Shirin is absolutely amazing! I have been going to see Shirin for years now and I do not trust anyone else with my hair. She has cut & colored my hair and every time it turns out exactly how I want it. She NEVER cuts off more of my hair than I ask of her, which is what most people complain of with their hairdressers. She also colors hair so beautifully. The one time I went to see someone else when I was living in Seattle in college she completely ruined my highlights and my hair color turned out awful. I went to see Shirin when I got back and she totally fixed my hair and made it look great again. I guarantee if you go to Shirin you will walk away with your hair looking gorgeous! The photos were after my most recent visit with Shirin. I had been growing my hair out dark for a while and I wanted her to add in some blonde to lighten my hair around my face but still keep it dark towards the top and underneath so I can grow it out if I want to. After searching high and low for a good hairstylist, I finally found Shirin. I left a message enquiring the cost. In a couple of hours, I got a reply and a tentative appointment opening. My appointment was at 2pm. However I was late by 10min or so. The stylist did not reprimand me like a child late for school. Phew! Thanks for being accommodating. A wrong turn and additional 10min are easily lost. She started off right away asking with what I wanted. She was cool enough to tell me what would and would not work. After washing my hair, she started with the layers I wanted taking care with showing me the length of hair she would be trimming off. She kept an engaging conversation going throughout. After the hair cut was done and she gave me a blow dry, it was time to get it styled. Just the hair cut and blow dry was fab too. But the styling took it a notch higher. She added soft curls and some volumizing products to make my fine hair look a little bouncy. She did a great job considering my hair go flat on any amount of hair spray. It took quite some time but like all good things it seemed it was over too soon. Definitely going back next time! read more

She is a wonderful person and really understands my hair. She listens to what you want and offers suggestions and is honest.
