This delectable place is located inside the Selden market in Norfolk. The customer service provided was outstanding. The lady was very nice and she was knowledgeable about the different kinds of s'mores. The s'mores tasted as if they were roasted at a campfire. My favorite was the blondie, it was moist and flavorful. I will definitely be returning.
S'mores Amore......the name itself speaks goodness. Ever since the pandemic, Sophia and I have been loyal customers every time we come to the area, going back to when they were a pop-up shop. It was almost 2 years since we've been here. Call it a busy Yelp life where you're checking out other places. Over the weekend, they held their 6th year anniversary, so it was finally time to catch up and see how they were doing. After we ate at Granby Waffle Shop, we walked over and were greeted to Kristine, one of the owners. We spoke quite a bit catching up on things both with Yelp and otherwise. She pointed out to us how many other stores have opened up in Selden Market, which is pretty diverse in retail and dining. Truly more to check out the next time we stop by. Anyway, I went on ahead and chose the 6-pack for the following items: -Ooh Bae Baybee (1 for Sophia and 1 for me) -Golden (for Sophia) -American Pie -Hazelnut Toffee Crunch -I Adore Mi A S'more (red velvet flavor) Everything was pretty good. I really can't pick out which one was the best. That's how good these selections are every time you order. But the best part about this visit was I was able to get the 6-pack for no charge at all. Since I had points saved up from my previous visits, I had enough to redeem the offer. If that's not cool, I don't know what is. Like before, a truly wonderful experience from these guys. Kristine and Dino have always made us and each follower welcome like they were long-life friends. That's what you call having loyal customers coming back to an atmosphere which is very chill. Definitely can't beat that. You betcha we'll be here again soon :)

S'mores Amore is an absolute gem located in Selden Market downtown. From the moment you walk up you're welcomed with the warmth of not just their delightful treats, but the incredible owners themselves. Their kindness and passion for what they do is apparent. I dropped by on Small Business Saturday with the aim of exploring more participants in the Great Hot Cocoa War (such a fun event). And I can honestly say S'mores Amore's entry into the cocoa war was by far my friend and mines favorite. For $5 they offered their golden oreo hot cocoa paired with one of their classic brownie s'mores. It was a sweet symphony of deliciousness. Their gooey homemade marshmallows, the decadent chocolate, and that graham cracker crust is such a delight all paired together. What makes this place even more special is knowing that every purchase is a way to support these amazing owners and their business. I definitely reccommend giving their treats a try. You can also find them sold in Wegmans in Virginia Beach.
Hot Chocolate Wars Review!! So I'm partial to anything s'mores let's start off with that!! The owners are so friendly and nice!! This spot is located inside Selden Market. The place is a walk-up establishment like you find in a mall so there's no designated seating per se, but there are communal tables and chairs directly across from it. The s'mores when fresh all taste the same to me, likely because the toastiness from the torching is overpowering, but it's still a gooey and delicious treat. I finished them off a few hours later and my taste buds could start to differentiate between the flavors. Although the room temp experience isn't as warm and gooey as the fresh experience, they're still bomb as heck. I surprisingly like the non-chocolate based flavors (Golden, Marshmallow with Pride (Fruity Pebbles), and Strawberry Dream) way better than the chocolate based ones (I Adore Mi A S'more (red velvet) and S'moreos). I ordered a flight of six and I'm so grateful that they offer this option for someone as indecisive and greedy as me. I like to try as much variety as possible and can never decide what to get. The associate was nice enough to separate one for my friend, but she had a poor attitude and didn't seem like she wanted to be there.
DELICIOUS! Stopped by this cute little spot in Seldan Market during lunch for something sweet and was not let down. There is literally something for everyone. I ordered the "Golden" Vanilla s'mores (just one! It's summer time so these calories count) and it was amazing. Not to mention FAST! My favorite moment was seeing the char form on the top of the s'mores while being torched to perfection. Look at how gooey and delicious the attached picture is! Stop by when you have a moment. I promise you won't be disappointed.

