I went to many dealers to sell the Jeep and was offered rock bottom prices. I was also told to bring it back on the day I was leaving, which worried me as I had no guarantee on the day I was leaving the other dealers would in fact pay me the agreed price. Paisano's paid me immediately the 30% higher than anybody else and let me drive the car until I was leaving. They paid me the blue book value plus 10% . I could not have expected a more honorable and honest service. Then Ironically after a month back in the UK, I got an offer to come back. I loved my Jeep and I called Pancho as I really had never wanted to sell my Jeep and I wanted to get buy it back. I was able to buy my Jeep back at excaty the same price I sold it with no extra charges and the the shocks having been replaced on all 4 wheels. So deep is my trust of this place, I now use them as the mechanics for my Jeep if anything goes wrong. Reading the 2 previous reviews I feel compelled to write a review as these guys, for me at least, completely broke the stereotypical second hand car dealer mold. My situation gave 2 instances where they could have acted very differently and made my experience much more stressful and expensive. I made the mistake of buying a car here and I had several issues. I left it and I got a call back that it needed a new timing belt and that they could change it for me. They charged my $225. I went ahead a paid them, when I picked up the car they said that they couldn't give me a receipt because they are not licensed to do auto mechanical work. So I drove away from the lot in a hurry to get to an appointment I had pending...within 1 mile of leaving the check engine light turned on. I got home and I noticed there were cables hanging from the underside of the car and that the front bumper was hanging off, to add to it...the bumber had a crack on it. I called them and they didn't get back to me for 2 days. Finally Jose the manager called me and left a voicemail and to bring it back and that they woulld fix ALL the issues. I took it back...on the way there the car started to overheat because they left a hose on top of a turning gear. Water started leaking and the car was overheating on the way back to the dealer. I just made there. It was smoking when I got there and the car dash said "STOP" the moment I arrived. Something was seriously wrong. So I left it and it took them 9 days to call me and say that the car was ready. I arrived and spoke to Jose the manager again. He said they had changed out a few sensors and they fixed the hose issue. They also reattached the bumper correctly, but left the crack that they caused on it when they had removed it to change the timing belt. At this point I was super disappointed because he had said they would fix the issue. I still have the voicemail where he said this. Obviously, they hadn't fixed one of the biggest issues. When I asked him about the crack...he said "How can I fix that..that's going to cost me too much." I left the dealership with the car...again one mile away...the cars check engine light turned on and the car started to shake. I pulled over and I saw a broken hose where they had changed a sensor. I assume that when they were changing the sensor they must have broken one of the vacuum lines. I bought some tape and taped it up, then went and bought the parts myself because it was obvious that I couldn't take it back because they were incapable of fixing things. What I think happened when I originally left the car the first time was that they took some of the parts out and thought I wouldn't notice. These guys rebuild auctioned or broken cars and had another car that was the same model as mine on their lot. When I bought the car, I took some pictures and something I noticed immediately was that the rims on my car were not the rims in the pictures I had...this told me everything. I will never be doing business with this company again, but will be spreading the word concerning their processes and operations. To top it all off. A few weeks later I hadn't received my plates ...I called them and they said that I needed to pay them an additional $45 because the plates were a bit more than expected. Our agreement originally was $7000 flat for everything....car cost, taxes, fees and licensing. I had to argue with them and they finally said they would send them the next day. I didn't get them until 9 days later. By the way. I paid them for the timing belt and when I took it back one of the check engine codes was related to the timing belt. I told them I thought the timing was off...they said no it wasn't that it was a sensor. I took it to the dealership to get everything checked out and they told me the timing was off. This was places serves up nothing, but lies and headaches for your money.

So I typically approach the process with a bit of standoffishness. Despite this approach, I had a great buying experience that ran contradictory to previous experiences. I worked with Ronnie, and he was competent, patient, and flexible. He made the buying process fast, uncomplicated, and he was very accomodating. I'd happily recommend working with him to anyone shopping for a car.

It became a fond hallmark of our active time outside: Chuck Olson Chevrolet announcements on the lot wafting over to class time. At that time, when I was in high school, our family had no Chevrolets. Fast forward a little over a decade to present and my dad owns a Chevrolet. My most recent visit was dropping my Dad off and picking him up when he brought his car in for some routine work and a specific problem. Work on the car was fast and efficient and finished the same day. There was a large strip of customer parking which was nice for when we dropped my dad off in the morning. He drove his car and took it to drop it off for service and I found the stretch of customer parking and parked and waited there while he got his car checked in. When we went back to pick up his car in the afternoon it was parked in the customer parking area which made it very easy to find. Not all dealerships/service centers designate the customer parking clearly and I appreciated it being clearly visible painted on the ground by the designated parking spaces.

I would say stick to the nicer used car dealerships in the area that have gurantees and warrantys built into the sale. United Auto Group does not for a reason. There has been so many things wrong with the vehicle I bought from them, and the engine went out after a month. I am in a lot of debt now. But mostly I should have stuck to my gut and moved on from the purchase. The truck had been sitting there for 10 months and could not sold. They had an excuse for everything. We headed out in search of driving and learning about an electric vehicle (EV) We were not intending on purchasing one. It was just an exploratory mission to drive, learn and compare EVs. We stopped by Lee Johnson Hyundai in Everett and my life's course changed forever. I saw him. Yes him. (Not that Him.) Lee. Low pressure, friendly, informative, well dressed, Lee. Lee was able to explain, show, demonstrate, explain again, (I'm old) about all the EVs idiosyncrasies. We took a test drive and were very impressed. I would mention the vehicle here but, no. The star of the day was Lee. Sadly, and I later learned, stupidly, we told Lee thank you for the bountiful gift of knowledge but we must quest on and look at other EVs to further our knowledge. Lee happily sent me on my way. Kind, friendly Lee did not try to make a "high pressure last ditch effort" to keep me there. He just wished me well and said "I hope I see you again." (Little did I know Lee must be psychic.) We went to other dealers and engaged and learned bout other EVs. We found a lot of EVs to be a plastic, uncomfortable, cheaply put together with random EV tech thrown around that wasn't even on the same level as what Lee showed us. We thanked the other, low pressure, very friendly but not as friendly as Lee, sales people. We went back to Lee. There he was. Not standing impatiently at the front of the dealership, like so many sales people do. He was inside sitting and joking with other people. His face lit up when he saw me. The word destiny, came to mind. But I digress. I could go on and on about Lee. But I have to go to work. I ended up purchasing an Ioniq 5. The star of the show should have been the Ioniq 5. It is am amazing EV with a 10yr battery warranty. Not 8 years. Bumper to bumper warranty , for what seems forever and blah, blah, blah. If you want to buy an EV, Lee will show you what Lee Johnson Hyundai has available. He will explain and help you make a decision. That decision might be to leave and think about the purchase, to go check other dealers or whatever you need or desire. Lee will help you however he can, No Strings Attached (Not the *NSYNC album reference so no copyright infringement) It was a pleasure buying an Ioniq 5 from Lee Hanson at Lee Johnson Hyundai. He waved it off and brought the keys for a test drive. During the drive, a warning came up that a camera was inoperable. We mentioned it upon returning and it was waved off as nothing. I asked about camera locations on the car and he was clueless. Then we tried to open the trunk with the key fob, then tried to open with the release in the car. It opened a crack and we pushed it up with a lot of effort. It was supposed to be an electronic release. The vehicle obviously was in an accident, Infiniti bought it, didn't make repairs and tried to sell it. Then they gave us sales numbers with no discount for needed repairs and add on numbers for who knows what and an awful interest rate. My advice is to research your car before coming here because the sales staff is clueless.
