I just left this location. We ordered two apple pecan salads; one was a combo and the other was just a salad. We pulled around to the window to pay for our food, and the manager told us that they had to make both of our salads, and asked us to pull up and they would bring our food out to us. As we got our salads and headed home to enjoy them, or so we thought, the salads were so skimpy they didn't have the right amount of lettuce or meat that was supposed to be in the salad. I feel that they were made too quickly. I tried calling the store several times, but no one answered. If a person is paying money for their food, at least make sure the proper amount of ingredients is included. read more

i used to work there. it's not worth eating nor working. fruit files are everywhere in there and when a cup is dropped on the floor they just rewash it. that's how cheap they are. and on top of all of that they have rusting equipment and that's what they DONT tell you guys.. working was sucky the boss and manger were crappy and I barley made anything for the work I did. there was no point in going. do better and treat your workers better. the boss stole peoples tips at some point in time when he was mad. and he pays below minimum wage. not a great location at all read more

First of all it's nice to have a smoothie business here on this side of Deland and hopefully they can pull it all together and be successful. I think the location is perfect but the drive-through logistics is a little challenging it seems it wasn't well thought out by the architect, I mean it it's not often you find a non-sweeping ninety degree turn installed to access it. I know this sound trivial but I drive a large pickup so it will be interesting to see how many paint scrapes there will be on the building by persons not paying attention. The staff was very friendly and even offered alternatives to the ingredients on the menu items for a small up charge so don't expect them for free even on five dollar Fridays. The wait wasn't horrible and the product was good so I found this place to be okay, I don't know where the next closest smoothie location is regardless of the brand but I know it's no where along the path I frequently travel... read more

I had been sitting in the drive through line for 22 minutes when I finally reached the speaker, two cars ahead of me had been served and several had left. I waited at the speaker for another 5 mins and no one spoke to me so I drove to the window where two employees looked at me and ignored me completely. I pulled around front and noticed two employees loading a promotional vehicle- but they didn't go anhwhere. It seems when the drive through has 7-8 people in it- all hands should be on deck. It was also lunch time- 12:30pm. I came inside to hopefully get better service and there isn't a soul in this store. There are only 2 of us customers in here and 1 employee in the front. There are at least 4 employees working currently that I have seen today. I completely understand short staffed places of service, that's why I waited as long as I did. This was callous and disrespectful behavior. Get some better cameras to watch the back and you'll see how much business you're losing by the employees having an attitude that the drive through will leave or come in. read more

Went to Smoothy King tonight after waiting 15 minutes the Acai bowl they handed to my husband dropped and went everywhere. They saw it fall but refused to replace it without us paying for a new one. Ok fine, we will by a new one even though it fell at the store but then we were advised they were actually out of Acai so we would not be able to get a new one anyway, but we could buy something else because they would not refund. When I asked for the manager's name to speak with, I was told they could not give it out! Not the first time we have had issues with this location. My most recent and final visit here I witnessed an employee cough into her open hand and continue to handle making the next customer's drink. Visited this location for the very first time yesterday, it was actually my very first smoothie experience ever. The wait was a little long, but for a newbie, I was unaware of a Friday $5 smoothie special which must've been the reason for a drive thru wait. I was overwhelmed at the endless choices and even checked them out on the website before getting to the order board and still took some extra time to choose my selection. I ordered a Keto Champ Berry in a 32 oz and added an extra, peanut butter! Yes please! The smoothie was soo good! The girl at the window was super sweet when I explained I couldn't understand what she said when she asked about what kind of cup I wanted. I explained to her it was my first time being there's Nd she was very sweet. I definitely will go back and spread the word. It's a busy place, since I'm in that shopping plaza all the time. This location is okay but I'm assuming the owner was present today and when I went to use my $1 off coupon I was told I couldn't because it's $5 dollar Friday's. I've came to this location numerous times and I've always been able to use it but I didn't make a big deal about it. He asked the young lady who was sweeping the floor to make my smoothie, she didn't even wash he hands! After she put it on the blender, the owner who handled my order and money came over to put my smoothie in a cup and again did not wash his hands. As a place that serves beverages, I believe they should still uphold sanitary standards. Do better please! read more

Smoothies are alright, certainly nothing I can't make at home though. I order the same thing every time so I have noticed inconsistency with my order. This last time it was watered down and almost like a fruit juice than a Mango Smoothie. My biggest issue has been wait times. Almost 25 minuets to make 3 smoothies??? Employees are always bland and make it real obvious they would rather be 100 different places than there. If Tropical Smoothie is a 5 out of 5, Smoothie King would be a 2 out of 5.
