Double check your order. I ordered through Uber beef short ribs, yakisoba and its my treat for getting through the Monday. It shows up and its chicken fried rice so I call them and he says its a employee mistake and if I come in he will make it. I know people make mistakes and so I make the 15 min drive each way I get there and give them the original order back and take the food he has waiting for me and I get home and its chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu. I'm not sure how I haven't reviewed Snohomish Teriyaki before because I've been here many times, dating back to high school in the early 2000s. In fact, it may be where I first developed my love for teriyaki. I continued to eat teriyaki through my years at the University of Washington and then I moved to San Diego and found that teriyaki is not as popular in other areas of the country. I now tell all my friends who visit the PNW that they must add teriyaki to their must-eat lists, as it is on mine whenever I visit my hometown. We picked up three chicken teriyakis to go for my mom, dad, brother and I to share. In hindsight, two would have been sufficient for the meal but leftover teriyaki is never a bad thing. If only it weren't my last day in town or I would have happily eaten it the next day. The chicken teriyaki continues to be as delicious and plentiful as it did back in the day. I've always been able to make one serving last for 2 to 3 meals, which makes it a great affordable meal. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. read more

Went there around 7 pm on a Sunday and it was quiet, but calming. The workers and service is excellent and the cashier was very nice. It took around 5-10 minutes to get our food (we got takeout) once we opened our food, we good everything we asked for in the boxes, filled to the brim. Chicken teriyaki with a salad which you can see has little to no dressing on it like who wants to eat plain lettuce crammed in a container. The teriyaki was dry cause they put no sauce on at the end like they were trying to ration their supplies, and gave one container of teriyaki sauce to go which wasn't full just half full. Decent katsu sauce, tasty slivers of chicken nicely cooked, not overdone like so often seen when spots don't care so much. Katsu was crisp, teriyaki sauce not overly sweet. Most disgusting Teriyaki I have ever ordered. I got the Mongolian beef, which is touch and go from restaurant to restaurant already. Not only was my portion tiny, with well over half the box rice, but the Mongolian beef itself was bland and almost tasteless. The beef was dry and overcooked. The onions overcooked, soft and mushy. I threw it out rather than eat something so disgusting. My fiance got chicken teriyaki. Even more rice than my portion, and also incredibly dry. Zero stars. So gross. read more

This is my favorite place to get food in town. This place is so lovely- the restaurant is clean and tidy. The prices aren't unreasonable. The tofu teriyaki plate that I am OBSESSED with is always delicious. I always get boba tea as well, and it is so sweet and delicious. Whenever I need to eat somewhere with vegetarian options, I struggle finding somewhere local that my friends and family will also enjoy. This place is phenomenal and I hope it never changes owners and the staff sticks around. The cashier woman is nice but not too warm. For introverts like me, it's nice to just get your food and eat and leave a nice tip. But if part of your dining experience is conversation, oh might find it cold in that area. I made a human error of grabbing food from the wrong store. I paid for it and everything. As I'm leaving this place calls me longer than they said they would have it ready and demands that I come and pick it up too. I apologized and told them I had no money. And he says so what you going to do? Me confused I'm like idk what you want me to do. The person on the phone told me they were going to force me to come and get the food. When I hung up because of the unprofessionalism they continued to call and harass me. I get it. I made a mistake but this is not how a business should handle this. Being a student that is studying in Seattle, there are Teriyaki restaurants all over the place. Even so, Snohomish Teriyaki is THE BEST. Hands down. My favorite thing to order there is the tofu yakisoba. Their tofu is fried to perfection, their cabbage is seasoned and succulent, and the broccoli, onions and zucchini play a melody in your mouth. I'm not exaggerating, it is really THAT good. I was sick this fall with the flu and their food is so easy on the stomach that it was all I could eat, everything else I could not hold down. I was super disappointed. I went here because teriyaki is one of the foods my 4 year old is guaranteed to eat and she wasn't even having it. The food came out fast and the chicken was room temperature if not colder . The lettuce was huge pieces and not really accessible as a salad without chopping.