While I was in the area at another Yelp event, I stopped by S'mores Amore. Kristine is SUPER sweet and had a great recommendation to try for the first time: a blondie brownie. I went with the "Ooh Bae Baybee" and it was so good! I loved how it was torched on top which also added to the flavor. Can't wait to stop back in and try more!
The s'mores amore was so good! The service was nice it was a really cute shop in downtown Norfolk ! It is a really sweet snack but it's really really good paired with ice cream.
We visited Smores Amore for that delicious golden bread pudding. When i got there they had 3 pieces left, so i was happy i could grab 2. I was being nice to allow someone else to get the last piece. Lol. The owners are very nice. He explained we can call ahead to preorder. So that's great!!! My favorite smore is the blondie. Its very gooey and delicious. The other flavors are also good as well... But that blondie hits different!! Lol. They also sell ice cream which I'm definitely gonna have to try. Its always a good time at S'mores Amore!! I have wanted try this place since I saw their little booth inside Wegman's forever ago. I'm never in this area but found myself here today. I mainly came to get my daughter a s'more, she's obsessed right now, but I got one to share with my husband too. I LOVED the a: I adore mi a-s'more. I'm usually not a fan of sprinkles on things, but toasted, you don't even notice them. Honestly, I wish I bought two, the explosion of flavors was so pleasant. Don't tell my husband but I honestly didn't want to share after that first nibble haha. My daughter enjoyed the strawberry dream. I'm not a fan of strawberry, but it tasted really fresh. My husband happily helped her finish it. The gentleman working at the counter was really nice, very informative and patient with us. Really cool guy, and made the entire experience positive. Just based on his great customer service and their delicious s'mores, I'd happily bring my kids back and get us all a 6 pack. Even if you're on the fence about ever coming back, be sure to sign up for their rewards system! You'll be back, trust me.
Finally got a chance to check out Smores Amore after returning from the west coast! Theyre located in Selden Market with a bunch of other cool shops. My husband and I came here on a Sunday morning. I was lucky that there was no line! The smores look fantastic. They have different flavors and even torch them right in front of you. I decided on getting a box of 6. The blondie, matcha, peanut butter, oreo, strawberry, and ube. I love that the container has separate sections for each smore as well! Super friendly owners as well. I would come back just for them! They gave us forks and napkins as well, so we could just eat them right away. The matcha was hands down my favorite. The matcha flavor was prominent without being too overpowering, and was a great contrast to the sweetness. My husband loved the peanut butter, as he's a huge fan of reese's. I love the sound of the seasonal/holiday smores. Also, they have an amazing strawberry candle. My husband and I always forget to light our candles, but this one we have no problem remembering to light it. It smells amazing. Like a strawberry cake in the oven. Whenever I come back to the Norfolk area,I will definitely be back.

So so good! We had a birthday treat for a friend here instead of cake or cupcakes! It was the right amount of sweet and decadence for me. Everyone enjoyed their options. It's in a booth in the Selden market There's only one person at the counter so it may take some time to get your order if you have several people. There were small seating areas in the middle promenade, but no seating at the food stand Cute spot with a fun idea. I'd go back *public parking garage is about a 10 min walk if you take your time. read more

Nice experience at the s'more spot warm and sweet welcome and very touristy for people who want to experience a s'more outside the campground. Definitely will be coming back here again once we closed in on our new home it was definitely worth the experience and cost for what we got which was the 6 pack for 24.99 plus tax and she did the torch like you would to make indoor s'more. She did give us a background and told us about a festival coming in where local and dmv businesses and told us about how If you get a shirt you get 10 % off and on your birthday you get a free 6 packs definitely will be buying me one and my husband and they are available online if they don't have the shirt available. read more

Today I was lucky enough to be greeted by the owner herself, she is always a ray of sunshine when I visit. After some friendly small talk, she excitedly shared the newest addition to their menu. Cheesecake, but not just any cheesecake, UBE Cheesecake . As someone who is obsessed with cheesecake and all things Ube I was instantly sold. Of course I grabbed some of one usual goodies for the family back home. They're always a hit but the smell as she roasts them in front of you reminds me of summer every time. But I HAD to try that cheesecake on the spot and as soon as it hit my taste buds I was in heaven. Aside from their amazing sweets the team is always attentive and kind, the service is top notch and they offer a loyalty point system to reward returning customers. Stopped in for a little treat. I was not disappointed. I had the Original S'Mores Amore brownie. I went with the suggested "medium" toasting on the marshmallow. Beautiful presentation. Taste was great. Everything is "to go", but seating is nearby. Takes a bit for them to prepare each brownie. Extra friendly service. I would stop here again for a treat. read more

