Kinda not. I did have to wait for the order. The cashier said it would take a few minutes more. Being hungry while waiting for food can try your patience. I did get my food and drove home. I was anxious to try the food. Was it worth it? Hell yes. Everything, except the small salad, was still hot, not piping, but actually hot. Presentation was very good for a take out meal. I must have gotten the Gringo meal because the chicken was cut into strips, coated with flour and deep fried; the best real white meat chicken tenders I've had. Not complaining. I wanted to try a representative sampling of their food, so I ordered a chicken parmigiana wedge, a large cheese pizza, and a 2 liter bottle of diet Coke. Out of the three items, the best part of the meal was - the diet Coke. (If you've tried getting Cocla Cola products from Albany restaurants and are a Coke fan, you understand this.) The pizza was pleasant, but decidedly average. The crust was not crisp, though reheating should help with that, which I shall find out with the leftovers. There was more crust than I normally like relative to the cheese, but it wasn't overly unbalanced. It was just a little too much on the crust side. The wedge, in conrast, had so much sauce I could not taste the chciken at all, and had trouble even finding the chicken on the sandwich. When I did, the chicken had minimal flavor. a good chicken parmiagiana should actually let you taste chicken with crisp breading, not soggy breding hidden in enough sauce to cause digestive distress. I'd skip the buffalo chicken wrap next time. It was relatively dry, not spicy, and not as substantial as I was expecting. Beyond that, it had a grill flavor to it that was a bit out of place and interfered with the expected flavor. They seemed to put it on the grill to seal it closed in the middle but they keep the ends open so you have to hold the end closed while eating it to prevent bits from falling out. It was more of a somewhat buffalo flavored chicken roll-up than a buffalo chicken wrap. Surprisingly good fries. Also, great peanut butter pie. Note that the pepperoni is beef. It is very appreciated that it is clearly marked as beef so people can decide if that's a thing they want more or less than traditional pepperoni. Far too few other places think it's important to note this!
