Great blend of a serious player yet music, ambience, and a real Player owner at the establishment.

Great pizza. Great bartenders. Fine atmosphere. Wonderful pool tables all-around. Easy place to get in last minute on a late Friday night.

The baguette was full of complex flavours and each bite showed it's true colours Their breads are definitely artisan made The croissant was also amazing with its flakey layers. It was buttery but not overwhelming. The bread pudding was also delicious but not my style. I wish it had a few more apple chunks to every bite, I think that would add some extra freshness to the taste. They also sell a lot of goods in the store like canned fish, jams, and chocolates!

As well other customers, service was so slow, The staff even called the previous customer the B---- word under there tongues which i heard when she also complained. I requested a refund and as told they do not know how and gave me a coffee card. I spent $12 for a latte and muffin for the experience. I usually do not complain, however the staff was just chatting with there friends and felt zero respect for customer service. Again I have been going for years multiple locations, never had and issue. The food quality and coffee is one of the best in town.

I was glad to visit on a Sunday morning while taking a walk with my boyfriend in his neighbourhood. When we arrived, it was quite busy. The coffee shop is small, but charming with limited seating available. The menu mainly contains basic coffee shop items as well as a variety of baked goods. We ordered an iced specialty coffee with ice cream and a small latte. I also chose the Tiramisu danish and we nibbled on it while waiting for our coffee. The danish was suggested by the cashier as one of the more popular items. She was completely right, because this baked treat was heavenly. The outside was like a croissant, flakey and buttery and paired with a delicious tiramisu custard on the inside. We also grabbed a scone for our walk home (which turned out to be delicious as well). The shop also sells local artisanal goods such as chocolate, sauces, and even loaves of bread. It's nice to gander around while waiting for your order. We enjoyed our coffee on the walk back home. The coffee is quite strong, which would be optimal for most coffee lovers. The flavour was deep and chocolate-y, but not bitter at all. I read on their site that they regularly rotate their bean selection. I would love to return to try more of their food items!

The tiramisu croissant ($6) was somehow dry yet soggy at the same time, thanks to the filling inside. The cheddar and chive scone ($5) was bland despite its name, and missing the soft, moist inside and crisp, crumbly outside a good scone should have. On the plus side, the barista brought the coffee to our table, which was a nice touch. The place is always busy, with limited seating both inside and out, so you might need to wait to get a seat or do takeout.
