I came in last week for a medium-length men's cut after finding this salon on yelp and seeing all the raving 5 star reviews. As a guy, I typically wouldn't have gone looking for a luxury haircut experience, but like many of my peers I have been working from home during Covid and used the time away from the office as an excuse to try something new with my hair and grow it out for the first time since I was in college. Now that my hair was long enough to experiment with some new styles, I was eager to get an appointment booked with someone as skilled as Alex to help me find a look that would work for me. As soon as I arrived, it was clear that Alex takes his craft seriously and he's done an incredible job designing an inviting and luxurious salon. I came prepared to my appointment with a few inspiration pictures to help demonstrate the kind of look I was hoping for. After reviewing the pictures with Alex, he talked me through his ideas for my hair and how we could actually go with a more modern, modified version of the type of cut I was looking for. Knowing how skilled of a stylist he is, I was happy to take his recommendations and let him work his magic. By the end of the haircut, I was blown away - this was hands down the most satisfied I've ever left a salon or barber! My whole life I've been so used to having to wait a few days or a week after a haircut before I started to like the way it looked, but not this time! For the first time in my life, I left a haircut appointment immediately feeling satisfied and confident in my look thanks to Alex's talent. Aside from receiving an awesome haircut, I also had a fantastic experience just chatting with Alex throughout the process. His story is fascinating and his respect for his art is inspiring. Alex is highly regarded in the hair styling community and it's a community that he constantly gives back to through the training and workshops he provides to his staff and fellow stylists. He's someone who understands the importance of staying on top of all the latest trends, technologies, and techniques. The world of hair styling is constantly changing, and you either adapt or get left behind - and Alex is clearly not someone who's going to get left behind. I can't recommend this salon, and specifically Alex, enough. I will certainly be coming back next time I'm due for a trim and in the meantime I'll be singing Alex's praises to anyone that will listen. I was sorely disappointed, but to be clear it was neither Jimmy nor Angela that cut my hair. I didn't get my hairdressers name but she was Indonesian and had blonde hair. As long as you are flexible with anyone to cut your hair, then you can be seen ASAP. I always call beforehand and I always get to be seen same day within the next 2 hours. I only had two people cut my hair here, Michelle and Ken???? Ken is a new guy with dyed hair and speaks limited English. Michelle has been doing this for a while. I loved their old location but this new location definitely helps their salon shine. Lots of natural lighting and room for them to really allow an open space concept with seating throughout for others to see the magic happens. For the price of $28 before tip for a male's haircut, I think it is a fair price to ask in this economy and prime location. Hairwashing and shampoo is included for before and after the cut. Also if you want them to style your hair and prepare it for the day then that is also included with gel/wax/hair spray (your choice). Use cash if you can to avoid the 3% credit charge fee. I come here, get an amazing shampoo/head massage experience to start, then a cut, followed by a blow dry and hair straightened! And it's reasonably priced! Way less than the other salons I've gone to where i paid $75+ and walked out the salon with my hair still wet because it was extra $$ for a blow dry. I've recommended multiple ppl here and even my husband gets his hair cut here now! Highly recommend!!

I also specifically ask for it to not be round in the back and mentioned that my other hair dresser said the back of my head sticks out a bit and it can cause roundness depending on how the person cuts it.
