I came in on 7/31/21 and Ivan and anther guy was working... it was really busy and they were doing a great job!!! The only thing is it was sooooo hot inside . I asked and they said something was wrong with the AC. I'm sorry but they should not have to work in those conditions especially how busy the store gets. The smoothies are pretty good, especially after a workout and they are filling. I like to get a protein shake after a workout. I've always hated the taste of protein shakes and bars but they do a really great job of making it taste so good that you don't think about the fact that the shake has protein in it. Of course I like to make my own shakes but if I can't or don't feel like it, they are the next best thing in my opinion. The prices are ok (could be a little better) and they have a lot of different flavors to choose from, which is a huge bonus that works in their favor. read more

Terrible service, some butch girl with a half shaven head behind the counter was incredibly rude, bad mouthed, lazy and condescending. She literally started stretching her entire body while taking my order. I'm an incredibly patient and chill person and hate writing bad about a place, but this employee was definitely the worst. I like the staff here, they're kids or just young. It's not an office, it's a chill smoothie place. No one is rude and they're not handling people's 401ks for crying out loud. Some of these reviews are plain nasty. I live near here and come a couple of times a week. The kids are nice, easy going and honest . They don't always smile super big but they're ALWAYS kind, efficient and make me feel welcomed. They do their job and it's inviting when I come in. I never feel like they don't want me there. Best Smoothies, worst service. Their was a girl working there called Nikki who was efficient and I would have given 5 stars. Since she left, it's a mess. They don't answer the phone, nor do they give you points like the other franchises do. When it's busy you have someone waiting at the register instead of helping make the smoothies. Terrible customer service.The staff were playing around with each other without any regard for the customer.One specific girl who had half her head shaved off (couldn't get her name) was standing behind the register when I approached her to place my order she said she was just standing there but she wasn't taking orders that I had to wait for the other cashier.Mind you,there was only 1 customer inside the store.They were not busy by any means.The staff treats you as if you were an inconvenience therefore next time I will take my business to Jamba Juice.At least they're friendly! read more

This is kind of interesting, so read 'til the end... I had never been to a Smoothie King before. I had been on my bike, and it was hot. I wanted something cool, like a frozen yogurt. Smoothie King was there, so I gave it a try. EIGHT BUCKS later, I commented that it was a lot of money for a smoothie, and the cashier said, "Well, it's a meal replacement, so it's worth it." Well, I did not want a meal replacement. I just wanted something quick, cold and tasty. The menu was overwhelming, so I told that employee that I didn't want a fruity drink but instead something chocolate or vanilla. She recommended the Gladiator. It comes with two fruits, so I ordered raspberry and preach. Then when I went to pay, it was $8.03, but I hadn't paid any attention to the price because I just didn't expect it to be so outrageous- and that is OUTRAGEOUS. The smoothie was overwhelmingly fruity. No taste of vanilla. I hadn't wanted a meal replacement, so the rest of my day was ruined for meals. Besides that, however, I felt sluggish, burpy and gross the rest of the day- the entire day. Later I developed a nasty headache. I used the survey link on the receipt, and the web address didn't work. Kept getting an error page. I googled Smoothie King survey and immediately found it. The survey site doesn't allow you to enter enough characters just to answer a very simple question, so that turned me off from Smoothie King even more. I felt it was a disgusting and highly overpriced experience, and I'm nauseated just thinking of going back there. How dare a clerk recommend a MEAL REPLACEMENT just because I requested vanilla or chocolate. Well.... here's an update. I received an email from an area manager a couple of days later in response to what I had indicated on their survey (the one you get a link to on your receipt). A very nice young man said that: 1) There was absolutely no reason that I should have been offered a meal replacement. That is a huge amount of protein, he said, which can make you feel sluggish and unwell if you're not used to it. It is, after all, called "The Gladiator." 2) They have snack items that I should have been offered, and he acknowledged that their menu and its design is overwhelming (menus are on the wall as well as on the counter). He said that they are redesigning the menu for that reason. He said that they have low calorie frozen yogurt items I should have been offered, as I hadn't wanted a fruity shake to begin with, and I had been craving frozen yogurt, but Smoothie King was right there in front of me. 3) They are aware of problems with the survey website- it allows too few characters to be typed in response to questions, and the link on the receipt doesn't work. Then, he said that he was leaving a gift card for me at the location for me to try it again. He was a nice, cheerful guy- and he laughed at my jokes. So, I upgraded my review from one star to two stars. I will emphasize, however, that I was actually suffering for the rest of the day and night after that Gladiator meal replacement smoothie that I had no intention of ordering and paying $8 for. I was sluggish, very sleepy, belching and later had a splitting headache. I cannot afford to throw eight bucks around on a midday treat. So, nice attention to my plight, and a gift card (I don't know yet for how much). Good luck to Smoothie King! read more

