if I could rate this place a zero, I would 1000%. Don't even waste your time even driving to this store because you will not get served. I've been at this store twice in the last 2 weeks and both times the "workers" said the store is closed to me and another customer and then proceeded to laugh at us. I showed up 3 hours before close both times (All the lights were on and the open side was in the window. One worker was sitting on the counter and the other two were lying down on the couch. Placed a mobile order and pulled up at 6:30pm when the store says it's open until 8pm. One employee was outside smoking when we pulled up. He ran inside and turned off the lights. While we knocked on the door him and a woman ignored us. Multiple other customer walked up to the door and the ignored us while they continued to clean up. One of my favorite locations to visit since they're more convenient than others. I always get The Daily Warrior and add peanut butter x2. It always helps to have the app so that you can accumulate rewards and/or apply discounts. It also helps to have the app whenever you come on Friday's when you can upsize your smoothie for free. The employees don't have a problem accommodating your shake to meet your needs whether you like it thick or more flavorful. The service was fast and efficient especially with the amount of online orders coming in. This location is clean and well lit but can feel a bit cramped during lunch hours. They also do not have public restrooms so be prepared if you have a long wait time. read more

Ambiance: The location here is so convenient and in a walkable area for those living in the more residential side of the Central West End or in the Cortex area. It's a quick bike ride or walking trip for nurses and medical students as well. The parking situation here is absolutely always absurd but isn't that the recipe for disaster you expect when dealing with an overcrowded strip mall especially in the Central West End. The ladies here always greet me with a smile and routinely encourage new customers to download their app. Notes: Smoothie King is now making some major changes and eliminating all added sugars, hydrogenated oils and adding more non-dairy, soy-free and vegan options which is exciting for paleo and allergy prone smoothie lovers. The lady at this location was so rude, a short dark skin lady with curly hair. . On May 20th around 6:30pm the store was not closed but she locked the door on 6 customers. When we notified her we want to place an order and we were angry she eventually opened the door and her excuse was the manger does not want customers in and out of the store. I sent my son up to Smoothie King to get me and his aunt a smoothie. After putting in his order for curbside delivery, he called in to have it delivered to the car. The young lady said okay, but 12mins later no one came out to the truck. So, he called back in and got someone else, and she agreed to bring them out but told him that they don't do curbside at that location...... If thats the case, tell the owner to take it off the app or remove it all together. My son had a ankle injury to his left ankle, and it was hard for him to walk, so he took advantage of the service. But here's the kicker, he was ready to give the lady a $5 tip the first time, but since it never came and he had to call back into the place, the other lady was not rude but basically was like we don't honor that service at this location and next you will need to come in. Its his fault they lost a tip and he always tips curbside because they don't have too and he feels its a blessing to receive it. They even used a special blender that they only use for those with food restriction. Smoothies just take a couple minutes to make unless there is a long line.