I'm a s'mores fan, yet I never imagined they could be so diverse. I've heard & read about S'mores Amore but never had the chance to try them out until recently. Even a few months ago, when I was at Selden Arcade for #BakedAF's Yelp event, it didn't occur to me to check out SA. But finally stopped by after I picked up my Yelp Elite box from JackEats down the hall. Um, holy crap, this place is awesome. It is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth and the myriad of options is perfect. On top of that, Duane & Kristine were so friendly and helpful. They were technically closed when I stopped by on Friday, 3/12, but they were gracious enough to allow me to make a quick purchase. I left with a six pack - 2 Ooh Bae Baybee! (ube coconut s'mores blondie), 2 S'Moreos (cookies & cream s'mores brownie), a PB OMG! (chocolate peanut butter s'mores brownie) and their Original. I shared them with my mom and we devoured them within 2 days. In case you're wondering - SA's desserts aren't too sweet. There is a nice balance and the marshmallow is nice and gooey. Also, I honestly never knew they blowtorched the s'mores. I would've recorded that because it reminded me of saganaki when that's flamed up at the Greek restaurants. Ah, the spectacle of it all. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with S'mores Amore's desserts, and Duane and Kristine are fantastic with their product and service. This dessert is layers of sweet delight. I highly recommend getting 6 at a time. At the very least. This dessert is soft cookie, brownie,and fluffy vanilla marshmallow. All handmade. My husband picked 3 and I picked 3. We tasted one right away and then we brought the rest home. We popped then in the microwave for 10 seconds and they are magnificent. When you are there she torches them to your specifications.oh so GOOD. Perfection. Their flavors change. Golden: taste like a Christmas cookie to me. My favorite S'mOreos: chocolate with a baby Oreo on top Ooh Bae Baybee: taste like chocolate goodness. My second favorite Special for Halloween Butta beeah'- this is a cool Harry Potter inspired. Taste sweet and buttery Great Golden Pumpkin: also a nice fall flavor AJ Amore: coconut and chocolate. Yum This is our first time. This will not be our last. Treats everyone needs in their lives! Fresh, homemade marshmallows cleverly sandwiched with graham crackers and complimentary brownie or blondie pairings, available in staple and seasonal s'more varieties (see menu pic), roasted to order with a mini torch! S'moreo and PB OMG Brownies made my kids happy campers! Perfectly composed: rich brownie base topped with a sweet, airy marshmallow. The torch makes for that distinct s'mores texture and temperature, warm semi crispy exterior, gooey inside. $8.50+tip is a good price considering the portion size and unique artisan dessert styling. They do have a larger size but regular met our needs. Smiling, friendly service from the counter employee. When I teased about needing to visit the gym after eating my treats, owner said "coming here is the easiest way to leave with a 6 pack" (of s'mores brownies of course). I went to Smore's Amore for the first time yesterday because they were taking part in the Hot Cocoa War. I had the small sample of the Smore's hot cocoa along with a original smore. The smore was made in house and you can see one of the workers creating smores with a torch. The smore was nice and gooey. However, the hot cocoa was very sweet. read more

I finally caught up with S'mores Amore after months of missing them at their Selden Market kiosk in Norfolk. As luck would have it they were doing a pop up event close to my home at Commonwealth Brewing. I was all over that and hustled over prior to them selling out. As suspected they were busy. The owner Duane was all fired up, literally. He loves his job a bit too much...ha! The menu had a few choices, but it had to be the Oh Bay Baybee for a first time. Ube is a purple yam originating from the Philippines. It's basically a sweet potato. Duane put my selection on the wheel and lit his torch, see video. His smile and enthusiasm for his product is exciting. This is a cool business with room to grow and potential for franchising. Right now it's a single store operation in Norfolk. Or look for them to pop up in HRVA. I really enjoyed the Ube Smores and who knew it paired so well with beer. You can purchase S'mores Amore at Wegman's in Virginia Beach. Torch sold separately. LOL! SO FREAKIN DELICIOUS!!!! Everything was 100/100! I can't explain how delicious everything was here and it travels well! Lol ( THATS VERY IMPORTANT!) Love love this place and the owners were such the sweetest people ever! Guys go check them out! You won't regret it. We tried S'mores Amore when we went to the Dickens After Dark in Nauticus. They have a pop-up there and we were thrilled that we will be able to try this delicious treat. We ordered the Original S'mores Amore brownie and the Golden S'mores Amore Blondie. We were fascinated by the way they prepare the smores. They use the kitchen blow torch for the campfire heat effect. As much as I like the idea of Smores, I cannot finish it because they tend to get sweet. However S'mores Amores' smores were not too sweet and they are very delicious. They do pop-ups in the Selden Market and they sell a pack at Wegmans. You will not be disappointed once you try them. read more

Ooooh baby I am obsessed with these desserts!! S'mores Amore is a cute pop op at Seldon Market in downtown Norfolk. I love this little community because it gives local businesses a platform to share their products, and man did S'mores Amore blow up!! They started off small and now sell their products at Wegmen's in Virginia Beach !! Kristine and Duane are the sweetest owners and will go out of their way to show you a product they are so proud of! This is an elevated s'mores - it's everything you want and crave from that nostalgic bon fire treat, but way less messy and a whole lot more satisfying! The bottom is usually a brownie/blondie base with a homemade marshmallow that they "Fire Up!" with a blow torch to give it that perfect softness!! My favorite so far is the Ube s'mores! If you're not familiar with ube, you will just have to try it and you'll be hooked as well!! Now that I work downtown, it's going to be hard to stay away! :) read more

