    Mac N Cheese Hawt Dog
    Chloe L.

I came back for our Newaygo summer and was so excited to get the mac & cheese hot dog again! Unfortunately, it had been removed from the menu, but the cooks were incredibly accommodating and made one for me anyway. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and they really went above and beyond to make my first day back a great one. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Food was great! My husband had the reuben on a Gluten Free bun. It was pulled high with corned beef. It was delicious! My olive burger and onion petals were great. The bun for my burger was so good! The only thing stopping me from 5 starts is we waited almost 45 minutes for our food. When we finally got food we had to ask for silverware and napkins. The ranch is out of a bottle so it takes like vinegar. For a place this nice they should make their own ranch. The place is beautiful and right on the water.

A lovely spot with a great relaxing view of the water. We got their bucket or margarita which was an amazing price. We also got their fried calamari which was tender and delicious. We tried their jumbo smoked wings which were basically smoked chicken drums which were juiced and crispy, they did have a few feathers on them still and wish they had a bit more flavor internally but overall lovely service and a great spot to be!

Ahi tuna bruschetta on Naan bread really good $27.99

Friday evening with reservations, which is strongly recommended. Using a gift card we splurged. Maroon mule was delicious, nice change from my normal glass of wine. The ahi tuna bruschetta appetizer was huge. Really wish the would ooffer small and large sizes for their appetizers. It was really good! Highly recommend it $27.99. Blue gill basket was okay, only because we like a crisper batter. tthe short ribs special with wasabi mashed potatoes and brocollini was good. My big complaint, every visit when we order appetizers and a meal, kitchen is very slow to get the appetizers out and then immediately follow up with dinner. I sent our dinners back to keep warm...which at this point of management should really get their kitchen better organized.

the food is great pub food. cocktails excellent. that's the two stars. they deserve 4 for food. but the bad experience of service means it took away from any other rating. inside is noisy, outside is not. in the summer inside is what you want if you don't like a sweaty dinner. shoulder season they open the garage doors to the lake which is lovely. But, the worst part is the service. We waited over an hour AFTER ordering and watched a table of 3 (we were 2) get steaks and burgers after our fried fish. The waitress wasn't proactive to give us input. I had to ask for my appetizer. Side salad was 30 minutes after first ordering. (waitress said short a line cook, manager said we are fully staffed). Why can't people just be proactive and tell you what's up. I'd rather someone say "sorry, we are backed up, sorry we forgot your meal, sorry a cook walked out" than have me sit and sit and wonder and get upset. we are in rural Michigan and i was raised in this area. i live in a urban area now, but no restaurant rural or urban would leave you like this.

This is a great place. Menu from burgers to pizza to nice entrees. Had duck wanton appetizer. Wife had walleye and I had salmon both very good. They have outdoor seating in summer. Have a 4 because it's a bit noisy.

Food so so, drinks very weak, and way to loud, prices way to high. Tries to be fancy but fails. Sad.

Too expensive. Not worth it. It should have stayed like the old restaurant. Just a nice place with good affordable dishes.

The back entrance starts in a narrow dimly lit hallway that then goes up a dark stairway to another door. Inside is another hallway that leads to the bar area of the restaurant. From here it's confusing because you don't know where to check in. Located here are some high top tables, plus the bar. Halfway into the room in an opening on the right which is another room with booths and regular tables with TV's playing sports. Here the atmosphere is very sports bar. Lastly on the opposite side of the bar area you entered in is another hallway that leads to a video game area and the front entrance. Also on the restaurant side is a door leading to a small outdoor patio area. The menu here is very unique with a great selection of Sandwiches and Hamburgers. I ordered the Pot Belly Pig Sandwich ($15), which is Smoked pork, ham, bacon, american and jack cheese, topped with a bourbon glaze on a pressed ciabatta. I upgraded to Cajun Tater Tots ($2). The sandwich was delicious. It was a great combination of flavors and was very filling. The tots were somewhat spicy and very good. The person I was with ordered The Amish Black & Blue Burger ($14), which is a Blackened burger topped with melted bleu cheese, deep fried onions, fries and homemade bleu dressing. She stated many times how great the burger was. The service was very good with quick and attentive service. Overall an easy 5 star review. Would I return? Yes. It's not close so it'll have to be a special occasion type of thing, but definitely yes. We left through the front entrance and their was a side walk along the side of building leading to the back. A much better way to come and go.

They have a great menu and I've really enjoyed almost everything I've had to eat here. Not a great place to go if you're on a diet, but they do have some yummy salads. People are more likely to go here for things like loaded tots, burgers, and burritos. Smothered with cheesy goodness, of course. They have cheap drinks, friendly service, and overall good vibes.

The staff was extremely friendly and vibe was perfect, not too loud where you can't hear a conversation but also not super quiet. I wound up ordering a flight of the ciders, because I couldn't decide which one to go with, and they were all delicious. The blueberry cider was probably my favorite if I had to pick just one. I also decided to order the beer cheese and pretzels, which were also very good. If you're in the Newaygo area, definitely stop by for a beer (or cider)!

I ordered a flight of 4 beers and cider; at around $9 for a flight, the price was more than right to enjoy a variety of flavors. My favorite was the passionfruit sour, but all were great! I was surprised to even like the spruce-flavored citrus IPA (after taking a sip of the sample my friend ordered) - which is something I might not have tried myself. Also, I'm not usually a brown ale fan, but I thought the Coconut Brown Ale was delicious (candy-bar-esque in the best way). My fiancé and I split the spicy beer cheese appetizer, which came with soft baked pretzels and was a yummy pairing. I did not know what to expect from this brewery and, after visiting, would absolutely recommend it and return here - noting the variety of drinks, food (much more of a restaurant environment than anticipated!), and seating (bar seats, high top tables, booths, regular tables, even outdoor seating).
