They said they were pizza (made sense since it was NYE) and I waited to pick it up. Now, I'm born and raised in the Bx, NY. Home of the best pizza in the world. The pizza here at Palermo's is good. Too thick for me; but they have a nice flavor profile in the sauce. I'm sure the pie is even better fresh out of the oven. The cheese lovers calzone tasted even better. My only issue with that, was the crust was too thin. They mixed the two up. Haha. They could have put two containers of sauce in the box with the calzone so if you order it to take home ask for the extra sauce. I look forward to going back and dining in. Eating the pie fresh out of the oven and some of their other dishes as well. Definitely recommend.

The ravioli was well filled and the sauce was outstanding. My Stromboli was heavy on the melted cheese to the point it was difficult to find the meatballs. But what really stood out,aside from flavor and sauce (on the side) was the dough. Light, just the right amount of crisp without reminding you of a burnt pizza crust. Service was outstanding. Robert was attentive without being obtrusive. Pricing is reasonable, with a nice mix of prices for any budget. Palermo's is upscale dining at modest prices and well worth a visit.