Bomb. Delicious. Amazing. Worth Every Penny. I've been having my eye on S'mores Amore for a minute now. I recently had a chance to try them out when visiting Selden Market with some friends, and they are SO good! Like what a unique concept they have here; Different flavored blondies with a gram cracker crust and a marshmallow top!? Yes GAWD I'm here for all of it, and then when Duane (the owner) takes that blow torch and toasts the marshmallow on top of each blondie right in front of you! It is everything! I got a six pack with four different flavors. The "Ooh Bae Baybee" ube flavor will have you going "OOH WEE" (my absolute fave), the "So Matcha Amore" matcha green tea flavor will have you wanting amore, and the "S'moreo" & "PB OMG!" flavors are delicious as well. All in all S'Mores Amore provides excellent sweet treats that are a step outside of the usual froyo, ice cream cones, cakes, or cookies. I would love to see them expand into a bigger space in the future. read more

Seen many of their pop ups and tried their s'mores from Wegmans years ago. Always loved how they have such a diverse menu. We were at Selden market yesterday for the Filipino American Heritage day and they had a turon and champorado flavor! We had to try that and it was YUMMY! A unique twist on s'mores, this couple has taken this little dessert up a notch with their flavorful offerings! They have the original s'mores, peanut butter, Almond Joy, bread pudding, Oreos, and ube! They even have s'mores sundaes. I ordered a s'mores sundae. It was so refreshing, I scarfed down the sundae in a hot minute! If you're looking for a dessert to try, why not try a s'more! It was like an explosion in my mouth!!!! So full of Amore for these S'mores!!!! As a lover of all things oooey and gooey, my love for marshmallows is endless!!! Imagine how excited I was to walk into this gem!!! In my mind, I thought I'll just have a sample..... yea, ok!!! Samples later and a six pack in hand I am a total fan of their work!!! I love that the s'mores are not flambéed until your purchase them which is a huge plus!!! Watching her light up the torch and flame these cuties was a dream lol. Don't judge me!! My favorites were the Golden and the Passion Fruit! The Golden was like a campfire dream of a child coming true in every bite!!!! It was sooooo gooey!!!! The Passion Fruit has chunks of pineapple in it!!!! Ohhhh taste buds rejoiced in fruity festiveness!!! The beautiful soul who assisted us was such a gem!!!! Delightful conversation, wonderful recommendations of things to see and do as well as some history as to how the business started and the culinary love their family has!! I am kicking myself a trillion times for not making it out here to visit S'mores Amore sooner! Duane, the owner, and his wife Kristine are two of the friendliest people around. They have a very cute set up located inside of Selden Market in downtown Norfolk. I love not only the location but also how many things are surrounding it. This would make for a great pit stop for a delicious treat while you are out exploring Norfolk. Today we had the absolute pleasure of tasting all of the variety of S'mores. Talk about heaven! There was not one that I wouldn't get. They are all just so creative and delicious. This is such a great concept that Duane concocted and to have such a helpful mate in Kristine is what makes this place such a joy to visit. They bring positive and kind vibes but also such a thorough break down of everything you are about to experience. It truly doesn't get any better. I brought with me my family from London. My sister in law absolutely loved everything and repeatedly told me how much she enjoyed speaking with Kristine. We are definitely making another visit before they head back home. Lucky for me I get to visit numerous more times! I pray this place makes it big!!! read more

S'MORE THAN A FEEEELINGGGGG!!! Okay, now that I have your attention, and I have you singing Boston's classic hit, YOU NEED to hit this place up. These aren't your typical campfire s'mores. These could just be the 757s answer to a gourmet edition we've all been waiting for, set to keep you "fired up" all year round and craving more. New to Selden Market, it's attracting a lot of attention on the weekends, and rightly so. The flavors on offer are delicious. My personal favorite is the peanut butter 'PB OMG', peanut butter chips are mixed in to the brownie, and topped off with a fluffy vanilla marshmallow - which when asked how it's made, the owner will smile and tell you "magic". And that's exactly what these babies taste like; pure magic. The new flavor on the street is somewhat of a unicorn. Purple in color, inspired by the purple yam used in the Philippines, with coconut and ube flavor mixed into their golden blondie, (which you should also try). Just wow - so moist, crunchy, soft and sweet with a hint of savory, it's just an experience I urge you to try if passing through Norfolk; there's always samples! Also, for that special foodie in your life - the six pack makes a great unique gift! This place has me all Oliver Twist like please sir I want s'more (sorry, not sorry), so with that being said, I will 100% be back. read more
