I used to go to the Ardmore location very frequently, like at least once a month (and I live in West Philly). I just tried the Bryn Mawr location for the first time. I'm super happy to see more vegetable options than previously! Also soooo happy they have daiya cheese now. Price went up a little since my last visit but it's worth it for more veggies and cheese options. Staff was friendly and attentive. This location always has some cleanliness problems but it was way cleaner than when it used to be Peace a Pizza. read more

Garlic and Diablo sauce (for a spicy kick), spinach, veal sausage, corn, caramelized onions,diced tomatoes, spicy corn and mushrooms. (I might have missed an extra cheese but the point is for $9 there's no limit to how many toppings you can add). For finishing touches, I got the goat cheese and truffle oil. (truffle oil can be a bit greasy though). Quick service and there are take-out boxes for leftovers next to the table of extra seasonings (crushed red pepper, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, etc). This is not the pizza that we typically enjoy. The crust lacked crisp and color. In my opinion pizza should have crispy bubbles and a little bit of charred edges. Also found it to be a bit expensive for what is being served. It was not horrible or anything. We just expected more. read more

I enjoy their pizzas and salads! I saw they took a favorite of mine off "the good egg" and was told they were no longer making that pizza which was a bummer. I ordered the so cal and asked if it was spicy and was told it was not. My mouth was on fire the entire time. I had to ask for some caesar dressing to cool off the spices. oh SNAP I love this pie!! For $8-10 you get an awesome, custom-made, fresh and filling pizza. Even on a busy night at 7 PM, I've never waited more than 15 minutes. This is my favorite place to get pizza. I have been coming here since this location opened, and my pizza is delicious every time. However, lately the service has been terrible. They are soooo slow and struggle to understand what you are ordering. Their pizza making skills are also questionable. The past few times I have been here, my pizza has had to be remade because of stupid mistakes they have made. The Ardmore location's service is MUCH BETTER. For anyone in the philadelphia burbs you should definitely check out Snap Custom Pizza and Hope's cookies on Lancaster Ave in Bryn Mawr! The 2 places are connected. Snap has amazing gf pizza that they make and prepare separately. Never had an issue at any of their locations and Hope's Cookies has certified gf cookies that are also prepared and baked in a separate oven. I admittedly was skeptical when they re-branded Peace-a-pizza (which had been my favorite pizza place of all time). The concept was cool, I liked being able to have my pizza made in front of me and fresh. Also, the new decor has a clean yet rustic vibe that I enjoyed. That being said, the pizza was just subpar. The crust was bland and a bit tough, which set the tone for the rest of the pizza. I did enjoy the fresh toppings (I had the farmer's market), but even though I had asked for no peppers, they were scattered across my pizza. The worst part was the oil. I went with 2 others and all of our pizza's were covered in oil to the point where we would pick up a slice and the oil would run down all over our hands and arms. We were glistening and greasy by the end. I would not return for pizza, but would be willing to try their salad's or grain bowls because I enjoy the ambiance and the workers. read more

I love this place. I go here at least twice a week (many weeks 3-5 times!). The food is so fresh, so delicious and I always leave satisfied whether I picked up a salad or a pizza. Sometimes it can be slow, due to rush hour or just newly training employees, but they are clearly working in their speed and organization. The staff is very friendly, restaurant always clean and if you ever have a complaint or are frustrated with your experience, they really try to fix the situation and enhance your experience. 10/10 rec to anyone- always bring my visitors here. read more

The food is very fresh and we love the pizza, however, they need to keep on top of the clean up. The tables and floor are always dirty and it seems to be getting worse. I know at least three people who stopped going specifically because of the messiness. I hope management sees this and is more diligent on keeping the place a good place for dining in. read more

Since high school, all the way through college, and now several years out, I've been coming to Hope's and its pizza counterpart. Tonight was my first Hope's encounter with Snap Custom Pizza present. For the first time in a decade, I left Hope's with a sour taste in my mouth no fault to the yummy cookies or Hope's own staff. My friend and I grabbed our dessert and found a spot among the centralized tables of pizza and cookie eaters. Eventually, we were the only customers remaining and the staff began their end of night procedures around us. All of a sudden, the background music's volume substantially increased causing my friend and I to both look at each other and assume we had reached closing time. However, it was only 10:15PM so we double checked the store's door and website to confirm the closing time wasn't for another 45 minutes and continued chatting, choosing to believe the staff needed some extra vibes to amp them up for their home stretch. Right after the volume increase, I noticed a Snap Custom Pizza staff member glaring at us but, I dismissed it. 20 minutes later however, the music increased again, this time to a point where it was undeniably too difficult to talk over, and again, a Snap Custom Pizza staff member smirked in our direction. Without question, this was our queue to leave even though they were prepping a pizza order for another customer who just walked in the door. I am a total food lover and have eaten at places ranging from Le Bec Fin to the side of the road in a remote Vietnam province. Never before have I left a meal with such an unpleasant feeling (and that includes the time I ate pig intestine). Even when eating street food in foreign countries with eatery staff who had good reason to be visibly frustrated with my presence given that I couldn't read their menu, I've been shown more courtesy. I have worked in the food customer service industry and remember how annoying it was to have someone walk in a few minutes before closing, dashing my hopes of getting home earlier but, in this industry, you're paid to serve customers until the store closes. Not only were we well beyond five minutes away from closing time but, we weren't interfering with their ability to get a head start on closing other than mopping the floor. It almost felt like we were being targeted because of our conversation (which at times, referenced various aspects of today's political climate from both sides of the party line and would've been audible to the staff as the floor began to thin out). They dutifully served the incoming customer but were actively trying to get us to leave for some reason or another. While I was previously looking forward to trying the buzzed about pizza, I'm not sure I'm willing to stomach this particular location's customer service. Extremely fresh, delicious Pizza. I ordered the Mexique pizza. I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the well balanced flavors of chicken, bbq sauce, cheese, caramelized onions and peppers. The dough was obviously fresh and just the right thickness. And the size of the individual pizza was also impressive. Although I am sure most college students could easily eat the entire pie, since my college days are well in my past and my appetite therefore not quite what it was, I was unable to eat the entire pizza in one sitting. What was leftover though, made for a delicious breakfast the next morning! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I asked to have the cilantro lime cream sauce on the side, but that information was not relayed on to the individual who produced the final product. He did apologize when I mentioned I had asked for it with the sauce on the side, and offered to wipe it off. Not exactly what I had in mind. I just took it as it was and was still very happy with it. I have already mentioned the quality of their pizza to several other people who have gone on to try it and we're equally impressed. read more
