Tried to do online ordering today, but it was down. No big deal, so I went in and ordered the old fashioned way, and I'm glad I did. The man who took my order was so nice! Repeated my order to make sure he has it right and then struck up some convo, which was a pleasant touch. Then I moved on to the person who was dressing my sandwich. He asked me how my day was going and follow up questions. The art of conversation and customer service is usually lost on fast food places, but today Jersey Mikes knocked it out of the park. I was impressed and knew their review needed an update as soon as I walked out of there. Oh I've also learned you have to have your sandwich made Mikes Way, the olive and vinegar mix works perfectly to soften up the bread. So if you skipped them in the past for my last review. I was told it would be "4 minutes," but it actually took more than 12 minutes. At one point, my order was just sitting behind the counter instead of in the pickup area, and I had to flag someone down to ask if it was mine.
