Pizza was delicious! Ordered a cheese and a pepperoni and it was cooked to perfection! Also tried the Italian sub which was a good size with lots of veggies on it. Confession: We found Smokey's through the coupon book. The location we go to is right next to sonic, and we must have passed it a hundred times. The interior is your standard pizza shop, just a counter and chairs, so no indoor dining at least when I was there. We got two pizzas that were pretty good, your slightly better than basic pizza at a pretty typical price. The second time we went back: we found an online deal for five large one topping pizzas for $30. I LOVE A DEAL, ok?? We figured we would try it out for a Halloween gathering we were having and I'm so glad we did! I got three pepperoni with extra cheese, one cheese pizza, and then a mushroom and paid a little extra for banana peppers on it too (blame my husband but I'll admit it was surprisingly good). What we paid for five pizzas was less than two pizzas at a larger chain store, so we expected the quality to be pretty low. Nope! They weren't anything fancy, but they were still much yummier than we had thought they'd be and they all seemed fresh; no burnt spots, doughy spots, or those giant air bubbles that you either love or hate (I myself am in the second camp). Just good pizza at a great price. If you're looking for gourmet, this wouldn't be the spot for you. But if you want a local alternative to Lil Caesar's price with better quality, this is the place for you! read more

My husband and I really wanted pizza last night so we decided to order from here. We got a medium cheese pizza and breadsticks. On the menu they have were you can get 3 or 12 bread sticks. We ordered 3 because we didn't need 12. It was ready in 15 minutes. Our order was correct and they even gave us 4 breadsticks instead of 3. The breadsticks didn't really have an flavor. I thought the pizza was okay. The sauce was my favorite part. Overall it wasn't the worse pizza I had but not the best. I do want to go back and try the wings. read more

I really dislike leaving negative reviews for privately owned businesses, but maybe the owner will read this and try to change things. Being relatively new to the area we wanted to find a pizza place we could order from on a regular basis and "call home"... last Saturday we ordered a medium sausage and mushroom pizza and a chicken "gyro". $40 later our food was delivered and we began our feast. The pizza was at best worse than Dominos and little Caesar's.... No sauce and tasteless. My chicken Gyro was a chicken wrap not worthy to say it was a "gyro". Whoever the owner of Smokies is you really need to take a hard look at the quality of your food. I really hope you can turn things around! read more

We like the pizza, the fried mushrooms and the cookie dessert. The fried pickles are good too. I got a free medium pizza today for being in the VIP club. I have one complaint though; why no contactless delivery? I asked for them to leave it outside and the guy said I "had to" sign the receipt. Why? Other places can do it. I paid and tipped online already. Will management let me know why this can't be done? I am a crisis worker and there's an outbreak in my building and we have to go to work anyway...soooo yeah. We've tried the pizza here 3 times now and it gives us both heartburn almost instantly. I love pizza and the taste is not bad at all which is why I've given it so many tries, but I just can't handle the pain after. I don't know what it is. I am writing this review To see if there is really an owner at Smokies pizza or is it just a bunch of nasty kids. I always went to Smokies and had great pizza and was treated with respect. Then all of a sudden, someone hired this person who doesn't know how to get an order right hand doesn't know how to handle customers at all. Four weeks ago, I called in an order over the phone spoke to a person I was calling for my car, and ordered pizza and some wings to go. They said it would be 15 minutes which is fine. When we got there 20 minutes later, I have my grandson with me who by the way is 21, and they told us he wasn't quite ready yet which was understandable. 25 minutes later we were given our order and everything it was different from what we ordered. It was some hamburgers and french fries and that doesn't sound like pizza and wings to me. He said if we wait another 20 minutes he would make us a pizza and wings we asked them for a refund instead. He said he could give us one. I had an appointment have to leave and I was very upset with him as he was rude rude I've had to go to the outside the back to talk to someone on the phone to get our refund after almost a solid hour had passed. Stupidly, I decided to try Smokies again since I liked it so well, and we ordered over the phone for delivery A pizza some wings and jalapeño poppers. It was a nice order for your company as it came to almost $40 with the tip. When we got order and it's right on the slave we ordered a thin pizza, and it came as a regular. We were hungry so I called him up and told himAbout it, and we were going to keep the pizza but I just wanted to know the mistake was made and I was very nice that was no problem talking to him. He again became very rude and said fine I'll give you a 10% discount on your next order which I didn't ask for. If anything I should've sent a pizza back and got what I ordered. Is this how you train your people. Mr. owner wherever you may be. I got an Italian Calzone with jelopenos today. It was the perfect size to fill you up and not be wastefull. Tasted like it should with plenty of melty cheeze to make me happy. Staff was nice and the speed was good. I'd rather get a pie here than with the "big boys." This new location is closer to me so I'm glad it is open now. read more

