So excited to show off the goodies we had along with all the strangers goodies that let me record their food as well This particular location is in Williamsburg Brooklyn at the @marshapjohnsonstatepark I will add the names of the vendors along with a rating below. There were so any vendors I wish we could of tried them all make sure you visit for yourself! PS that view from the waterfront section of the park is just gorgeous @bigmozz 5/5 those mozzarella sticks are crunchy loaded with cheese and can fill you up quick! @bibibakerynyc 5/5 that baklava was perfect amount of sweet and nutty. @cbaoasianbuns 4/5 was not really a fan of the chewy chicken but the rest of the bun was great. @noodle.lane 5/5 the cold noodles on a hot day was just PERFECT loved the peanut flavor. @woodfirededibales 5/5 oven roasted bone marrow and pizza were delicious thanks to the strangers opinions @toastieland 5/5 I know it's just a grilled cheese but it was beautiful and man whatever butter was used was REALLY GOOD lol Ume tea 5/5 I could not find the IG page for this but I asked the stranger what she thought of it and she said 5/5 for sure she liked the refreshing taste @fluffysnyc 2/5 I was really disappointed with this "fluffy" pancake. The texture was not fluffy at all it was basically a pound cake. @duckseasonNYC 3/5 for the burger as the duck bacon burger did it have enough bacon flavor 5/5 for the poutine just perfect @pettiscobrazuca I did not try this as I was already full but that presentation was @rolledrinks 4/5 they ran out of coconut water so I opted for the sugarcane drink so good but SO sweet haha @bonabonaicecream 5/5 delicious flavorful and the marshmallow on top was the final touch it needed. What an experience went to try the famous ilocos empanadas and they were amazing it's a small place but we enjoyed walking and looking at the different types of food. I thought it was a bigger place or festival but it was enough for me I just was happy I was able to taste the empanadas. read more

I've been going to Smorgasburg since the beginning when it was small and coupled with a farmers market. The farmers market is gone and now there is so much food to enjoy. Some of my original favorites are not longer there, but there are plenty of new ones to keep me happy. Tosh's Patty's serves up Jamaican parties and they are delicious. I grabbed a beef one and it was so good went back for the chicken curry version. The fillings are well seasoned and the pastry is light and flakey. Very good. OUA Thai Sausage specializes in sausage from Northern Thailand. It's filled with aromatics and it's wonderful. They have a bunch of options to how it is served, I got the Bao version and it was heavenly. Jase BBQ had the longest line of the day and serves Caribbean inspired BBQ. They had a plate for $25 which included 2 meats and 2 sides which was a great deal. Both the brisket and pulled pork were excellent, so succulent, tender and perfectly seasoned. The BBQ sauce had a nice tang to it. The coleslaw is creamy and refreshing. The cornbread is an excellent version. Yakitori Tatsu serves Japanese meat skewers cooked over charcoal. I don't know how they do it, but they just melt in your mouth. Home Frites, you can't go wrong here, they serve delicious crispy fries and have a bunch of sauces to choose from for dipping. They also have some good lemonade. 88 Coffee serves up some delicious and bold Vietnamese Coffee. Baonana offers classic banana pudding as well as Ube and Cookie Butter varieties. It's light and creamy and scrumptious. Prices tend to be on th high side here, but the quality is there. Most vendors accept cards. read more

Honestly .... What's not to like about Smorgasburg? Tons of vendors with all varieties of cuisine. Varying price points. Some of lines are long and you have to wait to place an order but that comes with the territory of a food market. Ambiance is great. Everyone seems to be there for a good time. Lots of families, couples, friend squads. Def recommend if looking for a fun NYC activity. read more

There are so many options here but just enough so it's not completely overwhelming. The lobster rolls from Red Hook are the best I've ever had (better than I've had in New England). The lobster melts in your mouth and it's so fresh... just buttery goodness. The tacos from Carlitos were so juicy and flavorful and super yummy. The paella was also made to order and the chef ensured that I received as much seafood as he could add to my plate, super appreciative! Also, do not come here without trying the maple lemonade (the camera did not drink first in this case). I had the watermelon lemonade and it was super refreshing. Loved my experience here! read more

Smorgasburg had a decent amount of vendors. Savory items were abundant, but those looking for a variety of sweet will be disappointed. Seating was fairly abundant. The park setting could use some updating, but Domino park is a few blocks South and a nice way to burn some of the calories you just packed on. I'm glad I went, but too many other options to give this a second visit. read more

The Smorgasburg I went to is located in a park in Williamsburg and has other parks nearby to eat and picnic. They have portable bathrooms as well as picnic tables there to eat at aftee getting your food. In regards to food, talk about OPTIONS, they've got a little bit of everything here! From fruited drinks inside of actual fruits, to ramen, bbq, Spanish food, Argentinian sandwiches, cheesesteaks, all types of freshly squeezed juices, lobster rolls, and the list keeps going on. I've been here before but this was the first time I've been back since covid first struck. It was amazing. I ended up getting a Japanese fried chicken sandwich with hot chili sauce, and an Argentinian steak sandwich with red pepper, egg, and a house mayo. To drink I got a house made pomegranate hibiscus lemonade from a different vendor. ALL of it was BOMB.com lmaoo. The only cons I'd take away from this place is: 1) they don't allow dogs and 2) it can get pretty packed so you might be in a long line for the foods you want. read more