We are planet smoothie die hards but this smoothie king has changed our mind. We're here on vacation and so we've been several times and the staff is always nice. One of the staff made some great recommendations and so we found some new options that taste great and are better for you. The smoothies are expensive if you're not familiar with their pricing but we use them as meal replacements so it's not a huge issue. read more

So this is my first bad comment on the website, but I don't know who I can talk to since the last person I talked to had a bad attitude . Let me start with saying, I love smoothie king and I used to visit at least 1-3 times per week . they had the best staff, and even better general manager I believe her name was Elissa . Most amazing and helpful person I have ever met and then a few months ago in September she had told me she left to go to Orlando. This left the store with the next two people in charge and they seemed to run the store quite well I didn't know either of them except just the casual hello and goodbye with some conversation here and there they were very helpful to me and I believe most of the other people. But in October/November they got a new general manager that in my opinion is the most rude and un customer service oriented woman I have ever met. I am aware that add in's cost and I usually get dietdown or creatine to add to my mangofest. This person did not suggest any combinations nor could she understand what I was asking for. She had to pass my order on to a girl working under her because she couldn't tell me anything that I wanted to know about the menu, which I already knew pretty well and I was just asking questions about my add in and a better smoothie choice. I ended up getting a island impact with no add in's and leaving with a unhappy attitude. After I asked for the manager in charge and she explained to me she was it, she attempted to convince me that is was none of my business how she interacted with her employees. On a few occasions her "employees" would hold a conversation with me about my family or something else, and it was a very friendly environment few months ago. But since this new manager moved into the store, the employees no longer are allowed to talk to me about anything accept the menus for not more then a few minutes because they get yelled at for talking to much . Honestly I think this rule is completely un customer service oriented and needs to be removed pronto. I feel very badly about writing this on yelp, but it needs to be said and I have attempted to contact smoothie king corporate as well It is my professional believe that if you hire a manager they should know about the product they are selling and about customer service and how to talk to people and not put them down or argue with them. - thanks for reading and I hope others don't take this from places you spend money at. I can honestly say I will not be ever going back until this store is under new management. I guess I have to go to my local Jamba because at least there I am treated like a customer, and not a jerk. I have been going to this store regularly for almost 3 years. There is a lot of competition with smoothie stores in the area but what set this place apart was that they were dog friendly up until about a week ago. In the beginning they used to greet me and my dog by giving her a biscuit. Then they stopped doing that, which is fine, but supposedly the new manager is against dogs in the store. What does this person expect...me to keep my dog in the HOT car here in South Florida! I will NOT be going there any longer. I wish I could select negative 5 in stars in this app after my experience today! This evening (March 1st) I walked in Smoothie King about 8:55. I know they close at 9:00. But wait time on a smoothie is about 5 or 6 minutes, I LOVE SMOOTHIE KING, & a business is closed when they're closed! Before that, a business is still running! As soon as my friend and I walked in, a short, plump, Hispanic employee said "YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" ((really loud)) & forcefully dropped whatever she had in her hand. She was cursing and angry because I wanted a smoothie....??? Then she yelled at her co-worker "I thought you locked the door?!" Yelling so loud over me speaking that I couldnt think of what I wanted to say to order. Then someone else came to the door and she didn't want to open the door and said I'm theres no way I'm letting him in" It was still before 9:00!! She was extremely attitudinal! & rude! Made my exciting run to Smoothie King to my worst treatment of customer service ever. And I work in customer service! Customers stay in my retail establishment hours after closing! But YOU ARE ON THE CLOCK UNTIL YOU ARE OFF THE CLOCK. That was completely uncalled for!