Quality of pizza is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The prices are always reasonable and you leave with extra for later! Although they accidentally forgot the pepperoni on the pizza I ordered they gave me the plain cheese for free and remade the pepperoni pizza. The only thing I'd recommend is make sure you put cheese all the way to the crust! In my opinion there should not be any sauce showing on the finished pizza. Thanks for a great experience! read more

Smokys pizza is the worst I've had in Maryville. Every part of it is bad. The crust is absolutely tasteless, well to be fair it has the taste of a stale saltine cracker that has become soft. There's a small amount of something that looks like it might be sauce but it has no taste at all so I can't be sure. The meats, including the pepperoni is utterly and completely bland. The pepperoni does not taste like pepperoni and the bacon on the all meat is like little tiny pieces of rubber. Little. Ceasers and Ghattis are both better. I would love to give this place a good rating, but it just doesn't deserve it. I have never eaten inside the restaurant, I've only ever eaten their delivery food. Honestly, in my humble opinion, the fact that they deliver to me is the ONLY reason I ever eat their food. They happen to be the only place that delivers at all where I live, so I am willing to tolerate their food. That is, until now. As if the food being mediocre wasn't bad enough, they are being deceitful when they "estimate" their delivery time. Right off the bat, the estimated time of delivery was 45 minutes. To me, that's an excessive amount of time to wait, but when you're hungry and you don't have any food in the house, you suck it up and deal with it. The past few times I've ordered from them though, it has taken over an hour for the food to arrive. When you call the place to find out when your food is coming, they finally tell you they are short handed or they are really busy or some other excuse. If they would just be honest up front, it would give you the opportunity to make another choice instead of waiting for over an hour. In the same amount of time, I could have driven somewhere else and already be eating instead of still waiting. I got fed up with them months ago and stopped ordering from them, but recently decided to give them another chance. It hasn't changed. I doubt I will ever order from them again. If the food was good, I'd probably be willing to deal with the slow service, but it's just not worth it. read more

I have eaten a lot of pizza, but this by far is the WORST I HAVE EVER EATEN. It is very obvious that every ingredient is out of a freezer. NOTHING tastes fresh. First off, You have to get through the layer of oil that looks similar to cheese. Then, there's the lovely layer of sauce that couldn't even come close to the quality of Ragu. Finally, there's the crust that has the consistency of card board. To top it all off, after suffering through this horrific meal, I have to spend a full night in and out of the bathroom with raging stomach pains. There's not enough Imodium in a store to control the flow from my bowels.... Now, I'm sure by this point of the review, you might be wondering if this was just a one time experience for me and why I would be so bitter. Unfortunately, this is not the first time my body has suffered this terrible meal, but I can assure you it will be the last... In addition to my terrible meal, the management seemed more in a rush to put out orders then to give quality service. I'd rather have good and fresh ingredients that take longer to prepare than to have the "food" that I was served. Then, there's the drivers that are scary on the roadways and really make the area unsafe for local pedestrians and fellow drivers... All in all, this is one of the worst restaurants in Maryville and I hope no one has to endure this awful experience along side me. If there were lower stars, it would have it! read more