Great vibes here on a sunny, summer Saturday! So many different vendors selling a wide assortment of food. I felt like the prices were pretty decent for small businesses, nothing that felt too overpriced. I ended up getting an Indonesian bowl (so yummy) and a lemonade with maple syrup (so refreshing) Would definitely come back and would recommend as a fun summer activity. Seating is widely available and great view of the skyline. read more

I love this Smorgasburg compared to the LA location ohmygosh the views here while you sit and eat or walk around is such a vibe ~~~ Expected pricier food, but we always eat family style with friends to try a bit of everything. Go on a sunny nice day to picnic or something! read more

I'm surprised how I never reviewed Smorgasbord, we have been coming since it first started. We have been able to witness how the overall food vendor evolved over the course of last few years. I always love coming here, as there are so many great food vendors. I like how additional seating and restrooms have been added which definitely helps. One can definitely a great picnic out of it, this is a one best weekend activities one can indulge in Williamsburg. I'd highly recommend coming here. read more

A nice center for many different small businesses. Great variety and wait time isn't bad. Unfortunately, it can be a little pricey for a small portion which takes away from the experience of being able to try many spots in one while sitting on the rocky ground. read more

Lots of food options for you and your group to choose from! I went when it was on/off raining and most of the stands stayed open through the brief showers. Most of the food offered is comfort food from a wide range of different cultures. There are also dessert stands and a little bar there too! There are also porta potty restrooms, hand washing stations, and a water bottle filling area. One weird thing: the security person at the entrance wouldn't let mine and a few other dogs in (my dog is 23lbs); however, there were some dogs that did get let in that were enormous (100+ lbs), and that inconsistency is why I gave it 4 stars. This is my favorite location, though because of the waterfront views and setting beside Marsha P. Johnson State Park! read more

Williamsburg is a beautiful destination to be. One of my favorites during my recent visit is Smorgasberg. Location is a walking distance from the ferry and to nearby attractions of the place. It has a beautiful water view and the city scenery is simply amazing. It is interesting to try variety of foods from carts, the participating vendors were arrange in an easy to follow flow system. Pricing is very reasonable. You could use very authentic quality of foods anytime. Friendly staff. The dining area is clean, there are spot for trash, recycles and other things. read more

Lines here are definitely long so come with a couple of friends to wait at multiple spots! Love that they have a seating area to eat, some of the other smorgasburg don't have any seating area. read more

Food options are endless and are from every culture you can imagine. Tucked away in a small cup-de-sac you'll find everything from fresh fruit, grilled steak, giant mozzarella sticks, freshly shucked oysters and more, along with a full service bar! Lines the can be long the later you come, but most of the time they are well worth the wait. Most vendors have great customer service. Prospect park is a gem in itself. You can grab you food/drinks & sit on picnic tables in the center of everything or I suggest grabbing a few items and heading out to a nice grassy patch and sitting down to enjoy the beauty of the park. This was my first time at Smorgasburg it was definitely a delight, I brought plastic containers and zip loc bags some I didn't need to finish everything and could taste more. If you come early you can take a look at what vendors are there and then make your purchases the more packed it is the harder it is to see who is selling what. Definitely recommend coming with a group of ppl to help tackle some of the lines lol. read more

Probably one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in Brooklyn. I was first introduced to Smorgasberg last year when visiting a friend. I immediately loved the outdoors setup and the variety of different vendors. Also, there are onsite ATMs, which makes things that much better. The variety of food was incredible. I was able to choose anywhere from Buttermilk Channel's famous fried chicken to the best yeast donut I've ever consumed in my lifetime from Dough. I was a foodie in heaven. My first visit I tried about 4-5 vendors. I did not try any one food item that let me down. This year the setup of vendors differs from last year, give or take a few change ups. Overall, an awesome concept with a variety of awesome food vendors from all over New York. read more

A GREAT experience! This outdoor food-ganza with tents featuring artisanal food and drinks is an excellent example of food that taste great. Why? The people who make them are passionate and love what they make. First tried the oysters. PHENOMENAL! Shucked slowly as to not spill the precious liquor from inside the shells. Fresh as if picked out of the ocean right in front of you. Worth the $$$$ if you can afford it. Had to satisfy my carnivorous appetite afterwards. Had a turkey leg the size of my head, but what stood out to me was the slow roasted pork belly glazed with maple syrup. Simple like most of the best things are. There's a long line for this one BBQ tent. Waited 30-45min on line. Not worth it. But what was worth it was the oven-pit on wheels for pizza made right in front of you! $5 a slice, worth every penny. Last words: There's something for everyone! Come early to beat the crowds. Brooklyn Brewery is close so I suggest eating here before heading over there. Have fun, my friends! read more

This place is a one time place to attend. I don't think it's organized properly. Plus good luck finding parking. I paid for parking it took over 20 minutes for them to park my car. The food is overpriced for just basic food and drinks. Also, bring cash even though they have an atm. I was just expecting more and being blown away from the delicious food. This is foodie heaven. The vendors outdo each other in terms of their innovative foods, and everything we tasted we fantastic. Gao Taco was amazing, utilizing crispy Indian style bread to house a pork or vegan taco; both superb. John's Juice was great, although they are going to need to find a way to get the juice out quicker, it's way too labor intensive the way they do it now. Loved the sushi poke bowl, a butternut squash donut, and the maple lemonade. I would be here every weekend if we lived in Brooklyn, but it's now just another great excuse to come to NY. A great variety of vendkrs, excellent food, and awesime atmosphere. Everything was very tasty (especially the lobster rolls, the frenchfries with various dipping sauces, and the macaroons). The only drawback was that some prices were pretty high for a street fair. All in all, a great way to spend your Sunday afternoon. read more
